Ace & Doe - book 4 Kidnapped By My Mate Series

Well after reading book 1 on Ace and Doe I was hyped for this, but it was a bit of a let down. The book felt rushed, it was okay at the start whilst Doe was coming to terms with her thoughts and feelings and we even had a crossover of books with Belle and Grayson having a small addition to it, but then Doe started nesting and her character changed (her omega took over) and it was an ick for me the way it was wrote, we lost fiery sassy Doe and got this desperate needy character and the way she went through her heat with Ace’s knot and her Slick was just gross, they way it described I assumed her bed sheets were covered in slime and it didn’t make a turn on when reading. I could have easily stopped there but ploughed on and it did pick up slightly near the end but this author can do better and shouldn’t feel pressured by whatever platform she releases on to get it right…I’m still invested in what’s to come of this universe but please Miss Whipple take your time

The whole Omega thing and her heat was just overdone. From the start it felt like the FMC was purely a sex toy. The whole premise of the story seemed to be about her heat and 10 days of sex. The whole ‘he man’ attitude from the MMC was boring. This story just reinforced the whole ‘woman in the kitchen and being breeders’. And everyone else from her mother, step father, and other characters just reinforced that the FMC role in life was to have sex, breed and be a good little slave. Right up to the end, it was about her being just an Omega made only to be a sex whore. Her only role in life was to please and open her legs. Was a real let down.

I love Ace and Doe’s story even more than Belle and Grayson’s. Ace and Doe start off this book in a rough patch with Doe finally learning about her and Ace’s past and being able to get her memories back of all things pertaining to werewolves. Doe has to question if all her decisions leading up to now have been based on her omega nature or if she’s made choices for herself. She stays strong in deciding she needs time apart from Ace despite it making her sick; Ace knows he won’t be able to stay away so he locks himself away to respect her wishes.

Doe’s stepdad offers her some freedom to get away and take some time to figure out what she wants away from everyone. Doe tries figure out if that’s what she wants or if she’s ready to fully accept Ace and be his mate. She decides to go see him while he’s locked up and realizes she’s not afraid of his wolf and she remembers she actually used to play with him when she was little. Doe and Ace reconcile, but Ace starts getting a little too overbearing and so Doe does decide to leave for a while and tells Ace she needs time to figure out who she is on her own.

Despite Ace having to stay locked up, he’s proud of Doe for standing up for herself and going out on her own even though he’s terrified that something will happen to her. Doe manages to stay away and look after herself for three months before she starts to think about going back, but Belle finds her and takes her back with her to the supernatural kingdom with her. Doe and Belle bond over their similar backgrounds and bossy alpha mates. Grayson (being Ace’s cousin) lets Ace know that Doe is there, so he finds her. They have a sweet reunion and decide to head home together.

Doe’s first heat is coming on and Ace realizes Doe had already started building her nest in the cabin she’d been staying in. They spend her first heat together in the cute cabin and she lets him mark her.

Doe has some other memories return to her from her childhood and we learn more of Ace’s parents back story and what happened between them. We also get a conclusion to Ace’s dad and all his craziness.

Overall, I like that Doe decided she wasn’t just going to go along with whatever Ace wanted and submit just because it was her omega nature. It was also so sweet that her stepdad knew she would at least want the option to be able to get away and discover who she wanted to be.

It was fun seeing an update on Belle and Grayson and it seems like more books might be coming with how this one ended. I hope we will get to see more of Ace and Doe in those books as well.

I am utterly appalled that young girls are led to believe that it is romantic and desirable for a man to oppress, patronise and manipulate them.
I read the whole series because my niece is so enthralled and now believes it would be desirable to find such love.
Apart from that, the books are not really well written: The protagonists lack depth, the interactions are contrived to the point of being ridiculously surreal, the plot is superficial and sometimes contradictory, and there are a lot of copy-paste lines. And in terms of content, I was really annoyed more than once. This brainwashing crap turns my stomach!
I originally thought it was the debut work of a very young (and misguided) author - but I was very wrong. For an older woman to sell such irresponsible rubbish to young girls is completely out of order!!!

