Love love love this story. Make sure you read these books in order.

After the ending of book two I couldn't wait to read this book. The author certainly didn't disappoint me.
Yet again Nicky has written a brilliant emotional story. The author has a great way with words. I felt the characters were real and that my heart went through the same emotions that the characters were going through.

I highly recommend this story.. Actually I recommend this series.

This is book 3 in the Deception Series. This continues Willow & Parkers Story. I've loved reading about Willow & Parker. Because they seem so perfect together.
This story continues with Willow & Parker still trying to work out there feelings, While they try to help Tanner get over the death of his wife Riley. Riley dying in the 2nd book broke my heart. I really liked her. Willow is an awesome character and person. Parker used to be a playboy until he fell in love with Willow. Is there love strong enough to overcome there past? You have to read this story to find out. A lot happens on this book. You have a lot of emotions while reading this book. One mine your happy the next sad and sometimes I felt like throwing my kindle across the room. I like most of the characters in this series. I hate Willows grandmother & Duncan they are awful people and they both are very cruel. The rest of the characters are kind & sweet. This is my favorite quote from the book You can fight physically, you can win with a punch, but the battles worth fighting and bleeding over are the ones that will free your heart.
I really hope there is going to be another book in this series I really need more after that ending. Nicky Jayne really knows how to leave you wondering what's going to happen next. She is an amazing author who really knows how to write a story. If you haven't read this series you really need to if you love a lot of mystery in your books. Because in this series there is a lot of mystery and you never know what's going to happen next. I did not expect anything that was going to happen in this book that happened.

Can I just say, having an ARC sometimes comes with a fault. You have NO ONE to tell or cry with!
Willow is a broken woman, trying with everything she has to leave her past behind her & make a new life. She succeeds for a short while until being betrayed in the worst way.
Parker is in my eyes a typical man with money. Play boy at his finest, the last thing he thought would happen would be falling head over heels for ONE woman, wanting her more than any one night stand.
When a mutual friend dies (not knowing in the beginning it is a murder being covered up) this group is brought closer to help Tanner with his beautiful babies. Willow after all doesn't know just extent her past has caught up with her.
The twists & turns that come in this book will have you reading non-stop, then re-reading just to make sure you didn't miss anything in your blubbering cries or temper tantrums that come with the last third of the book!!
I'm not going to give any spoilers, but to say this book takes you on a mind train to craziness is an understatement.!! You'll love the story line, as crisp & flowing as it is.. The ending will leave you speechless & for sure wanting more!! I'm a Nicky Jayne fan for life.!! <3

Beta read this for Nicky Jayne♥

Having read Nicky Jayne's work before I know to expect the unexpected and to keep the kleenex nearby :)

I like the way GROUNDED starts off with Parker's  POV and how it picks up where TAKING FLIGHTended.I must admit Willow has a rather frightening grandmother , she's definitely not the knitting, cookies and candy type , she's more your guns and knuckle busters kind of gal ! She has no qualms in getting what she wants !

My heart aches for everyone feeling the loss of Riley but Willow is doing a brilliant "surrogate" job♥ With Willow being such a huge part of Tanner and the childrens lives we see Tanner being very protective of Willow and at one point I questioned his intentions but my concerns were unfounded *heaving a sigh of relief*

I was a bit annoyed with Parker at a stage because his way of pining is serial bed hopping :/ but I quickly get over myself and forgive Parker when he "saves" Willow in the parking lot .

Duncan , what a sleaze ! He's hell bent on revenge and filled with greed and anger add that to his already violent persona and we have a really nasty cocktail ! He scares the beejeebies out of me! He's determined to get to Willow and the thought alone makes my blood run cold :{

Then there's Rebecca , the venomous black widow who's not quite right in the head , a case of "wheel's turning but the hamster's dead"  ! Already having "blood" on her hands I don't think she'd hesitate to kill again .....

Willow starts getting strange calls and threatening texts which she doesn't tell Parker about and I'm like "Hell girl what's with that dumbass move?" Duncan has been waiting for the perfect opportunity to get to Willow and it comes along when she goes to Tanner's , then the unspeakable happens and I need to remind myself to breathe! OMW ! My shattered nerves! PoorWillow:(

Eventually Parker realises that something's amiss and sets off to get Willow ♥ and it's right here where Nicky Jayne surprises me ,there's a twist and it comes from an unexpected source and someone who I thought had no heart !

