Sincerely, Mr Braden is the second book in Melissa’s series, The Bradens at Ridgeport, which interconnects with other series’ that also bear the name ‘Braden’ within it. Each book in this series can be read as a standalone as each are released, but will connect and relate to others within the series, possibly referencing characters from said other Braden series', as well.

At first, the connecting family tree and series' may look daunting because there are so many books, families and series' now, but fear not. Here is a quick breakdown that I also included in my review for book one in this sub-series, ‘Playing Mr. Perfect.

Every book Melissa writes automatically falls under one big romance collection name called 'Love in Bloom’. Within that collection falls a number of sub-series', for example this series name is the sub-series name. Under each sub-series, is the title of each book that follows a set of main characters. Head on over to Melissa's website for downloadable reading orders, maps & checklists.

If you would like to keep it simple and just check off each standalone book or read in a sub-series, that is also an option.

Now though, it's time to acquaint ourselves with a the next Braden that got his own book. Get ready, he’s more than keen to meet you!

Seth Braden is a savvy, pleasure-orientated billionaire is and this by way of his nature, he is prepared to handle everything—or rather, his his virtual assistant—that life throws at him with calm, calculated and cautious steps forward. Cue the shock of a lifetime, his, to be exact, that caught him unaware, unprepared and made him unsure of what to do next as he finds himself battling against what his head and his heart are both telling him.

Before that bombshell moment however, let’s go back to the beginning…

At the chance of for the first time during their business relationship that Seth has to meet his mysterious, unidentifiable Virtual Assistant he only knows as “Taylor”, he jumps on that chance. Fast. What he finds on the island that “Taylor” is supposed to be on, much to his pleasant surprise, is “Taylor’s” undeniable beautiful sister, ‘Ellie’.

In an instant, his entire world shifts the moment his eyes laid upon her.

Their introductory meeting was only supposed to last for the briefest of moments. Instead, it turns into something more. For the rest of the weekend, Seth and Ellie spend it together getting to know one another, making unforgettable moments and memories that neither saw coming but now holds close to their chests.

Considering all that Seth has done for his entire life when it comes to people—keeping them far at bay—, walking away from them as unscathed as possible, he finds it utterly remarkable that one woman, one incredible woman, has stumbled into his life and shattered every wall he’s ever built, into complete oblivion.

That is not the only thing that is about to be shattered, as we’re back at the bombshell moment that it all goes up in flames.

Betrayal is one of the only things that cuts deeper than any knife ever could, which is exactly what it’s doing to Seth after he learns of the lie that Ellie spoke to him. Does he still want her despite his newfound knowledge of her lie? Yes.

Smooth does not their path of love make…

Melissa has once more managed to make me fall both deeper and harder in love with both her writing and the character she’s written about, all thanks to Seth and Ellie’s story. Without question. I’ve yet to read a book of hers that I haven’t loved, but every now and then one always rises to stand above the rest and I wholeheartedly believe that this book right here is one of them.

Seth, despite all of his personality traits, quirks and elements that define him, is the biggest green flag-come-golden retriever energy I’ve seen in a main male character in a long time. It’s also an added perk to his character that he loves to read—always an attractive trait in men be they real or fictional. In this case, it’s obviously the latter. His first in-person meeting with ‘Ellie’ is nothing short of hilarious—written in top-tier form by Melissa, of course—, oozing with that instant chemistry and attraction—teamed with the comfortable ease that two people who are meant to be just naturally have—that we love and crave to read about. This is a man who saw Ellie right away. The real her. The true her. He just saw her, seeing as hearing the things that she doesn’t say aloud, which little to no one has been able to do, which of course only earns him more points for being observant and aware, both. These things only stand on the tip of the iceberg of everything wonderful that is Seth Braden, but to find out what else I noticed—and noted down—about him, you’re going to have to get to know him and this story yourselves, in order to find out.

Ellie, well, she simply defines the word ‘relatable’ and how some of us as readers—speaking about myself—can relate to her. This doesn’t happen with every main character, or every female main character, but Melissa has that knack to make every single main character—sometimes supporting one’s, too—relatable to someone in some way. For me, it was two key things. One, how she cares for her aging father. As a former carer myself and how the real-life implications, worries, effects of caring for someone we love, the relatability was there for how we can both love someone with our whole hearts, but feel the full weight of their care on our shoulders. This part of the overall story was evidently written with great care and respect, which I fully appreciate. Two, her anonymity. Choosing to mask herself as a man for her safety and protection? Smart. It also gives her a level of freedom that doesn’t come with putting out full, real identities out there. Other than Melissa’s intended reason for attaching this to Ellie, it also shows that you don’t always need to be fully seen to do great things.

Combine these two, the supporting—and sometimes scene-stealing side characters—, their world and everything around them, and you’ve got an unforgettable story that will stick with you long after you’re done reading it. One that you will find your mind wandering back to on occasion, mentally revisiting scenes or remembering lines that stood out to you. Which is exactly what it’s done with me. The amount of times I’ve thought about Seth, Ellie and their story? I can’t even begin to count on both hands.

Especially the kitchen scene where Seth—ahem—‘eats out’ with Ellie. Kitchen counters haven’t looked the same to me since that moment and I am NOT complaining about that. Neither am I complaining about just how d.i.r.t.y this Braden boy can actually be. If there’s ever a fictional man that real men need to take notes from when it comes to giving pleasure to their ladies? It’s Seth Braden, ladies and gentlemen.

More future main male characters like him, Melissa. Please and very much thank you!

If you’re looking for a read that boasts and executes pleasure and romance while also showing the letting of people into your inner circle, opening your heart to love, opening of your eyes, overcoming guilt, telling of truths, caring for others as well as the worlds most unique asking of a hand in marriage that only the main male character in this story could do? Then this is most definitely the book for you.

It’s definitely one that I am planning to add to my books to collect to go on my shelf—as this was an e-ARC read—, and put on my Audible wish list to come back and listen to when I am able to. There are some scenes that I simply must have crooned to me in my ears. Privately. For my own pleasure.

I'm very proud to not only have this as my first Melissa Foster read of the year, but the first one from her to make it onto my top reads list of this year, too. It’s more than earned its place there.

Here’s to Seth, Ellie and Melissa and a read that has shot high up into my list of all-time favourites she’s created. Cheers!

I think I’ll just re-visit that kitchen scene one more time before bed, if you all will excuse me just a moment…

Oh Seth!!! Come here, big man!

I waited a year for Seth’s story and of course it didn’t disappoint! When does Melissa ever disappoint? Amirite? Now I am patiently waiting for the audiobook version so I can binge-listen to Clay & Seth back-to-back! #winning

I love how every story Melissa writes just drags all kinds of emotions out of the reader whether they like it or not! I always feel a complete spectrum when I read her stories. This story was mostly joy but it also got a little gut-wrenching, which made complete sense because of both Seth & Taylor’s personal histories.

