Readers have called The Sin Room: "A finely crafted mystery with a climax and resolution twisted enough to satisfy the most discerning fans of the genre." and "A powerful drama with unabashedly realistic lust and sexuality."
"This sordid little erotic mystery had it all: sex, lies, kidnapping and murder. I thought the book was really well plotted with a brisk pace, realistic characters, scorching heat level sex scenes, and an ending that was shockingly satisfying. I highly recommend it, even if you have to skip over the scandalous, 'naughty bits'." - Goodreads (5 stars)
Includes a Bonus Erotica spin-off story.
WARNING: Heavy Erotica elements and rough sex, not for the easily offended. Mature audiences only, all characters over 18.
I love writing edgy erotica with interesting stories and twisted endings. I just published my first full length erotic mystery novel; The Sin Room. My favorite themes are dubious consent, reluctant sex, and revenge! I try to publish at least one kinky story a month, and hope you will enjoy some (all) of my erotica short stories. Also check out my homebrewing, and philosophy books.
Works in Progress: Angel In Sin (sequel to, The Sin Room) Hypnotizing The Ice Cream Twins (erotica) The Opposite of Gravity (science fiction)

I...honestly am not sure what I was expecting from this book, but it certainly was not what I read.
It feels to me like the book is trying to be several different things at once (a thriller, erotica, a mystery), but it doesn't really succeed at any of them.
The actual 'Sin Room' of the title barely shows up, as the book meanders all over the place - physically as well as plotwise.
It feels as if two seperate people set out to write a book together. One wanted to write down and dirty erotica, the other wanted to write a dark crime thriller, but they did not work together to make the parts fit.
The way time works, too, in this book meanders confusingly. It jumps back and forth several times in a very jarring manner. It is meant to show why certain things happened, but it mostly just ends up confusing to the reader.
As far as the actual erotica parts of the book, well...to be perfectly honest, several times I nearly giggled, mostly because of the dialogue, but also the writing as a whole. Many times it felt more silly than it did anything else.
All that being said, this was not a bad book. It was vaguely interesting, with some unique bits here and there that I enjoyed. I did, after all, rate it a 2, and not a 1.
I really enjoyed this book very much, and once I started reading it I couldn't put it down.
This is by far the most interesting and engrossing novel i have read in a very long time. I love it when I find myself sinking into the story, into the characters, and that is exactly the feeling I got when reading this novel. The writing is so good that it carried me away to another place all together.
K. B. Stevens paints such a compelling picture that I felt almost a part of the scene. In fact, all of the characters are smart, edgy and real. How they fall down the rabbit hole that leads to crime and murder, so to speak, deal real issues that face men and women in every day life. The main characters, Tom, Tina and Mike don't fit the typical mold of characters found in the usual male-dominated profession of mystery crime stories, but you will find successfully crafted, believable characters who are fun to read about. They definitely have a story to tell.
The story itself is a page-turner. I would recommend this for anyone who loves a great read!
This is the first novel of erotic fiction I’ve read, and I’ve got to say I was a little sceptical. I’m a red-blooded male, but I guess reading about sex is only ok if it’s in the context of the story. This book I’m happy to say is more of a crime thriller than erotic fiction, although obviously it does contain several sexual scenes. The book starts with a couple in car and then the accident. Fast forward a few years and the intrigue of the story grows. The main characters Tom and Tina are well crafted and interesting, and the story flows really well. The author is sufficiently skilled to pull off a good story despite it being pigeon-holed as erotic fiction. I notice the book also has a clean version, and I was tempted to have a look at that too, but I think it would lose something and leave me disappointed. Overall a great read, and I would definitely read more books by this author.
This sordid little erotic noire had it all: sex, lies, kidnapping and murder. I thought the book was really well plotted with a brisk pace, realistic characters, scorching heat level sex scenes, and an ending that was shockingly satisfying. I highly recommend it, even if you have to skip over the scandalous, "naughty bits."
