When you’ve dipped your toes into the dark underbelly of a cruel world, you sometimes struggle to come to terms with it.
After giving the order to have my wicked fiancé dealt with, I’m now finding it difficult to accept what I’ve done.
I find myself in the clutch of those who wish to destroy the men I’ve fallen for, and I’m thrown right into the deep end of the darkness that haunts my men.
Will I wind up just another casualty in the war between families? Or will the darkness bring out the worst of us all, including me?
When Veronica is stolen from us, our promise to keep her safe is tested, and the depth of our feelings for our little stray make themselves known.
There’s nothing we wouldn’t do for the woman who has wormed her way into our hearts, and if that means an all-out war with the Moretti family, then we’d like nothing better.
We just hope she’s not claimed by the shadows of our world, torn from our grips before we can share with her our true feelings.
We pray we can get her to safety, and if it means cutting down every last one of them, then so be it.
No one steals from us. Especially not our woman.***This is a why choose Mafia Brothers series with darker themes.***

Sometimes a girl just needs to fight off the impending doom and gloom with a little romp in mafia land. Trigger warnings for rape and ye olde pregnancy trope.
Her Wicked Men is book 2 in the Mafia Brothers series and it picked up right where the first one ended. Veronica (Vee FMC) trying to come to terms with the events of the first book but she ends up being used as a pawn in a game the guys are playing with an opposing family. Veronica's life is turned upside down by it. This series definitely kept me on my toes reading it. It's a cracking read.
It’s exciting and fast paced but a lot of errors again.
Hmm how to write a review without spoiling it. I did enjoy this one but way too many mistakes spoilt it. Veronica is having a really hard time with the guilt she feels for ordering Callum’s death. It causes her to spiral (Yet again.) and push the men away. When she’s taken by the Slade brothers enemies she realises that she loves them. Zane still hasn’t had s*x with her at this point and I’m glad, as when he does it’s brutal. Biting her, putting his hands round her throat, and this is after she’s been r*ped. Of course she would be fine with all of that! AAAARRRRFGGFHHHH!!!! 😡😡😡😡😡 Zane couldn’t possibly be gentle with her! This author is driving me insane. There’s no way that Veronica would be up for brutal s*x after what she’s been through. She has s*x with Kieron when she’s injured on her parts so why not. 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
In parts like the first book it’s quite enjoyable, but the huge mistakes see ⬆️ just ruin it. Kieron is still psychotic and imagining the ways that he’ll do his ‘art’ on their enemies. 🤮🤮🤮 Zane is still cold and icy when he gets scared of his feelings which is a lot, and Enzo is still sweet and sexy.
That leaves Veronica. Veronica who was r*ped when she younger, and then by Callum, then again later but she never needs counselling. 😡😡 She actually says at one point that she won’t allow herself to have ptsd or be be traumatised. Like it’s an option!
While it is exciting in parts it’s also really frustrating as a lot of it shouldn’t have happened. Why did they go to a safe house when they could have stayed at their dads estate which is like Fort Knox apparently?
So yes parts of it were good but really not written very well.
Why does everyone have to include their own little rape scene in every book
I get there are dark romance, but it's not necessary. And if it is going to be included, at least treat it realistically. Her insistence that she's fine grated on my last nerve. No, she doesn't know that for certain. You would think she'd be asking for STI testing immediately and a course of antibiotics or antivirals early on if the medical professional suggested they could prevent HIV or something else. Instead, the author created a scenario in which the female lead refused any medical care or sexually transmitted illness testing and then begged for intercourse despite having refused to see a medical care provider for an exam or even blood work or preventative antibiotics or anti-viral meds, before she even knew if she had a STI that she could transmit to her partner. A sex scene at that point of the storyline was disgusting to me and flat-out stupid. Having unprotected sex with a partner after being raped and refusing testing is more irresponsible, selfish, and stupid than a "good" person would contemplate. The entire scenario turned me off of the series, the female lead, this book, and the author for handling rape in such an irresponsible, unrealistic way. Either stop writing in sexual assaults, or be responsible human beings, and portray it in a responsible way.