I loved their “break-up” and their reconciliation, and I especially liked that this story wasn’t written carrying Taylor’s “secret” forever and ever. Another reason why I love Melissa! She just knows how to write fiction with realism. AND I love that they caught feelings in a couple of days because, even that made sense for them!

I’ve said this before (like a gazillion times lol) … Melissa Foster is an author that needs to be on everyone’s radar. There is a story she has written for everyone. Her talent holds no bounds! #trust

Melissa Foster always delivers a swoony, easy to read story, and Seth Braden gave me the escape I was looking for.

I loved so much about this book, the mistaken name, and it’s consequences. Taylor could be anyone, she is relatable, perfectly imperfect, and genuinely cares for everyone in her life. As the truth comes out, things get messy.

While both characters fall hard, it takes a bit to work through baggage on both sides. The story gave me a warm hug, and a smile.

Thank you to the Author for the advanced copy; this is my voluntary review.

I went into this expecting a light, fun read—and that’s mostly what I got. A little swoony, a little messy, and surprisingly emotional. Not a book that completely lived rent-free in my head, but one I genuinely enjoyed.

The setup is clever and charming. Seth has been working with his assistant, Taylor, entirely through emails and texts—and he has no idea that Taylor is actually a woman. When Seth offers his assistant a week off at his vacation home Taylor almost doesn’t go—she’s spent most of her life taking care of her ailing father—but she finally chooses herself. What she doesn’t know is that Seth plans to show up. When he does, she panics and claims she’s Ellie, Taylor’s sister, and just like that, they fall into a whirlwind weekend romance full of chemistry and unexpected feelings.

Taylor isn’t perfect, and she knows it. She feels guilty for lying, but that guilt made her feel more human, not less. She had spent years silently caring for others, finally allowing herself a chance at something she’d secretly longed for, and it all went a little sideways. When the romance started to feel real, she couldn’t continue the deception and removed herself, breaking her own heart in the process.
After the truth comes out, she writes an email to Seth—part apology for lying, part resignation. It was heartbreaking but honest. She needed to protect herself from staying in a situation that was hurting her, even if it meant walking away from someone she’d cared for deeply. That moment really landed for me; it wasn’t drama, it was self-preservation.

Seth falls fast, which leans a little insta-lovey from his side, but it works because Taylor has been emotionally invested in their connection for years. Once he processes everything, he realizes that Taylor gives him something he’s never had before, and from that point on, he’s fully in.
Ellie carries a lot of emotional baggage—being abandoned by her mother and living in constant caretaker mode—but Seth brings light into her life, showing her how to take risks, trust herself, and heal old wounds. Some of the dialogue felt a little rehearsed at times, but the emotional beats landed.
The warmth of Seth’s family adds a lovely balance. Seeing them welcome Taylor so openly—especially his mom stepping into the space her own mother left behind—was a sweet, grounding touch that made the story feel full and complete.

This was my first Melissa Foster book, and the bigger series world with all its side characters did make things feel a little chaotic, but it didn’t stop me from enjoying the story. Overall, this was a solid, heartfelt read. Not unforgettable, but warm, emotional, and satisfying.

I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.Sincerely, Mr. Braden proves the wait for Seth’s story was absolutely worth it. The author blends vulnerability, humor, and a clever twist on hidden identity to craft a romance that feels genuine, heartfelt, and impossible to put down.

Ever since Seth Braden first appeared in the earlier books, Ive been waiting for his story. As with the author’s other novels, I expected a fun yet emotional journey, and she absolutely delivered.

Going in, I already knew Seth had been working closely with a virtual assistant everyone assumed was a man. This installment flips that expectation perfectly. Not only do we learn that the “guy” is actually a woman, but she’s also the person Seth would fall for.

Taylor has been working for Seth for years, and over time she developed a crush on him. She never expected to meet him in person, so keeping her real identity hidden felt safe. When Seth rewards her dedication with a weekend stay at his vacation home, she sees it as a chance to unwind, not as the moment everything will unravel.

But Seth, eager to finally meet the “guy” who has kept his life running smoothly, shows up unexpectedly. Caught off guard, Taylor introduces herself as Eleanor—her own “sister.” From there, everything becomes even more complicated. Feelings start to build between them, unexpected, intense, and impossible for her to ignore.

The true test came when the truth came out. Seth must confront the shock of Taylor’s deception, while Taylor faces the consequences of her choices. Whether they can overcome that moment becomes the emotional heart of the story and one of its most satisfying turning points.

In the end, Sincerely, Mr. Braden delivers exactly what I hoped for. Heartfelt emotion, genuine character growth, and a romance built on both vulnerability and hard-earned trust. The author balances humor, tension, and tenderness so well that Seth and Taylor’s journey feels both believable and deeply satisfying. This review was originally posted on Totally Addicted to Reading

Melissa always writings incredible stories filled with emotions, intense chemistry, and the slow burn is always on point. Sincerely Mr. Braden had hold up to my expectations with Taylor and Seth. Seth is the workaholic always busy and filled with new ideas. Taylor is the one that holds everything together as his Virtual Assistant. So when Seth surprises her at his vacation home while she was on a little getaway, she kind of leads him to think she's someone else. An easy task since Seth thinks Taylor is a man. I found Taylor a bit frustrating with this part since she had so many opportunities to confess, but I completely understand her why. I truly don't blame her.

Melissa always writes emotions like that are real, tough, yet understanding. Seth and Taylor realize they have something real. So they try again. They have a friendship that they built for almost a decade and the found family they each from each other is just so sweet. The love from Seth's mother that helps Taylor find her own healing and Seth's bond with Taylor's dad helping them enjoy their hobbies together. Both of the little moments that Taylor and Seth share are sweet and special. The small things that were just for them like yelling across a bridge or a note in a bottle.

Sincerely, Mr. Braden is the 2nd book in the Bradens at Ridgeport series. You can definitely read this one as a standalone though. This was a sweet romance between a billionaire and his virtual assistant.

Seth Braden offers a week off to his virtual assistant, Taylor, at his vacation home. He thinks his assistant is actually a man, but Taylor aka Ellie did that to protect her identity and business. She is shocked when Seth shows up during her stay and she freaks out, claiming to be Taylor's sister, Ellie.

Taylor has been crushing on Seth for years since they have been communicating through texts and emails. They have an immediate connection and their chemistry is off the charts. Things heat up between them fast, but they also open up on a deeper level. Unfortunately, Taylor has lied about who she is which left Seth feeling betrayed.

I appreciated how this lie wasn't dragged out for too long and how they worked through it. However, since it was resolved so quickly, halfway through the book, there was not much more angst or conflict for the rest of the book.

