I wish there had been more plot to balance out the smut, because it felt a little thin story-wise. That being said, I still enjoyed it. The writing kept me entertained, and the chemistry between the characters was fun to read. Even though I wanted a stronger storyline to pull everything together, it was still a quick, steamy read that delivered what it promised.

This book might just be breaking my record for the most fast-paced read ever! The main characters fall in love in just a few days, and honestly, I’m not complaining at all! I zipped through this book and enjoyed every minute of it. While it has some spicy moments, there’s also a solid plot that kept me hooked. Even though I figured out who the villain was quickly, the writing made it hard to put the book down.
Cash lost his dad and is on a mission to find whoever murdered him. All signs point to a rival family, so he decides to kidnap Jordyn to get some answers. What he doesn't expect is to discover that Jordyn is a woman! And she’s got a smart mouth, which drives him crazy. Cash is the oldest sibling and feels a strong sense of responsibility to protect his family. He’s determined to uncover the truth about his dad's murder and keep his younger brothers safe. He’s also dominant, controlling, and possessive, especially when it comes to Jordyn. I loved seeing him get all jealous when she interacted with his brothers, and I appreciated how he believes in her abilities and treats her like an equal partner.
Jordyn is smart, confident, fiery, and sassy—just the kind of character you can't help but root for! She’s spent too long in the shadow because her dad doesn’t think she can manage the family business. But she stands up to Cash and his brothers without fear, and I love how she makes him crazy with her quick wit. Their banter is so much fun, and I also loved her interactions with her bodyguard and Cash's brothers; those moments always made me laugh. Overall, this book is perfect if you’re in the mood for something quick and easy to read, with a mix of spice, action, and humor throughout.

Jordyn comes home to find all four of the Savage brothers waiting for her. Cash is in for a surprise when he figures out that Jordyn is a woman. He ends up kidnapping her to his house to get information. Cash doesn’t believe that she doesn’t know anything and decides to use her as a pawn in his game for revenge, but he gets distracted by her beauty and her fiery attitude. This where the fun begins, Jordyn is caught off guard when he says “good girl” and tells her to call him “Daddy.” One thing I love about stories with the daddy kink is the comfort she finds in his protectiveness and how he does everything to take care of her and protect her. She knows she can be herself and no matter what he’ll be take care of her, but also worship her like a queen. The spice was hot and kinky, but it doesn’t completely take over the story. Jordyn is a strong and independent with a sassy mouth who loves to be a brat. Cash is ruthless and savage in business, but is soft only for Jordyn, unless he’s punishing her for not listening to him. When a book opens with a disclaimer that the word “fuck” appears more than 400 times? Yeah, I knew I was exactly where I belonged.
Jordyn is sassy as fuck, and I mean that in the best way. She runs her mouth like it’s a competitive sport, which gets her into no end of trouble with Cash and it is equal parts hilarious and hot as hell.
And Cash? Holy hell that dom daddy energy. That man could drop a single look and have you voluntarily handcuffing yourself to a bed frame whispering “yes, Daddy” without a second thought.
Now, listen. The plot timeline? Fastest in the goddamn west. I’m talking “we met five minutes ago and now we’re in love” levels of speed. And I get it, it’s not trying to be a slow burn but I do struggle a bit when the emotional connection is expected to be that deep, that quickly. Give a girl a minute to believe it, y’know?
That said, plot takes a comfy back seat while the spice grabs the wheel and drives this bus straight to Pound Town and I am not complaining. The smut is chef’s kiss level good. Filthy. Fun. Fantastically done.
This was my first Kate Oliver book and I’m already eyeballing her backlist like a little smut gremlin that I am.

