Devil's Obsession!

This is my first time reading an interracial romance by Sienne Vega. I doubt that I'll read another by her.

There was nothing romantic or passionate about the interactions between Portia James, the TV journalist, and Rafael Calderone the billionaire, mafia boss businessman known as the Devil. He was obsessed with her. He decided she belonged to him. For an intelligent woman, she couldn't decide whether to believe him or not. Both were irritating.

Even though their back stories were mentioned, they weren't developed. We have no idea how Rafael came from a very poor background to a mafia billionaire boss. We know that Portia and her cousin/sister, Jayla, were adopted by an older couple. Why? What happened to their parents?

The book was full of careless mistakes. It simply was a nonsensical book filled with uninspired sex looking for a story. This book wasn't just part of a series, it almost ended on a cliffhanger.

This first book in the series (Il Diavolo Mafia Series) is good even though the main female character, Portia sometimes was getting on my nerves because she would not pause in her investigating the Mafia! She ignores the danger signs, etc. Her relationship with Rafael ran hot and cold throughout the book. I understood why Rafael was trying to protect her from himself and his Mafia family. Anyway, I am reading the second book in this series and it picks up where the end of this book leaves off. Also, trying to understand the Italian spoken can be challenging! I understand Spanish but this book makes me want to learn Italian, too! Sienne Vega has written a great series!

Really good read. What game is Rafael playing with Portia? After a fantastic affair and a near death experience, he disappears from her life. Portia moves on it's for the best. Be careful what doors you open Portia- remember Pandora? There is more to come soon.

"I'm a determined man and I don't give up easily. And by easily, I mean ever."~Rafael

When I first started reading this book, I must admit, I didn't get pulled in right away. I'm not sure why, it just seemed to stall somehow. Portia James, our MFC, was introduced as well as her sister/cousin/best friend Jayla who were on their way to Sicily as winners of a contest. That was a planned start.🤔 No doubt. I liked Jayla!! She was fun, easy going, a big time extrovert. Girl likes a good time. I hope she meets her forever man too. Portia, on the other hand, she was okay, she's got some issues {{mistrust}} from her ex-husband and maybe that's why she stayed stuck in her head for far too long. For me, she wasn't assertive enough, easily swayed. I wanted her to put her foot down. Get mad. Stay mad. See what happens. She would but it didn't last very long. She's a reporter at Newport News Metro in Newport City. And while on her vacation win, she meets the mysterious, billionaire business man Rafael Calderone. He was very attractive. He watched her as she watched him. One night. One night of giving in to attraction and pleasure.🫦 What would it hurt? Then, he ghosted her.😬😬

🚩🚩 Also, be sure to check the TWs. There are situations that readers might not be comfortable with.🚩🚩

Almost 2 yrs later, Portia was about to run into a very familiar face, the new owner, her boss, of the small news station. You guessed it! The sparks are still there along with anger.😡😡 And so was the back and forth of trust me, believe me, I won't lie to you... ever! Riiight.😆😆 I'm calling a big pile of bs on that one Rafa!!hehe Now here's the thing, Portia was not a top investigator like say the Dateline team, but she wants to be. And a drug war was about to choke her city. Capos, want to be or otherwise, are fighting for territories. Especially the devilish legend of Italy, Il Diavolo. You've heard of him, right? Well, you're about to. He's badddd. Real bad. A monster. Probably. Especially with that mask he wears.👿 The torture that was his basement.🧰💀🪚🛠️🪛 You know, mob men doing what they do best; proving a point.🙊 A new special kind of drug was about to circulate. And Portia, geez girl, she thinks she can spy and lurk, but she always needs help.😨🤦🏽‍♀️ It always blows up in her face. Be smart. Not extra. Stop what you're doing. She was always thinking, but not during those situations.🤪🤪🧨🧨 The story was picking up. The world building was forming. Secrets were brewing.