Seth Braden is a billionaire dedicated to being the go-to person for his extended family, but lost especially his siblings. He keeps himself at arm’s length from everyone else and is an unapologetic workaholic. He’s been extremely reliant in his virtual assistant Taylor for years, and he assumed Taylor was a male.

A romantic and sexy weekend in Bermuda with Taylor’s ‘sister’ Ellie leaves Seth emotionally inside down when she leaves early. The real shocker comes later when Seth learns Ellie’s true identity and it’s not Taylor’s sister, but that she’s really Taylor.

The story is a little messy, fun and has a lot of interesting interactions with both Seth and Ellie’s family. Both Ellie and Seth have deep emotional scars to work through, but after realizing how much they love each other they focus on being together as much as possible. Seth is a sexy nerd, and so devoted to Ellie. Definitely a little swoony.

Taylor Mitchell has been working as Billionaire Seth Braden's virtual assistant for several years and has had a crush on him just as long. In order to protect herself, Taylor portrays herself as being a man and Seth has no way of knowing otherwise since they've never met. Rewarding Taylor with a free weekend at his island home, Seth decides it's time to finally meet the elusive Taylor. What he doesn't expect is a beautiful woman occupying his home. Surprised to see him, panicking Taylor introduces herself as Taylor's sister Eleanor. Seth instantly feels comfortable around her and lets her see the real him and not the billionaire workaholic. Taylor accepts a dinner invitation with Seth and this is the beginning of a whirlwind weekend. Strong feelings begin to develop between them but the guilt is to much for Taylor and she leaves the island early without any explanation.

When Seth tracks her down to return her sketchpad, they are so excited to see each other again but when Taylor finally comes clean about her identity, Seth is so angry that he storms out. A few weeks pass and Seth is missing Taylor so much, he goes to see her again and the rekindle the magic they had on the island. This is the beginning of their HEA.

I absolutely love Seth and Jordan!

When it turns out your virtual assistant isn’t a man, but the woman where you spent the best weekend ever with, Seth’s world is turned upside down. And when he realizes he could loose her forever, he gets his things together and chases after her.
Taylor has her own family issues, her father is ill, and she doesn’t want to be far away. But she’s had a crush on Seth for a long time. So, when Seth offers his virtual assistant a getaway to one of his houses, she never thought he would show up there. And that’s when her survival instinct stook over, because she couldn’t tell the truth.
They both fall hard and fast for each other, for Seth, it took a bit longer to realize he had already fallen in love.
Their story is heartwarming and in perfect Melissa Foster-style.

New to me author. More emotional than I expected. The blurb intrigued me and the cover image hooked me. Sadly the actual story fell flat at times.

Seth is an overachiever cinnamon roll hero. Taylor (Ellie) carries a great deal of unresolved feelings and heartbreak at being abandoned by her mom. Together they make a sweet couple with plenty of steamy moments. The angst & drama is resolved in one chapter, maybe two. Loads of side characters and family members to keep track of, I didn’t feel lost, nor drawn in to discover more about them.

I liked it, not loved it.

When Eleanor "Ellie" is offered a week of relaxation at her client Seth's home, she takes him up on it, not realizing she'd come face to face with him for the very first time. She uses a different name in her business life, thanks to a horrible previous incident with a client, and knows Seth thinks she's a man, a friend actually. But when he walks into his home and she sees him for the first time, she's so flustered she blurts out a lie, and sets the stage for lots of drama when he inevitably finds out her true identity. Will their instant connection be enough to overcome her lie?

Seth has always kept people at a distance. Oh he loves his family, but he lets very few into his heart, the better to keep from being hurt. Then he meets a beautiful woman, one he thinks is his virtual assistant's sister, and keeping her at a distance is the last thing he wants. He's never connected with someone as strongly as he has with Ellie and he's not about to give her a chance to walk away from him. Except, there's the tiny matter of her true identity - one that can break his trust.

I always say it's not possible to love Melissa's writing more, but with each story, I fall in love even harder! Seth is quite possibly the sweetest, kindest and most swoony of all her heroes. He's so gone for Ellie, even when he finds out who she really is so there is very little angst over her lie. And speaking of Ellie...that poor woman, she was so damaged by her mother's abandonment that she didn't even realize how it affected all her decisions, decisions that were to her detriment sometimes. I wanted to give her a big hug, but it wasn't necessary because Seth gave her everything she could possibly have wanted and needed. This pair is so heartfelt, has so much delicious chemistry that I just wish I could read a whole series about them.