4.75 stars!
Savage Revenge was ridiculously good. I’ve attempted to read one other Kate Oliver romance and it had daddy kink with age play and well age play just isn’t my thing🤷🏻♀️. But I was assured this one had no age play and sure enough this story had all the Daddy Dom energy without the cringe for me. I devoured Cash and Jordyn’s story.
Jordyn is effortlessly witty and sassy and incredibly strong. She takes care of herself because no one in her life has and the armor she wears daily is both heartbreaking and inspiring. She’s an executive in her father’s company and when she’s kidnapped for information on whether her father killed a member of a rival family, well things don’t go quite as planned.
Cash and his brothers are out for revenge on the unfortunate murder of their father. Their top suspect is kidnapped but Cash isn’t prepared for her to be a woman and a woman that makes him feel something again at that. Cash has no boundaries and crosses all lines. He’s dominant and possessive and his jealous tendencies were cute as hell. He’s a big ole teddy bear (for his girl) that likes to be called daddy and has a spanking kink (among a few other things😂).
Jordyn and Cash play a delicious game of love/hate and I was HERE for it. Jordyn doesn’t want to give in to the man that wants to be her safe place but the love and adoration he offers is everything she’s ever wanted. Cash doesn’t think he deserves the fierce and feminine woman he kidnapped but he also can’t stay away from NEEDING to be her daddy.
In the quest to find who killed Cash’s father, Jordyn and Cash find if they let their guards down they could have something beautiful but they’ll have to be willing to jump.
Savage Revenge was so sexy and steamy with an enjoyable plot. I quite literally stayed up way too late trying to finish it in one day😂. I am reallllly looking forward to the other men getting their woman in future books and I’m really hoping Kate sticks with the same daddy kink formula she used in this one. I was hooked. If you’re a fan of Kate Oliver, I’d bet you’ll love this one.
Savage Revenge was ridiculously good. I’ve attempted to read one other Kate Oliver romance and it had daddy kink with age play and well age play just isn’t my thing🤷🏻♀️. But I was assured this one had no age play and sure enough this story had all the Daddy Dom energy without the cringe for me. I devoured Cash and Jordyn’s story.
Jordyn is effortlessly witty and sassy and incredibly strong. She takes care of herself because no one in her life has and the armor she wears daily is both heartbreaking and inspiring. She’s an executive in her father’s company and when she’s kidnapped for information on whether her father killed a member of a rival family, well things don’t go quite as planned.
Cash and his brothers are out for revenge on the unfortunate murder of their father. Their top suspect is kidnapped but Cash isn’t prepared for her to be a woman and a woman that makes him feel something again at that. Cash has no boundaries and crosses all lines. He’s dominant and possessive and his jealous tendencies were cute as hell. He’s a big ole teddy bear (for his girl) that likes to be called daddy and has a spanking kink (among a few other things😂).
Jordyn and Cash play a delicious game of love/hate and I was HERE for it. Jordyn doesn’t want to give in to the man that wants to be her safe place but the love and adoration he offers is everything she’s ever wanted. Cash doesn’t think he deserves the fierce and feminine woman he kidnapped but he also can’t stay away from NEEDING to be her daddy.
“I don’t share what’s mine, Jordyn. Not ever. I’m a selfish, possessive, fucked-up asshole, and I won’t hesitate to punish you if you’re naughty. So be a good girl and don’t force my hand, because you won’t like the consequences.”
In the quest to find who killed Cash’s father, Jordyn and Cash find if they let their guards down they could have something beautiful but they’ll have to be willing to jump.

Daddy and kitten are no longer real words. There is no way that the author did not make those words up at this point.
If I had known that Kate Oliver had such a pervasive Daddy kink, I would never have requested this ARC. A Daddy kink was not listed on the content warnings, and you know what? I would normally not have an issue with that. But in this case, it feels like it should be a major trigger warning. That kink did not stay to bedroom activities. The fact that our MMC, Cash, demanded that our FMC, Jordyn, call him Daddy all the time and in fact, punished her when she did not refer to him as Daddy was a little off-putting. Now couple that demand with the man getting paternally protective over her and tell me that doesn't make your skin crawl at least a little.
Whatever, let's look past theincest-ish Daddy kink and move on to the BDSM. Because absolutely not. Did Oliver read 50 Shades and think that those books were a guidebook? Are we not going to talk about the lack of aftercare? This man spends several minutes on multiple occasions aggressively spanking (with flat hand and with belt) Jordyn, and then offers her no aftercare at all. It does not matter that it is a punishment. This is a staple in a healthy BDSM relationship. Stop perpetrating bad practices.

