Domination (noun): the exercise of power or influence over another;
the state of being controlled.

Billie McCoy is one of Sydney’s elite detectives. Determined and driven, she’s well experienced in dealing with criminals. So, when a supposed friend turns enemy, she is suddenly caught off guard. Brett White had treated her only with respect when they’d first met, and Billie couldn’t deny she’d liked him. That was until she’d learnt he was involved in a murderous clan responsible for terrorising the locals. Unbeknownst to her, she had only cracked the tip of the iceberg with Brett. He would soon show his true colours. Driven by a dangerous infatuation, he is determined for them to be together.

Billie is convalescing in the safety of her friend Bree Marshall’s house when Brett intrudes into their privacy. Threatening Bree’s life, he forces Billie to leave with him. She is suddenly thrown back into a game of life or death. Struggling to deal with his crazy obsession, her focus is on escape. Billie knows her friends will try and rescue her, but Brett is ruthless, and she can’t warn them of his traps. Now more than ever she has to fight back against his insanity, not only to save herself, but to free her friends from the dangers closing in on all of them.

About the author

Carol lives on a property outside the small country town of Childers in Queensland, Australia. Married with three grownup children, she is now retired from working in a primary school. Carol loves to travel, both abroad and in Australia, which she is now discovering more of in her caravan.
Carol began writing in the 1980’s.
