Vera and her pack are ready to turn the house into a real home, but that’s not without problems…

The pack has been living in Mathew’s house for weeks, splitting their time between Mathew’s office, the garden, the bedroom and the nest. The place needs some heavy remodelling, for the people who live there now, but also for the little ones who’ll hopefully be joining them within the year.
Only, remodelling is loud and busy, which is setting everyone on edge more than usual.

Fleeing from the noise and needing to do something to keep their minds occupied, the pack visits local crafts stores, hoping it will help them relax and maybe give them inspiration for the nest or the baby room.
Of course, the inspiration’s there, so much of it that they can’t fit it all into the car they arrived in. Few people ever manage to leave craft stores with ‘just a couple of things’, and five people worth of crafts adds up quickly.

But none of those supposed ‘soothing things to do’ help when everyone is stressed out next day, waiting for the Omegas’ first sonograms…

This is the fifth out of twelve novellas following Vera and her mates in the Her Vicious Pack serial, a dark contemporary reverse harem/Why Choose romance set in a sweet Omegaverse world about a criminal found family empire with dreams of ‘expanding the family’.
This novella may include any of these steamy scenes, ‘I need tissues NOW’ moments, cries of ‘why, oh, why’ and cliffhangers that make you bite your nails (and curse the author).
This serial has MF, MM, FF and group scenes.

Layla Heart loves sexy romances and has a particular soft spot for broken boys and their damaged girls. Building Haven is the 5th novella in the Her Vicious Pack series. I adored these next steps taken by the pack and I am on the edge of my seat for all of the much-anticipated danger that is on the horizon. This installment is a little slower but shows how the pack is settling into life together and how they plan to tackle the future. As always, there’s a bit of a cliffhanger and I’m already nervous for how things will play out!

Building Haven by Layla Heart is the fifth in the Her Vicious Pack. I have loved all of them in the series. This series is such a loving, smexy series. Vera's pack is coming together nicely. Love it and can't wait for the next one!

Loved catching up with the Pack and seeing updates on their lives. Not so much violence in this one. Definitely read prior books or you will be lost. RH, alpha and omega dynamics, FF, MM, MMFFMM and any combination of this. AAAAOO.

Part 5 of Vicious pack had some good pack building and was more cozy, a nice break that had some fun scenes and some good spice.