I absolutely loved Sincerely, Mr. Braden: Seth Braden by Melissa Foster; it is an incredible love at first sight/he falls first love story. It is the second book in her The Bradens at Ridgeport series, it hooked me from the start, and I fell in love. Melissa Foster continues to prove that she is an amazing storyteller and continues to be a must-read author for me. I love that Melissa Foster continues to write the books that I love to read. I was hooked from the first few pages of Sincerely, Mr. Braden: Seth Braden, it was impossible to put down and I loved every moment on every page. It was one of the most enjoyable books that I have read recently! Who does not love hot sexy men, strong females, loving families, and friends, who always support one another. Sincerely, Mr. Braden: Seth Braden is the story of Taylor Mitchell, a Virtual Assistant, and her client, Seth Braden, owner of BRI Enterprises, a multibillionaire-dollar retail conglomerate. Seth believes that his virtual assistant is a male named Taylor Mitchell. They have never met and all their communication is through text or email. In reality, his virtual assistant is a female named Eleanor Taylor Nunnally, who goes by Taylor Nunnally. After an incident with a prior client, Taylor decided to use a male persona Taylor Mitchell, LLC for safety reasons. Seth gives Taylor an all-expense paid, work-free vacation to his home on Saint Aurelle Island in the Caribbean. Seth unexpectedly shows up at his home on Saint Aurelle and surprises Taylor while she is in his house. She tells Seth, that she is Taylor’s sister, Eleanor and Taylor is at home sick, so took the trip instead. Seth calls her Ellie. As Ellie and Seth spend time together on Saint Aurelle, things quickly heat up between them. I love everything that Ellie and Seth do together on Saint Aurelle, especially the limbo. I love the chemistry between Ellie and Seth. Conversation between Ellie and Seth flows so easily, with innuendos and playful banter, and Seth constantly flirting with Ellie. I love that they share secrets with one another, that they had not shared with anyone before. Especially when Ellie tells Seth a secret that she has never revealed to anyone. I love the heart-to-heart conversations that take place in this love story, especially between Taylor and her sister, Becca and her father, and Seth with his siblings, parents, and grandparents. I love that Seth admits how he now understands how his siblings could fall in love quicky. This leads to Ellie leaving Saint Aurelle, returning home to Port Hudson telling Seth that her father needs her, he suffers from Multiple Sclerosis. Ellie left her sketchbook that she uses for her other side job. An unexpected plot twist occurs when Ellie tells Seth the truth about her identity and puts their relationship in jeopardy. I love everything that Seth does to show Ellie how much she means to him and everything he wants to do to have a life with her regardless of where. I love that he finds the secret location from her childhood, leave their own messages, and admit their feelings for one another at the same time under a covered bridge. Another plot twist threatens their relationship. I loved that Sincerely, Mr. Braden: Seth Braden is more than just a romance, there are dilemmas that both Ellie and Seth are facing that need to be resolved. I love how the storylines get so beautifully resolved. I love the changes that both Seth and Ellie make in their lives so that they can have a life with one another. I love the heart-to-heart conversations in Sincerely, Mr. Braden: Seth Braden. I love everything that Seth does to plan and execute his mother’s gallery opening for her photographs. My favorite part is Ellie's scroll jar I love Seth and Ellie ’s love story and the perfect ending of their love story. I LOVE Seth’s proposal in the epilogue, and how he incorporates their relationship into his proposal. It was the BEST proposal that I have ever read! I love how Melissa Foster always manages to create the "perfect" heroine, who is a strong, sassy woman on her own, to balance out the sexy, swoon worthy man. I really enjoy how the book is told from the perspective of the main characters. I love getting the insight and feelings from the different characters. Sincerely, Mr. Braden: Seth Braden is filled with heartbreaking and heartwarming moments and all those things that we have come to love and expect in a Melissa Foster love story, especially with the poignant and bittersweet moments, plot twists, and surprises that filled this page turner. I love the characters and the family dynamic in Sincerely, Mr. Braden: Seth Braden. The characters feel like family and friends. I love that it felt like a family reunion and loved catching up with the characters from Melissa Foster’s other series. I enjoyed all the interactions between the Braden siblings; it feels like real family love and makes me laugh at their teasing and I love all their pranks. I loved all the characters in Sincerely, Mr. Braden: Seth Braden, and the descriptions of the Saunt Aurelle and Port Hudson settings. I felt like I was there exploring Saint Aurelle and the cave with Ellie and Seth. I am looking forward to reading more books in this series. Who does not love family and friends that always have each other’s backs? I thoroughly enjoyed Sincerely, Mr. Braden: Seth Braden. Highly recommend this incredible love story. Finally! I’ve been waiting just about a year to read this! It was worth it but I wish I was able to read it sooner. This book brought all the swoon, longing and romance I’ve felt has been missing for a while. At first Seth’s sweet words and lines were too cheesy and it sounded like he was trying too hard but at the same time it didn’t because these were truth bombs from him and strictly Seth. My issue was that men do not talk like this nor will I ever see this happen. It will happen in my dreams and fantasies. I guess that’s what the movies and books will do, make you believe that this can happen. Regardless, even though I swooned and loved what he was saying, I also wasn’t completely sold on it because I live in reality but it was nice to escape that for a while. I love how authors can dream up these perfect men and make you believe in the impossible. This book just felt like a beautiful escape so no complaint there. Another thing this book did was showcase the time Taylor and Seth spend together getting to know each other, have deep conversations and believe in the magic of places, nature, people and traveling. In the moment I was reading all this, I had thoughts where there was too much talking and not enough action but after reading this book, I feel like this is what got Taylor and Seth to fall in love. They legitimately got to know each other the way I was taught to do it, face to face and not behind a screen. It was refreshing and I loved how present both Seth and Taylor were in the moment. There was rarely any distraction with work, phone calls or emails. Regardless, this is how they’ve always communicated, since the plot is that Seth is falling for his assistant this whole time and without knowing who she really is, thinking his assistant is a man. This probably has something to do without the use of a screen because he isn’t working and didn’t need his assistant because he was facing her directly. Seth wasn’t like any billionaire I’ve read before. He didn’t act like this hot shot CEO or person who was busy and didn’t have time for indulgences or family. In fact, he didn’t spend his money on toys or things billionaires would normally spend money on, except for a plane but he can fly it himself. He was easy going, laid back and knew how to hold it together, compose himself and stay calm even when Taylor leaves out of the blue and with no explanation. Plus he was very active in knowing how to do everything and is a man of many hats. He can fly a plane, helicopter, maneuver a boat and survive in nature whether it was being stranded or for exploring. To put it simply, he is the dream man. The one who can do anything and isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty doing it. I say he isn’t your typical billionaire I’ve read about because he doesn’t dictate to others what he needs or leans on staff to fly planes, cook, or drive him around though sometimes that’s good too. He’s like this type of man who is worth billions but when you meet him he doesn’t act like it. What I loved about this book is his carefree nature, ability to separate pleasure from work and when to take a break and when to continue. He’s also loyal, reliable and smart. It’s been a while since I read a book about this type of hero. I’ve read ones where the hero is easy going and has the same demeanor as Seth but nothing yet where this is his whole persona and the need to know how to do everything and use of other skills. Taylor was a little neurotic in not wanting to leave her father by himself and him for refusing help, but that gets explained near the end and then it all started to make sense to me. In closing, I really enjoyed reading this story. It was nice having Seth and Taylor start their relationship so quickly into the book and early on too. It was refreshing having Seth not immediately feel the need to hold her at arms length considering how they meet under the circumstances and the fact that he doesn’t know she’s been his assistant all these years. There was heart, steam, emotion and intensity with promises of forever within two days of getting to know each other. This has only been the second hero I’ve read about that fell immediately and is the second one that wants to make it work. It is also the second one where the hero is the one talking about being official and scares the heroine away. Overall, it was so feel good, gave me the fuzzies and got me believing in magic for a brief time. It was nice getting put in that state of mind while reading this. I can’t wait for Noah’s story which is giving me vibes that he will be just as open to love and maybe even more daring than Seth? I guess time will tell. It will probably be a while until I find out though which is going to suck.

"My angel. My goddess. My best friend. My everything."
Very few authors make me feel the way Melissa does with her characters. This is romance at its purest, packed with real moments and a lot of emotion and swoon.
I dare you not to fall for Seth!

"Seth Braden is here, and Lord help me, he’s even more handsome in person. He’s bigger, broader, his dark hair even thicker than it looks in pictures, his jaw stronger and scruffier."
Seth Braden is a workaholic billionaire, always juggling different things. The one person who makes all of it possible is his assistant, Taylor, someone who’s been handling his things for years. His buddy Taylor. The one he texts in the odd hours of the morning and who is always there.
Except… Taylor is a woman. She has her reasons to keep a male persona for work, and since they don’t actually have to meet for her to do her job, it just works.

"I know he feels safe because I’ve technically known him for years, but there’s nothing safe about the way being close to him makes my entire body tingle and burn."
So, what would happen if they actually met face-to-face? Maybe during an island getaway Seth gives Taylor as a bonus for all “his” hard work, which Seth just so happens to crash?