Wow this story was amazing, first we start of with the gilt that plaged Veronica and the tough decision she had to make which realy made me feel for her character and how hard it must have been for her. Then, just when I thought things couldn't get any worse, she's stollen from the Slade compound from a rival mafia family, the Morettis who are ville and nothing like the Slade brothers. And lets just say I wouldn't want to be them when Veronica's men get there hand on then. This story has more trigger warnings and is a bit darker than last time, but luckily Veronica befriends Thomas, who's a light in all this darkness, and will help eash other and become friends. Although she had to deal with so much, i definitely think Veronica found her strength and became stronger, and I feel like she could face so much more thanks to her men Zane,Enzo, and Kieran. Who will do anything to keep her safe even tare down the city if they have to in order to get her back. I love a good story that grips your attention, and it has you wondering what will happen next . This is definitely that, and of course, we were left with a cliffhanger that will have us wanting more.
Now this book had all the action! Definitely had me hooked from the very beginning. Of course it started off with that cliffhanger from the last book. I honestly had no idea what to expect. This book was a lot darker than the first book.
The things that Veronica had to go through were so traumatic, but she definitely grew and she is so strong for surviving all of it. She honestly had no idea what she was walking into when getting involved with her three men, but it has been so nice to see her accept it and grow. I know it is hard and that is why it took her so long, but she did it in her own way and that is what matters most.
You can tell Enzo, Zane and Kieran were totally in love with her even in the first book. They were honest and upfront about what they were and what they did. Which is nice and refreshing, unlike other books where they lie to the FMC constantly and it just works against them. I think that Is why it works so well between them and Veronica, they know they fucked up in the beginning and in order to fix that they just have to be honest.
I honestly like how this book was wrapped up, but I’m excited to see what the next book has in store for them.
This picked up right where book 1 ended. Veronica is struggling with her decision for the guys to end her ex fiancés life. To clear her head she goes for a walk in the woods behind the property and of course she’s kidnapped by their enemies- a rogue faction from The Morettis, a rival family who their supposed to have a truce with. While kidnapped there’s a young guard who’s nice to her while he watches over her, brings her food, blankets etc. One of the bad guys who kidnapped her dismisses Thomas the young guard and ends up raping the h, halfway through Thomas comes back and knocks him out and saves Vee and helps her escape. He brings her back to the guys and they say they’ll help Thomas and his mom and sister escape from The Morettis too. While she’s recovering and they’re in a safe house it’s attacked by the rogue Morettis, there’s a shootout and Vee has to shoot and kill someone to save her guys. Then at the end she’s staying at the Slade compound with her men and she gets sick and they say maybe she should take a test… aaaand another cliffy ending
Multi PoV Why choose with no mm Mafia Fmc is kidnapped and sexually assaulted Touch her and die 💀 No owd Cliffhanger

Her Wicked Men is the second book in the Mafia Brothers Series. It is a dark, why choose, mafia romance with a terrific storyline and plenty of action and steam. There are trigger warnings, so please check and heed those.
Veronica has a lot of character growth throughout this book. She is really put through the wringer in this one, both emotionally and physically. She also has to come to grips with a few pivotal issues that she needs to learn accept, or walk away.
Kieran, Enzo, and Zane have a huge problem to deal with, The Moretti’s! There are also some revelations about one of the guys that makes things even more intriguing.
This is a fantastic second book. It is exciting, entertaining and impossible to put down. The writing, pace, flow, characters, character development, relationship development, storytelling, storyline, and world building are all terrific.
I would definitely recommend this book. I am absolutely looking forward to the third, and final, book in this series.
Vee is a strong has been broken but survived only to be broken in a completely different way
Her men are as diverse in their personalities, Moody, Anger management classes needed and totoally obsessed with their little stray. The Author does a fantastic job of giving each character a distinct voice and backstory, making the interactions and growing bonds between them feel genuine and compelling.
What sets "Her Wicked Men" apart from other books in the genre is the authors ability to balance the heat with heart. There are also some graphic trigger scenes so please do not subject yourself if you have any issues around R@pe. or fund the chapter and skip it as you can totally enjoy the book with out reading that section. That said the scene has its place and is well done and well followed through on.