Did I mention the spice? B/c Rafael and Portia couldn't get enough of each other.🥵🔥🥵🔥 There's also a cliffhanger. But I knew that going into this series. I liked Rafael, but dude, the twisted lying game he was playing, the obvious gaslighting makes me pause. The devil has feelings. Deep ones that have been feeding him and his obvious obsession with Portia for awhile. But his need for power, control, that mask, fights for first place in his life, his soul. Who will win in the end? I like the book cover too. Ms Vega definitely wrote a high stakes game that has only gotten started. Can't wait to read what happens next. Happy reading.*•>§<•*❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹

🤵🏻💥🕵🏽‍♀️Thank you to Ms Vega and Bookfunnel for an early book. The opinions shared here are my own.🕵🏽‍♀️💥🤵🏻

Tempted by the Devil is a thrilling and passionate mafia romance that kicks off a new series. The story introduces Portia James, a journalist who, after winning a vacation to Sicily, has a steamy one-night stand with a mysterious and handsome stranger named Rafael. The next day, he vanishes without a trace. A year later, Portia's life takes a drastic turn when she's assigned to investigate the elusive mob boss known as Il Diavolo. Her world is turned upside down when she meets the billionaire who wants to buy her news company—Rafael Calderone. Portia quickly learns that the charming businessman is none other than the ruthless mob kingpin she's been hunting. The book follows Portia as she is caught in a web of passion, power, and betrayal, forced to choose between the man she desires and the dangerous truth she is sworn to uncover.

Sienne Vega has created a captivating cast of characters with a complex and intriguing dynamic. Portia is a feisty, assertive, and sometimes reckless investigative reporter, a perfect match for the morally gray and dual-natured Rafael. Rafael is the ultimate alpha hero—a charming lover and a ruthless mob boss, making his motivations a constant source of suspense and intrigue. The narrative is fast-paced, full of thrilling twists, and keeps the reader hooked from the first page. The chemistry between Portia and Rafael is palpable and explosive, driving the central conflict and the undeniable attraction between them.

The plot is a well-crafted blend of action, suspense, and steamy romance. The theme of "fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me" is at the heart of the story, as Portia grapples with her desire for a man who has already betrayed her once. The novel explores themes of power, loyalty, and the dangerous line between love and obsession. As the first book in the Il Diavolo series, it masterfully sets the stage, leaving readers with a cliffhanger that will have them eagerly anticipating the next installment. The story reads like a high-stakes streaming series, making it an immersive and addictive experience.

Spice Level: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

This book is very explicit, intended for mature readers. The romance is full of passion, spice, and steamy scenes that serve to highlight the intense chemistry between Portia and Rafael. The intimate moments are frequent and contribute significantly to the development of their complex relationship.

I'm giving this book a 3.75 out of 5 stars. It's an excellent start to a new series and a great choice for readers who enjoy high-stakes, thrilling romance with a dark edge. I would highly recommend this book to fans of mafia romance, complex characters, and plots filled with suspense and passion. This is a must-read for anyone who loves a good "devil in disguise" story.

We meet Rafael/Il Diavolo and Portia, the two MC of this story. Portia presents as a strong willed, ambitious and determined black news reporter fighting her way to the top, by any means necessary. She meets the mysterious, charming, generous billionaire, Rafael, that is so taken by her. They have a wonderful night during a dream vacation until he abruptly disappears. When he reappears a couple years later, he has to work hard to win her back. I love that we see a FMC that knows her worth and she is not blinded by the charm and wealth of the MMC so easily. We see Rafael have to work for her while still being the ruthless, mysterious, Il Diavolo whose reputation proceeds him but remains anonymous to all but his inner circle. I enjoyed the storyline that has started to unfold with the two main characters. Pros: loving the courtship and seeing whats developing between Rafael and Portia as they both have realistic relationship hang ups, trust issues, etc; also topics addressed: life after divorce, challenges with endometriosis, adoption, and the mob life. The pacing of the story was great, lots of spicy scenes. And while I love the main characters, Portia came off as reckless. She was a good FMC that is a match for Rafael in some ways, but also a big liability. You see Rafael being thoughtful, calm under pressure, and deadly, but he takes calculated risks that make sense in his line of business. Portia seems to take reckless, ambitious risks for her career with no thought of consequences...her family, coworkers, even herself be %amned. This is probably a good depiction of how some news reporters are "doing whatever it takes to get the story" and probably how some of them die. There are still some mysteries about Rafael's past and what's going on with the mob side. Feels like some trouble is coming Rafael's way. We can see there is more story to come, but I am hoping Portia can chill out a bit. She reminds me of Delphine from her Roses series. I give it 3.5-3.75...Good first novel, but looking forward to the rest of the story.