"I’m no stranger to wanting women, but this is unlike anything I’ve felt before. It’s not just want. It’s a firestorm. The kind of attraction that leaves a man two choices: fight it with everything he has, or get scorched."
I’ll tell you: chemistry, and lots of it. Taylor’s seen him before, in magazine covers and photos, but he hasn’t, so it’s easy to tell a little lie and pretend she’s Taylor’s sister. Don’t judge her—for the first time, even with everything going on in her life, Taylor is letting go. She is choosing herself for once.

"Why is it that every time we dance, even the music fails to exist?"
If this was only physical, she might get away with it unscathed. But Seth says and does all the right things. He opens up to her. He shows her things he’s never shown anyone else and introduces her to people who mean a lot to him.
He brings the swoon and makes her feel things she’s never felt before.

"Sounds like you’re rootless. That’s probably why you’re single."
"Maybe. Or maybe I just haven’t found someone who makes me forget what day it is."
"Have you ever forgotten?"
"What day is it again?"

Things start to get very real, though, and Taylor knows she needs to cut her losses and go. She knows she’ll have to go back to being Seth’s buddy, and although it hurts, she’s willing to do that.
Until he tracks her down and she has to come clean.

"I’m a master at walking away and never looking back. You’re the first person who has ever made me want to stay."
If there’s one thing I love about Melissa, it’s the way the people in her books communicate. Of course Seth would feel betrayed, which is only human. Of course Taylor herself is hurt by the whole thing.
But they both realize they found something most people can only dream of, and they know they can’t let each other go.

"It’s a feeling I have when I’m around her. Like the whole damn world makes sense, and it wouldn’t matter if it didn’t, as long as she’s with me."
From then on, we really get to see the way they connect and support each other in every way. They’re hot together, but it’s easy to see the love between them and also how that love is stronger because it’s rooted in friendship and trust.

"Nobody has ever tried to make my wishes come true before, and here you gave me something I didn’t even know I was wishing for."
Found family, as usual, has a big part in this. Taylor has family issues to work out, including some in her past, and her father is going through a rough time so she needs to be there for him. A lesser man might give up, but Seth wants to help and be there for her at every turn, and his family welcomes her with open arms. It was beautiful to witness.

"A young girl’s wishes. I hear with a little magic they just might come true."
"Are you calling me magic, sweetheart?"
"No. I’m calling us magic."

All the moments between them felt special. There’s a couple of surprises coming from Seth that really brought an “Awww” out of me. And—no spoilers—his proposal may just be one of the most original but also one of the best I’ve read.
It fits him, and them, to a T.

"Two paths crossing, looping back, locking into something unbreakable. That’s us, sweets. You and me, locked in forever."
This story was all about finding the right person. The one who chooses you and who will change their life to have you in it simply because they love you. The one who chooses to make your wishes come true—and probably does it without even trying.

Sincerely Mr Braden is book 2 in The Bradens at Ridgeport series and follows quirky business mogul Seth Braden as he unknowingly falls for his virtual assistant Taylor.

Seth is one of five siblings who were raised unconventionally. Raised in the wild, changing locations regularly, never staying put for very long has caused Seth to not build relationships except with his siblings. Even as a child, he was the one who planned everything to a tee. He was the one who his siblings came to when they needed to talk something out or needed advice. He has built an empire but not any permanent relationships.

Taylor is the younger sister, but she is the responsible one. As a child she dreamed of traveling the world. But her dreams were shattered when she was 12. She grew up quickly. She is the one who takes care of her father, making sure he eats and takes his meds. She never takes time off or does anything for herself.

Taylor works as a virtual assistant for Seth. She has been working for him for a few years, and this year she works exclusively for him. He has so many projects that he needs someone full time to manage all of them. They have never met each other. Everything has been done via email or text messages.

So when an opportunity arises for Seth to finally meet his man Taylor, he surprises him at his island beach house. But Seth is the one in for the surprise.

When she receives a surprise visitor to Seth's island home, Taylor introduces herself as Taylor's sister, Eleanor. She has not used this name since she was 12 years old and her entire life changed. But how does she explain to Seth that his man Taylor is actually her? So instead she decides to be someone else.

But she never expected to fall for Seth in such a short amount of time.

How does she explain who she really is? She has been lying to him. One thing Seth does not tolerate is liars.

When the truth comes out, as it inevitably will come out, Seth will be hurt. His trust will be broken. He is not one to trust easily, so this will be a blow. But good ole Gramps will be there for him and give him some sage advice and some tough love.

When Taylor, who goes by Ellie with Seth, decides that she has done too much damage and has to move on and no longer work for Seth, her heartfelt letter to him will spur him on to make decisions in his life. His talk with Gramps has been on repeat in his head, and now he must act in order to win the girl he was meant to spend his life with.

But Taylor has issues of her own to work through. It will take a complete breakdown with her father for her to realize she has work to do on herself before she can ever think of making a relationship with Seth work.

There are so many memorable moments in this story. But my favorite was when Taylor and her dad have their confrontation. As someone who deals with multiple chronic illnesses, I feel his need to live life to its fullest. To push his limits and live each day as if it could be his last. And for him to finally verbalize that to her is important. She needs to understand why he is always pushing himself and going against everything she asks of him.

The time on the island is special. Seth opens up to Ellie and introduces her to Missick, one of his only friends from childhood. To trust her with this relationship and stories of the past is important to him.

I love that Seth teaches both Taylor and her dad how to cave. He takes into account the need to go slow for her dad, but also challenge him. For the first time, we see her dad be honest with Seth when he has hit his limit. It is bittersweet, but also empowering. Her dad trusts Seth and so does she. She knows Seth will make sure her dad is safe, but not coddled. It is an important moment in this story.

Seth is all about adventure and making Taylor's dreams come true. He stops at nothing to find the one place she has always dreamed about.

So many adventures in this story and here is to so many more to come for these two.

This was an amazing story of withheld identity – and the Bradens! We have met Seth in several previous stories and know him to be a brilliant, witty and wonderful guy. He has his fingers in many pots and keeps on track with the help of his assistant Taylor. Taylor has been Seth’s long time virtual assistant. They have never met nor spoken. While Seth assumes that Taylor is his ‘good buddy T’, a guy – Taylor is actually a woman! They meet and Taylor is afraid to reveal her identity to Seth so she claims to be Taylor’s sister, Ellie. She had no idea that her little fib would turn into a big deal as they grow closer and passion ignites. They have a wonderful few days together but the guilt is killing Ellie so she leaves with no warning.

