really regret not being able to see it performed live – that's why I'm grateful I could at least experience it through the script. This high-octane play does an excellent job of presenting the world of brutal politics, negotiations, and the hidden influences over such fragile matters as scientific consensus and climate change. This is the kind of smart theater I'm glad exists, serving as a sharp commentary on the world we live in! + it was absolutely brilliantly written too.
‘Perhaps the cherry blossoms will go on arriving earlier with each passing year, but at least the winter of 1997 proved that humankind still possesses the resolve to make visible efforts for an invisible threat, and to slow, ever so slightly, the looming advance of climate change.’