Let me start this by saying, I have read over 20 Kate Oliver books and have ALWAYS loved them!!! She is an instant download for me for every one of her releases. But this doesnt read like a Kate Oliver book to me. I might be in the minority here, but very little of this book worked for me, and it makes me really sad!
Cash Savage is just an a$$hole, to everyone including her. I love possessive OTT Alpha males, but not when it just comes off like him being an a$$hole to his woman. He is a DD which I love, but no safe word? no aftercare? really?? Especially with major punishments when they arent in a relationship or agreed upon dynamic... it didnt work for me at all. He had some cute moments, gummy bears and tampons.... but it wasnt enough to redeem that he punished her without her agreeing to the whole thing, and then not giving her aftercare after punishments.
And there was an f**king third act breakup. I have never read one of those in a Kate Oliver book before and was not a fan at all!!!

Cash's father has been murdered outside of the casino empire that he owns. The only man Cash can see for the job is his fathers biggest rival. He decides to take and torture his eldest son for information, except he comes across a pretty big problem. Jordyn is a woman, and an absolute smoke-show at that.

I really wanted to love this one. The chemistry was alive and burning, the writing itself was interesting and well done, but the pace was wild. They were in love within a few days of her being kidnapped by him, and it was so rapid I couldn't relate. They didn't know each other, and yet he's choosing a nickname for her the minute they meet, and using it 170 times over the course of the 315 page book. I'm not sure it matters what the nickname was overall, just the sheer amount it was used ripped me out of the story. The dialogue was held back by being so repetitious, as the interactions started to edge into formulaic with the nickname, along with secondary nicknames slid into it so often. From there, their relationship progresses multiple levels at breakneck speed with no outside force pushing them towards it to set that pace, which just felt so strange to have it move so fast.
The daddy kink and humiliation kinks were done well though, suspending belief that they could get to that level of trust and intimacy that quickly, and it made for spicy if not somewhat surprising scenes due to the MMC's possessiveness yet willingness to openly punish her. Again, I genuinely enjoyed the writing, the overall plot and the characters, I just didn't enjoy the book itself, which left me in a weird spot on how to review it. Did i burn through this in a single sitting? Yes. Would I tell people they had to read it? I'm not sure that I would.
Overall it was enjoyable, but I think it was too illogical and rushed for me when it came to the timeline their relationship developed. I do think others will genuinely love this novel though, especially if they enjoy instant love and the nickname "kitten."

This is a quick and fast read and it’s a steamy book as well so if you love steamy then this is the book for you and it’s also a daddy kink book as well!
Cash is a possessive MMC and Jordyn is a badass FMC put them together and they make this book awesome. Jordyn likes to call Cash daddy when they are together. And everything else that went on between them was magical as well.

Oooooo, was this such a fun read! It had been a minute since I read a dark romance book, and this was such a delicious change of pace. It had so many tasty tropes: some enemies to lovers, discipline, mafia/organized crime vibes, lady napping... it was such a treat. Our leading lady Jordyn was so feisty - I was instantly a fan of her. I'm not the biggest fan of a really possessive man, but it was okay because Jordyn was the perfect partner for Daddy Cash! I loved meeting all of his brothers and hope we get to see each of their stories in the future. I was so glad that the villain got theirs in the end (GRRRR I WAS JUBILANT!) and there was a HEA. I finished this in a day and simply couldn't put it down. Such a fun and sexy time!

Savage Revenge is an enemies to lovers, fast paced romance with plenty of spice and Daddy kink. Cash and Jordyn give off major Romeo and Juliet vibes, only these two aren’t teens and their home base is sin city Las Vegas. Their story is fast paced, intense Nd entertaining.
If you like slightly unhinged morally gray characters, you are going to love Cash. This guy takes one look at Jordyn and he falls so fast and so hard! He was a guy used to getting his way and when he kidnaps Jordyn and stows her away under lock and key, Jordyn fights back and goes toe to toe with him every step of the way and he EATS it up!
Our heroine, Jordyn is no damsel in distress. She’s spunky, opinionated and a little bit of a brat. She holds on to her anger and is always ready to settle the score. I liked how she got along with not only Cash but his brothers too. The Savage brothers are definitely an interesting lot.