When Ellie finally reveals her identity to Seth, of course there is some drama, but he is quick to put it behind him as he realizes that she gives him something he’s never had before. From that moment on, he is IN. Ellie carries a lot of baggage from her childhood due to being abandoned by her mother, so she has serious trust issues. She lives a fairly secluded life to protect herself but isn’t truly living. She has a world of responsibility on her shoulders by caring for her ailing father which keeps her in place and justifies her not really living. Seth brings life to Ellie by showing her how to take a few chances, trust herself and him, and heal old hurts.

The chemistry and friendship between these two is STRONG. There’s no drama or craziness, just true deep feelings for one another and fighting for more. The depth of emotions for many characters in this story is real. I absolutely LOVED the relationship between Ellie and her father – ultimately Seth and her father too. I really loved the caving scene and especially Seth and Ellie’s dad. Knowing her dad needed to do something adventurous for his emotional health, Seth was a rockstar helping to give dad a special memory. I also loved the hint of a relationship for Ellie’s dad! Seeing the spark come into his life while battling his health issues was rich.

I also LOVED the relationship and talk that Seth had with Grandpa Braden. Hearing Gramps give Seth advice and watching Seth take so much of it to heart was heartwarming. You can tell why the Bradens are so special by seeing Gramps and Gram and how they are still so relevant in everyone’s lives. All the Bradens are fantastic and I loved seeing them all but the Gramps and Seth dynamic this time was truly special.

Ultimately this story is about trust, love, hope and belief in wishes. Watching Ellie and Seth find all these together was emotionally satisfying. Their journey to HEA was real and beautiful. I’m loving these Bradens and a bit sad that there is only one left, but so excited for Noah’s story! (Have you seen that cover?? 😉)

This is the second book in the Braden of Ridgeport series, and honestly, Melissa Foster just owns my heart. I’m a full-on mood reader, yet she remains one of my ultimate comfort authors because she always speaks directly to my reading soul. No matter what kind of slump I’m in, her stories feel like a warm hug I didn’t know I needed.

We first met Victory in Flirting with Trouble, and now it’s Seth’s turn… and I was gone from the start. Seth runs a multibillion-dollar retail empire, but he’s also thoughtful and ridiculously swoony. Seth works closely with his virtual assistant, Taylor Mitchell, through emails only, which makes their connection feel intimate before they've even met.
When Seth surprises Taylor with an all-expenses-paid trip to the Caribbean, the story shifts into full romance-perfection mode. Because... When Seth walks into his villa expecting to meet the 'MAN' he’s worked with for years, he's shocked to discover a stunning woman in a bikini? Yas!.
From that moment on, the chemistry is undeniable. Their banter is flawless — playful, flirty, and effortlessly natural — the kind that makes you smile like an idiot while reading. Seth is the ultimate book boyfriend: hot but tender, confident but kind, powerful yet deeply caring. He definitely brings the swoon.

As I adored them together Taylor’s secret had me on edge....
She’s been hiding her true identity the entire time, and the weight of that lie brings in just the right amount of angst. When the truth finally comes out, the tension is real and heartfelt and Seth’s response was top tier. Understandably hurt and shaken, Seth still reacts with maturity, compassion, and emotional intelligence. No over-the-top drama, just honest feelings, space to process, and a genuine desire to understand. It was so refreshing.

Taylor is such a beautiful, relatable heroine. Her strength, vulnerability, and devotion to her family made me love her even more. Watching her and Seth work through the truth and choose each other felt genuine, emotional and incredibly swoony.

And of course, the Braden family shines as always. Supportive, loving, a little bit meddly, and full of warmth, they add that signature Melissa Foster comfort that makes the series feel like coming home.

Melissa Foster delivers yet another romance that is cozy, emotional, and completely binge-worthy. This book gave me all the feels and reminded me exactly why I trust her with my reading heart every single time. Even as a mood reader, this was a no-hesitation, completely adored read. If you love billionaire romance with found-family vibes, elite banter, and a MMC who will live rent-free in your head, do not miss this one.

💌 Sincerely, Mr. Braden: A Billion-Dollar Betrayal and the Ultimate Reveal!

Good morning! It is always a treat to dive back into the Braden world, especially when it involves a business-savvy billionaire getting the shock of his life. Melissa Foster has crafted a "fun, sexy ride" that proves even the best-laid plans are no match for a Braden in love.

💻 From Virtual Assistant to Reality
Seth Braden is used to being in control. He’s spent a lifetime keeping people at arm’s length, relying on his ever-efficient virtual assistant to keep his life running smoothly. When the chance to finally meet the man he’s talked to for years arises, he jumps on it—only to find the beautiful Eleanor "Ellie" Mitchell standing in his place.

What was meant to be a brief meeting turns into an unforgettable weekend that obliterates Seth’s walls. However, the magic they make together is threatened by the truth: Ellie has been the one behind the screen all along. For Ellie, those years of conversation only made her fall deeper in love with him, but for Seth, the revelation makes more waves than a hurricane.

❤️ The Allure of a Braden Man
Seriously, how do the men Melissa Foster creates keep getting more sexy and desirable? While Treat Braden was your first Braden love, Seth is a powerful contender for the top spot! I loved watching him grapple with the "betrayal" of his own assumptions. The chemistry here is electric, fueled by years of intellectual connection that finally explodes into physical passion.

✨ Why This Story Hits the Sweet Spot:
The Big Reveal: The "he is actually a she" trope is handled with so much heat and emotional weight.

Deep Connection: Because they spent years communicating virtually, their bond has a "hidden depth" that goes beyond the surface.

Vulnerable Alpha: Seeing a billionaire who usually walks away unscathed finally meet his match in Ellie is incredibly satisfying.

The Braden Magic: It has all the heart, family loyalty, and steam we expect from this legendary series.

My Final Verdict
Sincerely, Mr. Braden is a masterful exploration of truth, trust, and the beautiful mess that happens when secrets come to light. It’s sexy, heartfelt, and proves that love doesn't need a formal introduction to be life-changing. If you love a hero who learns that the best things in life can't be scheduled, this is a five-star must-read! 💌🔥✨

Reasons I enjoyed this book:
Family Friends Community Romantic Witty Great world building Happily Ever After Page-turner Easy-to-read Wonderful characters Entertaining