I totally understand the (teenage) desire or longing for the great ultimate love.... But please, please, if your boyfriend/husband is physically abusing you or mentally putting you down and constantly belittling you, there is no excuse, really no excuse at all. Please get help, because rest assured, you deserve 100% better than this to be happy.

okay...hear me out...I loved the first two books...and really liked the 3rd but this one idk...especially that I was waiting 6 hours for every chapter..and when it was finally over and I read it...it wasn't much tbh...not alot happened and I can't say that this book way anything special...but I can't say it was bad either...I honestly really enjoyed it and what I actually loved was their relationship...I loved it really and how they feel about each other, though i think it's about when two people are fated and care so much about each other that i like not these two specific ones...BUT I didn't really like doe...I really liked ace, but doe? nope...idk just something about her being just so weak and treated like an f toy the whole book...
and u can see in this book that it's either no story at all of a plot suddenly that is so rushed and I just didn't vibe so much...
though I looooved the Grayson and belle moments and according to the end, something is happening with them and apparently their story isn't over...so yeah I'm kinda excited for that.

BELLE IS PREGNANT I think!!!! Overprotective Grayson..... his wolf can sense it. Must be!! Doe and Belle is going to become very very close, and achieve greatness together. Ace and Grayson too. LOVED every page of this book! Cant believe I read it so quick. It took me on an emotional rollercoaster. And it was so intense. The emotions. The heat. WOW! And now we are left hanging. I love that Belle and Grayson came back. I mean having all 4 of the most powerful couples together is so exciting. I hope the story continues..... I need MORE Annie!

The last chapter being subscription only makes me want to scream. But, i feel like we needed more. I wanted to see how Doe interacts with her family and with the pack after accepting and coming to terms with her position as Luna and I feel like one chapter can’t do that. The author spent so long on the beginning and her running away and her heat (which I do understand is necessary for Doe’s growth…..i guess) but just ended the story abruptly. I feel like the first one was wayyyy better and to be honest this all could have just been one book - would have been a long one though.

Annie Whipple did it again. I was so happy this book came out, and I was not disappointed at all. She made me fall in love with Ace and Doe all over again. The book had some great surprises that I did not see coming, and were happy they happened. The Alpha's Doe is a great addition to the Kidnapped By My Mate Series, and hasmr wondering who book 5 will be about. I need more of Ace and Doe in future books. Hopefully we will get a part three of their story so time in the future.

I loved the excitement 🤩 and the ups and downs of the Alpha and Omega's eternal love ❤️ story .... it was a story full of passion, fated mates romance, and also the crimes interspaced throughout the story.
It is very well written ✍️ and I absolutely recommend reading 📚 the whole series chronologically (so you get the background story of all the characters)!!!

I found this Author/this book series on the Galatea app last summer and i ate.them.up. Def spicy, but FMC is a teenager with her own struggle for independence and can’t make up her damn mind so that’s pretty agitating throughout the storyline lol. Ace is 🤤🤤🤤 though so i read mainly for him hehe… and now i fear i will be diving into the world of shifter romances! My twilight heart is thrilled!

I waited so long for this book! It was great, I think I preferred the first but I loved how Doe and Ace grew together. I also loved how Belle and Grayson make more than one appearance. Can’t wait to read more!!

Read in one sitting. Decent, but not nearly as good as Alpha’s Doe part 1. Still worth the read in my opinion but can get redundant in some of the topics. I’m hopeful for the third instalment to explore and mature Ace & Dorothy’s relationship because I loved part 1 so much!

Good story. The Galatea app I read it on was dumb and wouldn't let me read the epiloge chapter with out buying the unilimted reading and that's only avilible for a year. I'm not paying the $60 buck for unlimited reading for a year for 1 chapter.

(4.5 only bc it can’t top Grayson & Belle’s story) Great ending to Ace & Doe’s story. And left off on a bit of cliffhanger. So I’m excited for the next book!

It was okay, I thought part 1 was better. This felt so rushed and more of a short story than a book.

Loved how so many questions about the past were answered. Sure hoping there’s less drama for Ace and Doe….and more sequels!

Repetitivo.

I came across this series online and thought what the heck? I liked it. Patiently waited for the conclusion.

The first two books were about Grayson and Belle. The last two about his cousin, Ace, and Doe. Werewolf shifters who meet human fated mates. Drama in the acceptance of who they are. In this book, Doe has finally learned the secret of who Ace is and they find their happily ever after.