I wanted to like this book. I have read Kate Oliver books before and loved them but this just didn’t work for me.
I felt like the beginning of the book was a little slow, I stuck with it but I started noticing all the filler and lack of dialogue and once I started I couldn’t un-see it.
I gave it grace because the beginning of books, especially new series, can be a little slower while it builds up and then takes off. This never took off.
I know the MMC was supposed to be morally grey, not an issue for me because I’ve read plenty and I like it, but this MMC didn’t come across as morally grey, just an ass.
I’m all for DD kinks but the domination aspect of a relationship needs to be full circle for an honest D. This felt more like the type of guy that ‘plays’ it but doesn’t get the rest of the purpose. After care is such a huge element and that being left out made a book I was already struggling with really hard to like.
I hate the ignorance of characters who just blatantly ignore what’s in front of them. Yes he was upset at the death of his father, who wouldn’t be, but to base a whole whodunnit, on 1 text message, accidentally kidnap the wrong person because his enemy’s son was actually a daughter, to mock her name, and then punish her even though her and even his brothers weren’t convinced she had anything to do with it…. Just felt, lazy.
I liked the interactions with the brothers, it was amusing, I liked that the FMC seemed sassy but still gave in too easy. Her first interaction, she felt something other than fear when she was being kidnapped…. I’m all for insta love but this just didn’t feel like it fit for me.
I am very lucky that I was able to receive an arc for this book and as always my thoughts and opinions are all my own. It’s just a shame this book missed the mark for me.

Yes he was upset at the death of his father, who wouldn’t be, but to base a whole whodunnit, on 1 text message, accidentally kidnap the wrong person because his enemy’s son was actually a daughter, to mock her name, and then punish her even though her and even his brothers weren’t convinced she had anything to do with it…. Just felt, lazy.
I liked the interactions with the brothers, it was amusing, I liked that the FMC seemed sassy but still gave in too easy. Her first interaction, she felt something other than fear when she was being kidnapped…. I’m all for insta love but this just didn’t feel like it fit for me.
I am very lucky that I was able to receive an arc for this book and as always my thoughts and opinions are all my own. It’s just a shame this book missed the mark for me.

This is my first book by Kate Oliver and OMG… it was freaking HOT! I was not prepared, and I mean that in the best way possible.
Let’s talk about Cash — holy moly, this man has zero boundaries, and I am absolutely here for it! Like, I ate it up!! He’s intense, complex, and somehow manages to be both dangerous and swoon-worthy. I absolutely adored him.
Jordyn is strong, resilient, and just a little bit broken, which made her so relatable. Watching her find a tribe that loves and accepts her felt so powerful. Her journey was raw and emotional, and I was rooting for her the whole way through.
Also... I didn’t know I was into the Daddy thing until this book came along and said, “Oh yes, you are.” 👀 Consider my eyes opened!!!!!
This was a wild, spicy, emotional ride and now I have to go binge her other books. Kate Oliver, where have you been all my life?

There is a lot to like with this book, there are the darker themes but it’s not the darkest of romances but check your triggers as there is the whole kidnapping trope amongst others.
The Savage brothers are so interesting. Cash is the MMC of this story and he is everything that you expect him to be - slightly dark, tortured with a daddy kink and he doesn’t care who knows it 😉. He is torn between his need for revenge and his desire for the FMC (and she is great).
Loved Jordyn as the FMC. She is strong and feisty. She is determined and she is happy to tell Cash and his brothers exactly what she thinks.
The other supporting characters are brilliant too. I can not wait for the other books about the brothers and I hope that other characters will feature again particularly Caleb.

When the content warning says the word “fuck” is used 400 times I knew this would be for me!😂 This book was all kinds of sinful-delicious-devious and full of filthy smut with a praise /daddy kink.

A lot happens in a span of a week. We met five minutes ago and now we’re in love. There’s some period play too that kinda gave me the ick. But, overall I had a lot of fun with this one and enjoyed it! I loved Jordyn the FMC so feisty and strong and Cash freaking savage holy hell that man is hot af and the way he worships her had me wanting to be handcuffed to his bed saying “yes, daddy!” I also loved all the brothers and Caleb and all the banter between them! Looking forward to the next book and to see who the next brother is!