Fool Me Once, Shame on You, Fool Me Twice, Shame on Me
Sienne Vega gives her loyal readers another examination of the duality of human nature😊. In Rafael Calderone we get a morally gray character who has dark tendencies but tempered with goodness, the reputation for being a savvy businessman AND the ability to love with great passion. Tempted by the Devil is the first book in Ms. Vega’s new series, Il Diavolo Mafia. For most of the book, Rafael’s motives and intentions are murky. We know that he has strong feelings for Portia James, but lives his life cloaked in shadows. On the other hand, investigative reporter Portia lives life in the public eye. She literally has nothing to hide and has vowed to uncover the secrets of others! When she met Rafael in Sicily, Portia did not easily succumb to his charm and allure. However, once she allowed herself to be vulnerable, Rafael disappeared from her life as easily as he entered. Understandably upset, Portia resolved to move on from Rafael, after all he is on the other side of world, right? A man like Rafael, with undetermined wealth and power, can take any steps necessary to invade Portia’s life, the real question is will he stay? Tempted by the Devil is another well crafted, multilayered book by the always entertaining Sienne Vega, her books have complex characters, involved in intricate dynamics. I found Rafael to be particularly intriguing because his motivations are unclear, he seems absolutely smitten by Portia but his apparent solution to problems is to walk away. Readers are surely speculating about the complications that would make him leave his “dolcezza”. I have no doubt that Portia and Rafael will reconnect again, but I think he is going to really have to grovel for a second “second” chance.

This book was like a mystery to me, although it didn't have that tag, but I was curious and found it weird that the female lead won a trip to Italy and then the behaviors of the people in the town just seemed odd.

Portia is a a news anchor and researches for stories, so I just knew she was going to reveal this "act." But, alas, she does not.

Rafael fell for Portia, years before when seeing her on a news segment. BUT, she was married and he didn't make any moves, but he still watched from the shadows. He made his move after her divorce, I still think he had something to do with that, however this is just my assumption.

Rafael meets her on this "won" vacation and they have a fling. This man then leaves with no note or letter explains why. A year later he pops up as the purchaser of the newstation where Portia works.

Portia makes it difficult for him to come back in her life. He doesn't give up, right....only for him to do what, yeah leave again. Portia relocated and the books ends on a cliff hanger.

I hope the follow-up explains how he pulled off this "won" vacation. I want her to block him at all turns, for playing with her emotions. So much happened in between what I mentioned in this post, so, I really dislike the character Rafeal on Portia's behalf....smt.

Tempted by the Devil, Book 1 has a bit of everything: drama, action, suspense, heartbreak, lots of twists and turns and spicy romance. Rafeal (MMC billionaire businessman and a powerful mob boss, Il Diavolo) was smitten from the get go and he is obsessed with Portia (MFC). Portia is an investigative journalist who met Rafael on vacation. After an unforgetable night together in Sicily, Rafael disappeared without any explanantion. A year later them met again in Newport. This time Portia is investigating the Mafia operations in Newport and she is looking for the the mysterious and evasive Il Diavolo. When she got too close to Il Diavolo, she was redirected (to a new job) without her knowing it all whilst she is falling for Rafael.
Rafael is a mystery and there is more to him than meets the eye. Only time will tell who he really is. I love the other characters in this book, Jayla, Portia's adoptive sister, Adagio and Maurizi (the bodyguards of Rafael) who seem to have a story of their own.
Book 1 ends on a cliffhanger. I can't wait for Book 2 to see if Rafael and Portia will find their HEA. I received an ARC from the author and I am voluntarily leaving a review.

The ever caustious Portia decides to finally let her hair down while on a vacation to Sicily with her sister. In doing so she meets and falls for Rafael who is a local with a lot of power.

The trip does not end well and Portia returns to the USA heartbroken especially as she is newly divorced.

A few years pass and she is aquainted with Rafael again when he becomes the owner of the news station where she works as a reporter After some back and forth they become a couple again. Portia is always looking for a story and something just do not add up with Rafael. Rafael is leading a double like as a legitimate business owner and a mafia boss.

Portia gets herself in some trouble by snooping around and Rafael has to come to the rescue.

This book will make you keep reading as there as some unexplained parts like why Rafael did not meet up again with Portia in Sicily and other information about his mafia life.

The book ended in a cliff hanger and I will definetly be getting the next book in the series to see how it ends.

Tempted by the Devil reminds me of the video/song for Every Breath You Take- by the Police. I played the song while I read. Portia has no idea that every move she makes Rafael has already been there, thought about being there and watched her.

