A real eye-opener about the security industry and the obstacles faced by a woman. The challenges she faced as a woman in a male-dominated field is an inspiration. Her determination and intrepid attitude inspire others to continue their dreams inspite of the struggles, making her a settler. In the book her personal life, childhood incidents, challenges of life and security industries politics all are briefly written which is very motivating. This book is not just about protection but it’s about overcoming societal stereotypes and showcasing that women can flourish in any field. The journey of her life whether Protecting a Bollywood actress from a persistent stalker with deadly intentions, Safeguarding a criminal lawyer who was receiving threats from powerful adversaries, Handling security in male-dominated environments, proving her potentiality and professionalism time and again all the challenges controlled by her commendably. 'The Protector' when I first came across the title it seemed like a fictional read where a woman is a bodyguard and the plot will be revolving around some mystery case, murder or thrill. But it was a surprise to me that this book was a real story...yes it was a real story and it was very inspiring and motivating.
This book is inspired by the story of Veena (our protagonist) and a beautiful penmanship is done by Kamini Mam(author of this book) in penning down the action, thrill and most importantly the inspirational story of Veena mam.
Its a book less than 200 pages but throughout the pages the inspiration and motivation is filled in these pages. The writing is very simple and easy to read. One can easily read this book but I would suggest that you don't just read the book, feel the journey and follow your dream and passion.

Bodyguard! Whenever we hear this word the first image that comes to our mind is of a strong, rough and tuff man in some black formal suit and goggles. Isn't it??

Until I started reading this book, I never realised how beautiful the Author had crafted this book. This is a must read book for every girl who wants to be inspired and motivated, and who ever feels like getting away with any stereotypical pathetic situation. This book helps you understand that you are there for you to protect yourself as well as your family, that to being a girl, this book keeps on reminding you to be brave, fearless, independent and as a girl you have all the courage to live the life equivalent to Men!