"Doomsday" finally arrives for Willow and my stomach is in knots and I'm feeling rather nauseous :| in the meantime Tanner and Parker call in the calvary for the rescue mission and I'm gearing up for action!

Tanner has had suspicions about Riley's death and he shares his findings with Parker and I'm reaching for my trusted friend Kleenex !

I did mention Willow had a rather unconventional grandmother , well let's be honest she's a physcotic €#$^& !!!!! She'd rip wings off butterflies for fun :/Parker saves Tanner from making a really bad decision but at the same time I feel his actions are more than justified .

Karma will pay Duncan a visit soon enough!

My heart was in a million pieces as I finishedGROUNDED !

Applauding you, with used kleenex filled hands ,Nicky Jayne on another ★★★★★ read! THANK YOU from my little beta heart xxxxx

“Grounded” by Nicky Jayne
2 out of 5 stars

I typically go into every book expecting to love it. Often times I fight tooth and nail against not liking a book. Once again there is a battle raging in my head over Nicky Jayne’s Deception series. I love Riley and Tanner. They were well developed in their book and are the only thing that has kept me tuned in to this story. Imagine then, my frustration at her death in the last book! It seemed so unnecessary to the story and after reading this one I still maintain that assertion. Jayne could’ve easily come to the same ending with Riley well and truly alive. To say I’m disappointed by this is an understatement.

Let’s move on to the focus of this installment…Parker and Willow. I am still struggling to connect with these characters. Yes Parker suffered a tough blow as a child but his behavior as an adult can no longer be justified by the death of his parents. He has become nothing more than a sullen child housed in a man’s body.

Willow isn’t any better. Having stepped in to fill the hole left by Riley, she has lost her identity. Where is the girl who had enough spunk to completely walk away from her life and start a new one? I miss the brief glance we had of that girl. The anger and resentment between she and Parker seems almost bizarre and a bit out of left field. There simply is not enough buildup of story to back it.

The “mystery” side storyline in this book is a thread left best unraveled. I just don’t get it. It adds nothing to the story and only serves to be a distraction. I wish Jayne had left this plotline completely out in favor of focusing on her main characters more. By the end of the book I was ready to throw my hands up in frustration and defeat. What started out as a series with great potential has slowly gone downhill. Jayne excels most when she focuses on her characters and their development (i.e. “Footprints”). I would love to read more of that from her. Until then I think I’m done with this series.

*I was given a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.*

Grounded is the third installment in The Deception Series by Nicky Jayne and must be read in order. In the Footprints, we fall in love with Riley and Tanner, in Taking Flight we get more of Parker and Nicky crashes my dreams of a happy ever after for Riley and her family.

I am a huge fan of Nicky's writing and have come to expect nothing less than several plot twists that will keep me on the edge of my seat page after page. She fulfills my expectations and then some in Grounded.

Just when I think that Willow and Parker may have found a chance at happiness she is ripped from his grasp. A business deal gone wrong, family secrets unfolded, and the intricate web of deception beginning to unravel.

The story provides insight into past events and relationships. We get answers to some questions and are left with some new ones. What will the future hold for Willow and Parker? Can Tanner find it was in his heart to forgive his best friend for his role in the unintentional pain that has been inflicted upon his family?

Grab your copy of Grounded today and catch up with Tanner, Parker and Willow. Then get ready for “Forgiven”, the next and final installment in The Deception Series.

I was given a copy of grounded from Hooked on Books in return for a honest review.

WOWZA I was not expecting that !

Grounded is the third novel in the Deception series by Nicky Jayne. Willow and Parker are still battling there feelings for each other while trying to help Tanner put his broken heart back together after the death of his wife Riley. As Parker and willow finally let there defences down will it survive the hurricane of the past, that comes crashing into there present and threatens there future !!

~~ You can fight physically, you can win with a punch, but the battles worth fighting and bleeding over are the ones that will free your heart........