Rafael is hot, mysterious and tempting but he almost never leaves the villain role for me because you know from the start that he is too good to be true. He loves feisty and decisive Portia but seeks to control her and guard her. Portia removes her doubts and let's go of bad past relationships to be with Rafael but at one point he says it is funny that she thinks she still has a choice in the matter and that their fate had been decided a long time ago. I like the slow build into the characters' lives, and I love the fast-paced combustible nature of Portia and Rafael. I love how he is all in with his love and was invested before Portia even thought about him, but I do not like his pattern of deciding for her and leaving her. They should not work but I want them to get their happy ever after.

I can't wait for part two - Deal with the Devil. I received an ARC copy of book one and I hope I get one for book two as well.

I had high hopes for this book, but honestly, it falls flat.

Rafael's character is interesting ... he's a billionaire, a Mafia boss (he does refer to himself as the Cosa Nostra), and a man full of deceit, lies and ambition. There isn't enough of his background story in this book to be honest, but I don't believe he's the actual villain in this story.

Portia, the FMC, is a nauseating character. For an intelligent woman, she is really quite stupid. She works for this small-time news network yet races around like she's trying to break stories for a Pulitzer Prize. I didn't find anything about her character endearing ... she's always in her head, and it's just fodder for her character at this point.

That said, the relationship between her and Rafael is really forced by the writer. There is zero chemistry on these pages ... the smut is lackluster ... Rafael is obsessed with her and does what he does to protect her (he says) but really he's protecting himself as he doesn't want his true identity revealed.

The book ends on a cliffhanger, but the second book in the series is out.

Sienne Vega is the author everyone should be reading. Every time she releases a new book it’s an absolute must read. I was given the amazing opportunity of getting an ARC of Tempted by the Devil. Yes this book is mafia, but it is different and also so amazing. I love the aspect of the MMC having an alter ego. Yes they are very different but yes, they are much alike. I also loved his backstory and how he started off very rough and came into something amazing as well as something very diabolical. Portia the FMC is beautiful and amazing and as an investigative journalist, she doesn’t let anything stop her even though sometimes she knows better but goes against her gut in order to get her scoop. The other characters in this book are so intriguing that I hope we get to see more of them throughout the series especially Maurizio. There is so much action taking place in this book. There is so much romance and yes, there is so much spice and everything ties together beautifully and I cannot wait for the next book in the series. 10 out of 10 I definitely recommend this book!

I absolutely loved this book and the characters. Portia is emotionally wounded from her divorce but decides on a vacation to Sicily with her younger sister Jayla. She tries to enjoy herself but her intuition keeps warning her that everything isn't as it seems. When Jayla tells her to loosen up and Portia finally relinquishes her need to be in control and analytical, she finds comfort in the arms of Rafael.

Rafael is a dreamboat whose concern and admiration for Portia was so romantic, despite his status as mafia kingpin. He's known to be ruthless but when he and the object of his affections reunite in the States, he is determined to have her. Except now his American beauty knows exactly who he is and tries to keep her distance.

The plot was so good and kept me engrossed the whole time. Sienne's writing ability is fabulous and the characters were relatable and funny, especially Jayla. The spice had an intimate vibe and Rafael's attention to Portia's needs was so well-written. A really good mafia story.

eArc review:

Tempted by the Devil introduces readers to Portia James on a surprise vacation to Sicily with her sister after winning a contest. Portia is newly divorced and looking to just have fun and enjoy herself. But she's caught the attention of a well known and powerful local, Rafael Calderone.

Their encounter was intense, passionate and unforgettable but then he ghosts her.
Moving on with her life and her career back home in the states, the pain from him disappearing hasn't completely faded away. Things get even more complicated when the very man in question shows up at her job, proposing to be her new boss. He still wants her, but at what cost?

Tempted by the Devil delivers on the danger and high stakes that come with being connected to the Italian Mob Boss, Il Diavolo. As the story progresses, readers, like Portia, will realize just how many dangerous people are living in Newport City.

Portia's heart and career are on the line navigating Rafael's persistent flirting and she can't help but question his motives as they reconnect.

And while I found Portia's character to be likable, honest, sincere and friendly, her stealth skills left a LOT to be desired.🫣🫠 Since she's still a newbie at investigating journalism, I'll give her a hall pass this once🤣.

Her moral compass guides her through life and she stands firm on justice and against corruption. And as powerful as she can come across, Portia's ex-husband has left her with a lot of self doubt.

