Must read!

This wonderful book is a heartfelt journey of human resilience and emotional growth. I really loved how the author contrasted with the harsh and frequently brutal environment, the book explores characters that are struggling with individual loss, transformation, and the challenge of establishing connections. The author's prose is poetic and realistic, bringing people into the emotional intimacy of the story. The book builds slowly, and the relationships and inner battles grow in an organic manner. Threads of hope, redemption, and the power in vulnerability are effectively explored. Reflective in voice but powerful in sense of place and intent, the novel is an intelligent and moving read. Ideal for readers who appreciate character-driven fiction with a lot of emotional resonance, The Valley Between is an involving book.

Great point of view

Given the fact that more than a quarter of pregnancies end in miscarriage, talking about it may seem normal. However, it is not. Experiencing this loss, you may wonder why it happened, what happens next, and what it means for your future. Through some reflections and religious points of view, author Zingler helps navigate the physical and emotional pain of pregnancy loss.

In this book, Zingler seems to join mothers on their journey of pregnancy loss. With her guidance, the healing process will be full of answers, understanding, and hope. Grieving will still be inevitable, but when doing the proposed exercises, understanding why this type of loss occurs will be easier, and finding peace will not seem so far-fetched.

I have just finished reading this book and I have to say that at times I was consumed by sadness and at others I came to feel how hope always shines again.
This memoir shows us the darkest moments that the author went through after the loss of a son and the courage with which she faced that pain.
When we hit rock bottom we open ourselves to the deepest and greatest changes to come out stronger.
More than an entertaining and informative book, this is an exceptional companion that reminds the reader that he or she is not alone in the process and that it is possible to emerge from pain even though it may seem improbable.

Inspiring

Simply incredible. I was fascinated by this book from the title, the cover, and the theme it addresses. It deals with a subject that can be painful, but at the same time extremely inspiring. I found it amazing how such a painful situation can lead to something as powerful as this book.

I believe that in life, we have two ways of facing difficult situations: from a protagonist’s role or from a place that traps us in the sadness of the moment. I love how the author uses this book to inspire others and to encourage people to live from a positive and resilient mindset. I hope there are more books like this great story.

Powerful book!

A book full of empathy, hope, and love. Reading Zigler’s story about her loss and how she faced the situation is very inspiring and heart-touching. I think it’s admirable how she decided to help other women with tools, personal reflections, and a message of hope—supporting and inspiring women going through similar situations.
I really liked how she uses passages from the Bible and talks about faith as the main source of strength during difficult times.
I would like to recommend this book to every woman who has faced a miscarriage, or to those who want to support others through these hard situations. You’ll find it very useful.

I especially appreciated how the author gently helps you make space for both sorrow and hope. And although this may sound contradictory, it is just like that. The Biblical reflections throughout are grounding, offering spiritual strength without ever feeling preachy.
A book I recommend due to its deep content.