Well if you're already a Melissa Foster fan you'll love this book. If you're not already a Melissa Foster fan you will be. It may be just my imagination because Ms.Foster has never been shy about sexing up her stories but it seems to me that recently with each subsequent book they get steamier. I mean there's so much sex in this story between Seth Braden and Taylor Mitchell you may need asbestos gloves to hold on to it. Please allow me to moralize on the subject of sex in contemporary romances for just a minute. There's scene in this book where Taylor's older sister Becca and Becca's boss Audrey assure her that there's absolutely nothing wrong with having a steamy one night stand with a stranger. Really? Is that where we are with sexual morality in the 21st Century? Where it's fine to have meaningless sex with someone you may have a momentary physical attraction to but no desire for anything more than a one time roll in the hay? Where the intimacy of sex is little more than that of a handshake? It's not a lesson I want my granddaughters to learn and ironically even when a relationship starts that way in a CR story it always ends with the two people falling in love. Which is another thing that bugs me just a little about this story specifically and CR in general. For some reason it is an unwritten C.R. rule that no matter how much sex the protagonists have in these stories, no matter how much time they spend enjoying each others company in and out of bed, they're not allowed to say "I love you." until near the end of the story. In this story its clear that there is more than a physical attraction between Seth and Taylor. It goes on for months. They even acknowledge to family members that they are in love with the other person. But both are afraid to say those 3 little words to each other. Okay it serves to build the excitement to that pivotal moment at the end of the story but at the same time I don't believe its a very realistic interpretation of real life. I mean I just don't see a couple that are obviously as in love with each other as Seth and Taylor within a day of meeting each other, that spend so much time together in private and social setting, waiting months to acknowledge their feelings for each other. Okay, I'm done with my little rant.
Bottom line is I found these book a great read. Seth and Taylor are wonderfully characters as are their family members. Their banter is witty and sometimes sexy. The story has enough drama not to be a non-stop sappy love fest. Just a really good book, Enjoy

This might be Melissa's spiciest book I've read, I mean the pages were on fire *fanning myself*.
I loved this story soooo much! You know one of those books where you just simply fall in love because you can feel all the butterflies in your tummy while reading it.
Seth Braden is a unicorn. Just perfect. He is a restless, workaholic but so dedicated in everything he does. His heart is so big and always puts others 1st or make their life just as good. He also owes a lot of it to his Virtual Assistant Taylor, his buddy T. And he might finally get to meet this guy after so many years.
Taylor has been gifted a weekend away at Seth's Caribbean place. She is very excited for a break (Oh yes Taylor is a woman haha). She goes by her middle name because of security reasons. Don't worry you will find out.
I loved Ellie aka Taylor. She was equally passionate and a carer. Her life is about work and taking care of her dad, who suffers from MS. I did like how Melissa was spot on how someone struggles with chronic pain and how it's hard to give in to it too, I can relate.
She also is very careful with her heart and has left behind the girl who believed in wishes and dreams. I also loved her loud sister Becca.
So while she is enjoying her 1st day on her break she was not expecting the man she was crushing on from behind the screen to turn up. But he is expecting Taylor the guy, so she becomes Taylor's sister Eleanor.
These 2 had instant chemistry and the way the connected and just fell into this fling was so easy. They're both so similar and genuine good people. I was smiling through all the activities and fun they were having. It was so lighthearted and just beautiful. We got Spice from quiet early on and I was all for it ☺️.
But as feelings develope quite quickly, Guilt gets Ellie to leave without explanation.
I have to admit I cried during the confrontation, my heart hurt for both of them. But don't worry, it was worth it.
What will Seth do when he finds out the truth? The only people they both have let in and now they may be destroyed.
My goodness me, the things Seth does to bring all her wishes to come true was more than swoony. Can I please have my own Seth Braden?? Haha.. Oh and I think his proposal might be the best proposal I have come across. Kudos to Melissa.
There is sensitive subjects, so check TW.
As always, their siblings banter is great and I love how close they all are yet all different.

SINCERELY, MR BRADEN is the second instalment in Melissa Foster’s contemporary, adult BRADENS AT RIDGEPORTS: SETH BRADEN erotic, romance series, a part of the author’s numerous interconnected LOVE IN BLOOM series. This is billionaire businessman Seth Braden, and virtual PA Ellie ‘Taylor’ Mitchell’s story line. SINCERELY, MR. BRADEN can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines and series is revealed where necessary.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Ellie and Seth) SINCERELY, MR. BRADEN follows virtual PA Ellie ‘Taylor’ Mitchell, as she comes face to face with her client Seth Braden. Billionaire Seth Braden has never met his virtual PA Taylor when he extends an invitation to spend a few days on one of his properties but the arrival of his assistant’s sister Ellie finds our hero looking forward to more than a weekend away. Several days together ends with Ellie ghosting the man with whom she was falling in love, running away with a secret she was struggling to reveal.

The world building focuses on the building relationship predicated upon a lie. Ellie is not whom she claims to be, and Seth is falling for a woman he knew nothing about.

The relationship between Ellie and Seth is one of immediate attraction but Ellie has a secret, and once revealed, Seth struggles with the perceived betrayal from the woman with whom he is falling in love. Their time together is full of laughter and fun but Ellie begins to doubt the reality in the face of her own lies. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

As per Melissa’s style of writing, there is a large ensemble cast of colorful and energetic secondary and supporting characters. We are introduced Ellie’s father Frank Nunnally, and her sister Becca, as well as Seth’s large extended family and friends including Clay and Pepper Braden, and their brother Noah.

SINCERELY, MR. BRADEN is a story of secrets and lies, betrayal and heart break, family and relationships, forgiveness and love. The character driven premise is captivating and inviting; the characters are animated and determined; the romance is seductive and spicy.

Romantic, captivating & entertaining

Oh Melissa Foster, what did you do to my heart? SINCERELY, MR. BRADEN, The Bradens at Ridgeport #2, was a passionate, romantic, heartfelt story which was captivating and entertaining. Through Melissa's beautiful storytelling I fell hard for her amazing characters and their journey to love. Never have I been let down by a romance from Melissa, and SINCERELY, MR. BRADEN was no different.

Seth Braden is a workaholic, nerdy billionaire who relies on his virtual assistant, Taylor, to keep his life organised. They have shared a romance for the past few years, though they have never met. When Seth surprises Taylor with a weekend holiday and then turns up to surprise him, but the surprise is on Seth. Instead of meeting Taylor he meets his "sister" Ellie instead, well that's what she has told him. Ellie Nunnally has worked as Seth's assistant using a male persona mainly for safety purposes. She has had a crush on him for years and now she needs to tell him her secret as they are falling deeply for one another. What will Seth's reaction be?

I adored Seth and Taylor/Ellie's story. Neither were looking for love, but it seemed to have snuck up on them. He was content with his life, both personally and in business. She was always the one who put others ahead of herself. The chemistry between them sizzled, their passion was intense, but it is their dates and deepening friendship which drew me to them. Their journey to happiness is not easy, broken hearts, a resignation, and miserable days, trust needed to be restored before love could be found.

SINCERELY, MR. BRADEN was a beautiful, sweet and spicy story. From the moment I picked it up I couldn't put it down, devouring every word. Melissa always delivers independent, caring women and sexy, obsessive men who are perfectly matched. I love that she always brings in other members of the family who offer much love, support and humour to her stories. This book has definitely become one of my favourites from Melissa.