There are no words to describe how amazing and faultless Grounded is, Nicky Jayne is my new favourite author. I was on a roller coaster of emotions from page one right thought till the end, I was so drawn in it was like I was actually there with them. The shocks, the twists and turns are never ending, I was on the edge of my seat, a real page turner that will stick in your mind for a very long time to come. 100% recommendation from me.

Prepare for tears, anger, tears, heartbreak and more tears.

Grounded picks up where Taking Flight left off, Willow and Parker are trying to help Tanner put his life back together after losing Riley, as well as helping take care of the kids.

Parker and Willow are still battling their feelings for each other and once Willow's past catches up to her Parker goes all out to keep her safe, but thanks to the twists and turns in this book, keeping Willow safe is not his only problem.
Both Parker and Willow's pasts are no longer in the past and are deeper than either ever imagined.
Can these two ever overcome their issues and be happy together?

Wow, I thought her other books were fabulous but this one has blown me away. What can I say Parker and Tanner are a pair of hot hunks! The relationship between Willow and Parker is finally able to grow but of course things can't be that easy and their relationship is threatened by both of their pasts. Tanner is still trying to deal with the loss of Riley and new information makes dealing with that loss that much harder. The twists and turns in this book are awesome and a couple times I had to reread to make sure it was really happening. CANNOT wait for the next book in the series!

Nicky Jayne has done it again with Grounded! Grounded picks up where Taking Flight leaves off. Parker and Willow are on again and off again, but they are still drawn to each other. Both fighting the feelings they have. When things go from bad to worse, Parker finds himself going insane trying to protect Willow. Willow's world has been turned upside down yet again by her family. Can these two finally come together or will things beyond their control continue to rip them apart? This one has a lot of twist and turns to it that keep you on the edge of your seat and turning the pages!

Grounded blew me away! I have been a huge fan of Nicky Jayne ever since I got my hands on Footprints. It picked off where Taking flight ended and Parker and Willow are trying to help Tanner pick up the pieces after a tragedy changed his world. They are trying to heal with the loss of a loved one all while dealing with their feelings for each other.

This was an emotional read for me. I found myself wiping tears away more than once. I was angry one minute, crying the next, and at times my heart was pounding from suspense. Grounded had it all and I really enjoyed reading it. I was drawn in and felt like I was living in the book. Nicky has a way with putting emotion into her words. It was as if I was living as the characters instead of reading. For the last 1/3 of the book, my mouth was hanging open and I wanted to scream! Actually, I'm pretty sure I did and then I messaged Nicky lol!

We get to see Willow and Parkers relationship grow, but just when things are finally looking up for them, Willows past comes back to haunt her. We get a glimpse into the characters past and the secrets start to unfold. With all the twists and turns, you will be on the edge of your seat.

Grounded was beautifully written and the plot flowed nicely. I would recommend this series to anyone and if you haven't read Footprints or Taking Flight, go one-click those now! I can NOT wait for more Parker in the next installment! I can't wait to see where Parker and Willow's relationship goes! 5 stars !!!

Willow and Parker have called a truce and find themselves together. Duncan, Willow's piece if crap ex, is out for her and Parker.

Willow is taken by Duncan and Parke and Tanner are beside themselves. Once they find her. They formulate a plan. What they didn't expect, was to find out details concerning Riley.
Oh man, this series has me going wild! Just when I think all is going to fine, the author completely throws me thru a loop!! My emotions are just all over the place!! I feel so bad for Tanner though!! Ugh.

Nicky Jayne has once again captured my heart and has stomped all over it. Hopefully it gets blended back together soon!!

5 out of 5 star!!

Nicky works her magic with this one!

The twists & turns in this third instalment of the Deception series will have your head in a spin!
We get some much needed answers to Parker & Willow's story along with more of Tanner & his family. It also raises more questions, I can't wait for part 4!!!

So in order to keep this spoiler free I will end here with a HANKY WARNING! I sobbed like a baby at parts.

Honestly, well done Nicky!

Oh my, where do begin. book 3 is still the story of Willow and Parker, but oh my Who new where Willow came from her back ground.
Duncan Finally finds Willow and stalks her, sending her text messages and calling and hanging up. Willow is scared and doesn't know what to do.
One night all hell breaks loose and everyone's world is turned upside down. So many lies have been told and it all comes out. This is a must read. You will be on your toes.