Besides Portia, her sister Jayla is the next most likable character in this book, in my opinion. Their relationship and bond is solid and supportive. And there wasn't much else in their scenes that made me feel like I needed more context.

Rafael on the other hand? He might be the original mold for "morally grey" character. I can't say for sure of my theory on his character and just how deep his "alter ego" goes. But he's definitely more on the grey side. He did a lot of things I didn't expect or like just for the sake of being and staying in Portia's orbit.

I would've found this more compelling if he hadn't been trying to have his cake and eat it too. But Tempted by the Devil isn't about any kind of redemption. So, again just a personal opinion on his character. His obsession and devotion to Portia is so strong and intense that their paths will always remain connected.

But I wonder if there are more details of Rafael's past that we'll learn from the rest of the series.

What readers should know going into this book:
1) It's book one of a new series. So, not all the problems and challenges that develop in the story will be resolved.
2) Ends on a slight cliff hanger.
3) Rafael is a billionaire: I know how it sounds, but mob boss I can get behind and forgive but we all know no one becomes a billionaire ethically.
4) FMC is a endometriosis rep

A good book 1 that leaves you curious about the story's progression in book 2. I can't say this was my favourite Sienna Vega read, as it took me more than halfway through the book to become excited about the story, which is why I only rated this 3 stars. I like Rafael more than I liked Portia which is odd as I usually prefer the FMC and find the MMC to be a little more replaceable. The opposite is true here, and I would've enjoyed Rafael with a more grounded(?) partner. I actually found Portia to be incredibly annoying, I genuinely think she's the reason I can't give this book a higher rating. The whiny, girlboss, intelligent, badass, ignoramus type of female character has to be the type I loathe the most, and this is exactly who Portia is. All-in-all:

Plot: Excellent

Spice: Sizzling

Rafael: *chef's kiss*

Porta: beautiful gowns

From the jump, this story pulled me in. I needed to know what was going to happen next. And Portia? Whew. I wanted to throw my tablet at her more than once. She’s supposed to be strong-minded, but some of the stuff she did? Outlandish. I get that her job made her nosy, but she needed to be nosy with caution. If it could go wrong, it went wrong—for her.

Now, Rafael Calderone, that man, walked a razor’s edge. One minute, he’s sweet and romantic, the next, he’s dark, dangerous, and giving off serious stalker vibes. I kept wondering if he had a personality disorder or just a twisted obsession with Portia. The author did a good job of keeping me guessing. I even returned a few times to ensure I didn’t miss anything.

Together, Portia and Rafael burned the pages. Their chemistry was fire. It was the perfect romance—until it wasn’t.

Overall, I'm giving this a solid 4 out of 5!

I absolutely LOVED the main character, Portia. She's not your typical virginal and slightly naive romance lead. This lady is strong, career-focused, with razor-sharp journalist instincts, and she knows what she wants from a man. She also doesn't put up with being mistreated, and it takes lots of grovelling for the MMC to get back into her life after he messes up a little initially. Overall, though, he's a strong character who shows he truly cares for Portia throughout the book.

The first part of the book moved quickly, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm knocking one star off though, because I found the middle was a little slow-moving and dragged on.
The book ended on a bit of a cliffhanger, but I'm fairly certain the next book is coming out soon.

OMG! This book Il Diavolo Mafia Series Book 1, A Mafia story that had you wanting more. The story was written well and the characters were amazing. This book was about Rafael Calderone and Portia, Raphael had been watching her and has his men following her. He is a handsome billionaire and the next mafia heir, he lives in Italy and comes from the most powerful crime families in Italy, he organise tickets to be delivered. Portia was stund, she won a trip to Sicily all expenses paid. She needed a holiday, a break from her schedule. The trip turned into something totally unexpected, meeting a gorgeous Italian Stalion she had a one-night fling and she was fine with that, but the secrets of not knowing who he is gave her a sense of mystery.

Tempted By The Devil is book 1 in the Il Diavolo Mafia series and is the intriguing, fast-paced, dramatic story of
Rafael Calderone aka Il Diavolo and
Investigative reporter Portia's story. A one night stand changes the course of everything for Portia when her one night stand turns out to be the very powerful mob boss she just happens to be investigating.

"The deeper I fall, the closer I get to the truth.
And the more I wonder if the man I can't resist......
is the devil I've been chasing all along."
Things get just as chaotic for Rafael as they do for Portia. They're both in deep and neither of them want their path to be any different. These two are combustible together and their journey is consuming. Tempted By The Devil is a must read!

