Ettie and Elsa-May are at it again in this page turning, sisterly bantering, humorous quips, with LOL moments throughtout the story.
The ladies' usual, hilarious antics, have you glued to the book right away, especially, if you're very familiar with them😂🤭.
As from the title suggests, this story involves Quilts & Murder. It all starts with the ladies friend, Maggie, inviting them to a Quilt Convention being held in their town. Now, things start off hilarious, to me, when one of the sisters says she will walk to the Convention, which is 5 miles from their home!!
After this start, THIS is when everything goes from funny to messed up for Ettie, Elsa-May, & Maggie. Ettie & Elsa-May were just going along with Maggie, because she knows the 2 ladies that's holding the, Well Known, Quilt Convention, Clara & Marla.
Once arriving to the building it's being held at, AS ALWAYS, this is where TROUBLE finds the sisters & Maggie.
I will say this, because I don't want to give away ANYTHING, the story is a MUST READ FOR SURE!!!!

Quilty Until Proven Innocent is the 30th book in the Ettie Smith Amish Mysteries series by Samantha Price and will be released June 19, 2025.
Ettie and her sister Elsa-May, are elderly Amish sisters that can’t seem to stay away from a good mystery in their little Amish community. This time, they are innocently attending a quilting show and literally stumble over a dead body. As the ladies try to solve this mystery, they are pulled Deeper and deeper into a dangerous situation. Regardless, they just can’t let this mystery go unsolved. As the clues pile up, even the warning from Detective, Kelly, can’t keep them from pushing forward to find the answer. In this who-done-it, The characters are realistic, some are old returning characters and some new ones. The storyline moves at a quick pace, so there is no way for you to get bored. As with her other novels, Ms. Price keeps you guessing from beginning to end. I highly recommend this delightful 5-star story. I was given an A R,C by the author, but I was not required to give a positive review. All opinions or mom You need to pre-order your copy ASAP.
I’ve read this whole series in order with Kindle Unlimited, and it is very entertaining. I had to knock off a star this time because I kept finding typos that were so glaringly obvious that any half decent editor should have seen them. The plot was pretty good, Ettie and Elsa-May were as quirky and fun as always, and it made for a quick read. I did think the “big reveal” was a little less than “big” this time around —after all their hard work gathering clues, it kind of wrapped up quickly there at the end, and without much of a twist. I was not surprised at all at whodunnit. But still, I continue to enjoy this series, and look forward to the one coming out later this year.
The two sisters are at it again. They find themselves with an antique quilt and a murder to solve. Why would anyone want to kill Walter? Ettie and Elsa-May are the cutest Amish sisters. They thrive on a little intrigue in their lives. Detective Kirby always warns them about the danger they are in and to stay out of the investigation. But he seems to rely on their inquisitive nature and their skills in finding the truth.
This is not the first book of the series. And I hope it won't be the last. I enjoy the lighthearted stories.
As usual, Elsa-May and Ettie don’t have to go looking for trouble because trouble finds them! And no matter Detective Kelly’s warnings to allow him to do his job, without interference, his warnings go unheeded. But what’s a couple of sisters to do when mystery and intrigue come knocking? Help, of course! With danger lurking in the shadows, a murderer on the loose, they won’t give up until justice is served. The author has once again written a story that entertains, brings chuckles and keeps you guessing until the end. Well done!
If you're looking for a cozy, witty, page turner mystery with heart and charm, this series featuring sharp-minded Amish sisters is a delightful gem. You just never know what Elsa May or Ettie will say or do next. They have a knack for being in the right place at just the right time, to “stumble” over a body and help solve mysteries. What would detective Kelly ever do without them!! This is book 30 but you do not need to start from number 1 or go in order….. Although, after reading one you’re gonna want to read them all!! Happy reading!!
I love the Ettie Smith mysteries and I stop whatever I am currently reading to read a newly released book. I whole series is entertaining and their sarcasm and humor keeps you smiling. I am looking forward to the next book.
Another great book with Ettie and her sister Elsa May once again find themselves involved in a mystery as only they can . Always love these books and look forward to the next one.
These two sisters remind me of Sherlock Holmes or Inspector Gadget. They are always solving another mystery. I recommend this series to everyone who loves murder mysteries.
