Vivian Mae knows what she’s doing, and writing short, hot novellas are definitely one of the things she does best!
The intensity of emotions switched so quickly, and it’s done in such a good way. You go from feeling crippling anxiety from bullying one second, to a sense of bad ass b*tch the next. Summer takes back control of her life in such a hot way, and Rafael is ready to wipe the floor in front of her as she walks. It’s hot. Fun. And sweet. If one can call it that!!

A quick spicy novella where Summer gets her revenge on Rafael at their high school reunion. Freshman year, Summer and Rafael are friends but he's on the football team and wants to fit in. They tease Summer and he ends up joining in. At their reunion, she buys him in an auction and plans on getting her revenge. He goes willing and wants to make it up. He realizes how dumb he was and wants her.
Two years later, they are at a party looking for a third and find Ivanna, a celebrity assistant. They have one incredible night together.

I absolutely devoured this in one sitting!!! This short and steamy read will have you salivating for more!! This is my second book that I've read by Vivian Mae and she's fast becoming one of my new favourite authors.

Summer has had a glow up from the girl she was in high school.....she got bullied but the guy she thought was her best friend tuned out to be one of those horrible bullies!!! But he only does it to seem cool to his other "so called friends" Fast forward years later Rafael, he's now a hot surgeon who not only hated what he did to Summer but was also in love with her back then. But Summer is out for revenge....!! She wants to make him her pet, she was called a Freak by those that bullied her....she now wants to show just how freaky she can be!!!
This revenge turned love story is one that I'll definitely go back and read again. The book gets steamy after they introduce Ivanna into the mix OMG!!! wow 🥵 that bedroom scene is one that will stay with me for a while, I love a good FFM scene and this one didn't disappoint!! I'm now obsessed with this author!!!

This is a quick short read about Summer and Rafael. It starts when both are in high-school and provides the back story to the book.
14 years later Summer was back in the last place she wants to ever be. The only difference was this time Summer was in charge and the person of everyone's interest. This short scrumptious read has you curled up with a glass of wine,devouring the thrill this story enticed. Young love, revenge romance, and bullies to lovers is a whole new twist on the tropes. The Fmc was commanding, fierce and witty with kinks of her own while her first crush/love was a strong, intelligent yet submissive putty in her hands. A highschool crush turned betrayal into a revenge romance, full of over the top thrills, Jaw dropping spice and slow building plot with more to be had, it still leaves you satisfied . (Warning) This read is not for a weak link, creative intense scenes, heavy in sexual tensions played out and graphically detailed.

This short little novella by Vivian Mae was my first read from her. High school bullying leaving us with the story of Summer and how she was made fun of and then how she came back to her high school reunion. The event in high school that changed her life stayed with her till her high school reunion years later. More powerful, more confident, and absolutely stunning she goes back with a vengeance and a hot sexy one at that. Rafael has his own regrets from his role in Summer's high school pain. He lets Summer have her revenge and the outcome is perfect. This book short but amazing . I can't wait to read more from her.

Alright y'all. If you are looking for something quick with high spicy and low plot, look no further!! Now, the plot that is here, is GREAT! And the spice is impeccable!! This was a quick read, but it was really good and I really enjoyed myself going through the story of this book! I loved the characters we got, I liked the story we saw play out, I enjoyed spice, and just overall this was so great!! Highly recommend!! 4.5 stars; 4.5 chili peppers

Freak is a high school bullying revenge novella filled with all the spice! This second-chance romance is told from multiple POVs and can easily be devoured in a day. Summer, the FMC, is seeking revenge on her once-best friend, turned enemy, Raphael Amada, and all those who bullied her in HS. Now the CEO of her own company, she is finally ready to show them who she has become. Mae has a talent for crafting strong characters and a winning plot in a few hundred pages. This friends to enemies to lovers is definitely another favorite from Vivian Mae.

Freak is a short and spicy novella, and I love that this has a domme dynamic. I enjoyed that our fmc is a STEM baddie who has taken her school day bullying trauma and made herself the ultimate woman to be reckoned with. I very much enjoyed that she got her day of redemption.
Are there some elements that felt a little rushed, sure, but it's a novella. This is like a palate cleanser if you've been reading a bunch of toxic alpha male character books.

well...I need a cold shower..lol 🥵 I knew this book was going to be spicy but dang! I didn't think it was going to be SPICY SPICY!! The whole bullying scene from high school was insane. Then she comes back for revenge but ends up reuniting with her freak and taking him home. The threesome scenes were very spicy!

Tehehe I loved this one so much! From the first chapter finding out why Rafael and Summer are enemies to finally releasing their hate.. whew. Freak is the epitome of enemies to lovers. It resonated with me so much with being bullied in high-school. Everything fell right into place.

Vivian Mae might be the queen of short stories. She knows how to get to the point in less than 100 pages. This BDSM, Dom/Sub romance, was fun to read but not my thing.I preferred the Epilogue more than the main story.

What can say about this book!! This is enemies to lovers trope and also a revenge seeking book. The spice is off the charts and the vengefulness of the FMC is amazing. The book is just steam and spice and not everything nice. Awesome job Vivian Mae again.

well Vivian did not mess around on the SPICE 🔥 Short & lots of hot hot hotness, it was a fun read especially for my reading rut. Definitely more smut over plot but honestly that's exactly what I needed.