This story had more twist and turns than Spaghetti Junction and I loved it. I'm used to the mafia books that Sienne Vega writes but there was something decidedly different about this one. The exotic locations, daring suspense, exciting and intriguing plot, and extra spice ticked all the boxes for me. I was reeled in from the moment Portia James meets the mysterious and enigmatic billionaire Rafael Calderone in Sicily. I stayed up until the early hours of the morning to finish this book and it was worth every hour of deprived sleep.
The book ends on a cliff-hanger, with a whole lot of questions still unanswered but book two in the series is promised and I'm sure it will be worth the wait.

I was given an ARC and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review.

I’m just saying

Oooooo, I’m just saying . This book is definitely fiya… from the first page to the last. Even the way it’s written, is like watching a series on any streaming platform or cable network.

Some say that good books provide a mixture of real issues and fantasy. Well this book does just that. The relationship between Portia and Rafael and the their chemistry is bringing some serious heat and makes them even more relatable.

I’m DEFINITELY looking forward to reading Deal with the Devil.

Any opinions, recommendations, or suggestions expressed within this review our Solely and uniquely made by me. I originally and voluntarily had received in advance copy of this book via Bsprout.

I don’t think there has been a Sienne Vega book i didn’t like. She is an auto-buy kind of author, and since I adore a mafia romance, Tempted by the Devil was perfect for me. The story quickly hooks you in. Portia, the FMC, is a relatable character. I loved the representation of endometriosis and the realism Portia had to face while living with it. Rafael’s darkness and mysterious ways are conveyed well. In addition to all the sweet things he does for Portia. The cliffhanger is a bit angsty, and I’ll have to wait for book 2. There is a sneak peek at the end of the book, but I skipped it as I did not want any spoilers yet.

Such a good story! Portia can't believe the amazing man she met while in Rome. It turns out, he was too good to be true. She's an up-and-coming reporter with stories to write. Portia's go-getter attitude is refreshing! She's ambitious and fearless in her pursuit of the truth. Portia didn't know that the amazing Italian man she met was going to become part of her recent investigation. Rafael has never felt anything like what he feels for Portia. He's moved mountains to bring her back into his life. I enjoyed Rafael's character. He showed himself to be compassionate with Eleanor while maintaining his ruthlessness in business.

My first Vega story! Absolutely not my last, and I am definitely going to st@lk her backlist! I

want a trip to Italy! OMG!

Book 1 in the Il Diavolo Mafia series has me hooked but the characters, Portia, her sister, Rafael have me entranced!

Rafael.
What can I say but that I swoon for bad boys, and he is BADDDDD!
Or is he GOOD!? LOL

Portia's a good girl.
Can she be with this bad boy?
Well if she can't, I will. LOL again!

Dying to know if their one-night-stand will become more!

I'll wait impatiently for book two!

Wow, I loved that our heroine Portia has imperfections and realistic struggles as a woman. Rafael fell first, before she even knew he existed. I enjoy a hero who goes after who he wants with tact and with stealth. That's Rafael. Together, Portia and Rafael are steamy.

I'm also interested in Jay's story, secondary characters were on point as well. This story kept my interest. Will wait to see what's next.

First, I want to say the cover was enough to give it 5 stars. But, this book was also so freaking good. Oooooh I really really enjoyed Portia and Rafael. I enjoyed how gentle and receptive to her he was. He was also very loud about what he wanted and he wanted her. Portia was more cautious because she’d dealt with a divorce from a terrible man. But when she finally opens up to Rafael, she suspects that he has a secret, and a big one it is.

Sienne Vega, you deserve all the awards because you can NEVER miss.

Sienne Vega ~ Tempted by the Devil
The plot, twist, turns, action is amazing This book was amazing. I definitely cannot wait for the next book in the series. Sienne we need more OTT books like this any book that comes with this many triggers I’m down with. 👏🏾
This book definitely is worth five stars 🌟 but then I shouldn’t have expected anything less after reading The Gangsters and Roses Series by this author.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Readers Copy of this book from the author.
Portia is an investigative journalist and went to Sicily for vacation. There, she met Raphael, a billionaire businesses and mob boss, also known as Il Diavolo. They had a steamy encounter but Raphael disappeared the next day and Portia returned to the U.S afterwards. When Portia met Raphael again years later, she was shocked to learn who Raphael really is. This book ends in a cliffhanger and will be continued in the next book. Can't wait for the next book!