This workplace romance features a heroine with a secret identity of sorts, as Seth Braden falls for Ellie Nunnally believing she’s the sister of his virtual assistant, not even considering for a second that Ellie and Taylor Mitchell could possibly be the same person. How didn’t he figure it out you ask? Well bizarrely, Seth has never spoken to Taylor on the phone or met ‘them’ in person; all of their communication being online and, as for Ellie, ever since a bad experience with a previous client, she’d chosen to use her decidedly ambiguous middle name for work purposes, never imagining her professional relationship with Seth would cross into real life. That is, until Seth offers his assistant the use of his villa and then unexpectedly turns up, only to find Ellie there instead of the assistant he was expecting and, in a panic, Ellie blurts out that ‘Taylor’ is her brother.

With a Melissa Foster novel, you know exactly what you’re in for. A compelling but still likeable hero and heroine with just the right amount of sizzle between them, strong family dynamics, and a thread of humour woven throughout the story. Sincerely Mr Braden delivers all of that in with a beautifully written romance that tugs at the heart. Seth and Ellie are both very much ‘all work and no play’ but together, right from the moment they meet they bring out a lighter side in each another. Their attraction is instant, their chemistry undeniable, especially during the unforgettable limbo-dancing as Seth teaches Ellie to get down and dirty, and it doesn’t take long for Seth to believe Ellie could be the one. Everything changes, however, when he learns she hasn’t been honest about who she is, leaving him struggling to move past her deception. Ellie’s home life struck a personal chord with me, particularly her devotion to looking after her father and having the line between what was caring and what was controlling blur especially when both were as stubborn as each other and I loved that Seth never resented that deep sense of family loyalty, but instead helped her rediscover how to simply be a daughter which only improved her relationship with her father.

I literally have NO NOTES for this book! ✨
Seth and Taylor/Ellie were a dream to read and there's nothing quite like it. Melissa puts the swoon in swoonworthy and I seriously couldn't get enough!

Seth decides to reward his virtual assistant Taylor an all expenses paid vacation to one of his houses in Saint Aurelle. When he decides to turn up unannounced to surprise Taylor, he ends up meeting "his sister" Eleanor/Ellie instead. What he doesn't know is that his 'buddy T' and Ellie are the one and the same.

Ellie's always crushed on Seth from afar but meeting him in person throws her for a loop. Seth is truly someone special and the last thing Ellie expected was a weekend fling with him. Between the guilt and her growing feelings for him, she knows they could never be more.

Noone has been able to hold Seth's attention long enough, unlike Ellie. He is intrigued by her and the more time they spend together, he realises she could be the very person he's been waiting for. It's not until Ellie comes clean that it makes him question if he really knew Ellie at all. Is he willing to risk his heart over someone who deceived him or will he listen to what his heart is telling him all along?

Ellie and Seth were absolute perfection in this story ❤️‍🔥 The passion, attraction and undeniable chemistry were just 🤌🏻 *chefs kiss* Their banter was top notch and how they just clicked from the get go? Say no more! Seth seriously has no limit to his acts of service (swoon fest alert!) 🫠 and I loved how he was determined to make all of Ellie's wishes come true and embrace the person she's grown up to be. I adored them every step of the way and that HEA? Only in Melissa's books will you find something so special like that! 💗😍

And can we just take a moment to appreciate the immense family love in this book? The banter between the siblings and their other halves were everything... be still my heart ❤️

I simply can't recommend this book enough. This is definitely not one to miss out on!!

I have loved Melissa Foster’s books for years, and this one just might be my favorite! This is the second book in the Bradens at Ridgeport and it is amazing! Seth Braden is a quirky guy when it comes to his fashion, but he’s got a great sense of humor, a loving heart, and sex appeal for days! He may be a billionaire but he’s loyal to those around him, including his right hand man, “T”. Seth relies on Taylor for everything, even though they’ve never actually met. Seth gives Taylor an all expense paid weekend to his place in the Caribbean as a way to say thanks. Little does Seth know, Taylor may not be the man he thinks he is!

Taylor (aka Ellie) has been Seth’s virtual assistant for years and loves her job. For safety reasons, she’s always passed herself off as a guy. But she’s really a creative, funny, hard working woman who would do anything for those she loves. When Seth gives her a trip to the Caribbean, she almost says no because she hates to leave her father who she feels responsible for because of his health issues. But her sister convinces her to go and promises that she’ll watch out for their dad. So she packs her bags and heads out. Imagine her surprise when Seth comes walking into the house unexpectedly! Thinking quickly, she lies and says she’s Taylor’s sister, Ellie, and Taylor is home sick. It doesn’t take her long to regret that decision.

While Seth and Ellie only have a few days on the island, they have the best time together. While Seth doesn’t know the true identity of the person he’s with, he knows Ellie better than just about anyone else in her life. You can’t help but fall in love with Seth and Ellie as a couple. They are absolutely perfect for each other! The way they love and support their families. How they both do the best they can to look out for those around them. You just can’t help but fall in love with them both! Add in Ellie’s grumbly father and the sweetest foster dog, and you’ve got the perfect story! You have got to read this!!!

Sincerely Mr. Braden by Melissa Foster
The Bradens at Ridgeport

~ Billionaire and his Virtual Assistant have never met and when they do, a secret almost prevents their happily ever after ~ Another excellent addition to the Love In Bloom novels ~

What I liked:
* Seth Braden: billionaire, diversified businesses, excellent at all he does, talented, intelligent, enjoys reading, loves his family, believes Taylor is a male, falls hard for Ellie when they meet
* Eleanor Taylor Nunnley: Virtual Assistant, artist, organized, volunteers at dog shelter, loves her sister & father, has trust issues, crushed on Seth for years, falls hard when they meet
* The instant chemistry between Seth & Eleanor, the way they eventually communicate honestly, openly, and maturely, and how perfect they are for one another
* Learning why Seth and Ellie avoid commitments and how they eventually overcome this issue
* Becca: Ellie’s sister, also a virtual assistant, more open than her sister, wears interesting vintage style clothing
* Frank: father of Ellie and Becca, left by his wife, a bit grumpy, has Multiple Sclerosis
* Seth’s family: catching up with some of them, finding out how wise his grandfather is, the gallery opening that the family makes special for their mother
* The helicopter ride Seth takes Ellie on and the site he takes her to that includes something she heard about when younger and never knew if it was real or not – mystical and moving
* The caving adventure that Seth, Frank and Ellie go on
* That I became invested in the characters and would like to be their friends
* Wondering about whether or not Becca might show up again and who she might end up with
* All of it really except…

What I didn’t like:
* Frank’s wife who was unworthy of the family she had and left a lot of pain in her wake
* Having to say goodbye to the characters

Did I like this book? Yes
Would I read more by this author? Definitely

Thank you to the author for the ARC – This is my honest review.