I voluntarily reviewed "HER WICKED MEN" you'll be just as hooked on this story things happen, angst kidnapping by rivals, danger, suspense, intrigue, action, twists that make for quite the page turner. Kieran, Enzo & Zane's promise to keep Veronica safe has been tested by the Moretti family kidnapping her to get up them, getting her back could mean an all out war which their gone with if it means saving her she wedged into their hearts. I definitely recommend to get this gripping story will Kieran, Enzo & Zane be able to save Veronica before their dark dangerous world takes her away from them it's a must read to see what happens. I'm so looking forward to the next book in this series "HER DEADLY PROTECTORS" to see where this all goes. "NO ONE STEALS FROM THEM ESPECIALLY NOT THEIR WOMAN" I LOVED IT 🖤 🖤 🖤 🖤 🖤
*RH *Contemporary *Multi-PoV *Mafia *Touch her and ☠️ *Insta-love *Rescue *Abusive past *established harem (3) *fast burn *2/3 Engaging story Picking up immediately after the first book you’re immediately thrown into Vee’s angst of dealing with the decisions she’s made! Her men show their genuine emotional sides with the fear that it will be enough to push her away from them 😣 it all comes to a head though when Vee goes missing and it’s due to the turf war between these brothers and their enemies 😬 again you see their dedication to their girl and their realisation that they’ve fallen head over heels for her 😍😍 the lengths their willing to go to to save Vee show the love ❤️ yet it drives the question further as to whether she can forgive them to bringing her into the middle of their mafia mess 🙁 I really like the emotions you get in this book and you clearly get the “who did this to you” and “touch her and ☠️” vibes! Please do pay attention to the trigger warnings in this one. Looking forward to how this is going to develop with the surprise at the end of this one 😆
‘My life had changed so much in such a short time, but this, this was too pure and perfect. The way I felt for them was something I couldn’t deny anymore. I wanted this. I wanted them, and I would accept the risk that that came with. Because it was beyond worth it.’
Veronica finds herself abducted by the enemy mafia in JE Cluney’s Her Wicked Men, book two in the Mafia Brothers series.
What constitutes evil? Vee see a side of her men that she knew they tried to hide from her, but comes out as they fight to get her back, to make their family stronger, but especially to make up for the hurt that has been inflicted on her. These behaviors of Made Men are not a surprise, but something she must come to terms with if she decides this is her new life.

I loved how this continued straight where we were left in book 1. This is a dark romance why choose book which is second in the series and it just keeps getting better. My heart broke for Veronica in this. She's a hell of a lot stronger than she gives herself credit for. Knowing shes been through everything in her past then she finds herself in another situation where it's a fight for survival and her men are furious to the point where they are ready to burn the world down for her! I love it! I absolutely cannot wait for the next book! I can't wait to see what they get up to next and how they are continuing to grow their relationship and navigate this new reality.
This book was action packed from start to finish. It starts out right where book 1 ended, with Veronica making some important decisions that she needs to learn how to live with. Along the way, we meet a few new characters, and I have to say that I absolutely adore Thomas. I really hope we get to see more of him in the next book! It was nice to see Vee struggling to accept things rather than just automatically being okay like so many other books do. You really get a sense of her internal struggle and the constant battle of knowing what this kind of life entails. And that ending? That’s really setting us up for some interesting times. I can just see Kieran, Zane and Enzo being 10 times more protective after everything that has gone down. Can’t wait for the next!
This book picks up right away and moves along quickly. It kept me invested and I didn't want to put it down! Filled with action and suspense, spice and so many different emotions. Veronica went through some dark moments in this book. We really start to see her strength and growth. Zane, Kieran, Enzo, I continue to love each of them. We get to witness their devotion and the lengths they go through to get her back. I think this was a great addition to Vee and her men's story. After that ending, I can't wait to see what's going to happen in book 3!
When you find succum to your fate. 3 black Knights who found their queen
So far so good in book 2. Still need more her and Zane tho. I would really love it if she had Zanes baby well any of theirs. But in my eyes Zane is like the leader so I'd be happy with him 1st then 2 more after lol. Doesn't matter tho. This was a great book. With the moretti gone not sure what 3rd book will be like but I also don't care cause I can't wait. This series is awesome so far and the author did an amazing job.
I will say Veronica’s waffling in this book annoyed me. I understand she’s struggling with a moral dilemma but she was willing to die in the first book and now is struggling with the grey morality she’s been thrust into. But her character growth was exceptional and I have to give it to Cluney. Exceptional work with this book. The men as always are amazing and we got some one on one time with Zane which was missing in the last book. Looking forward to the conclusion of the trilogy!
This is book two in the series and wow, a complete emotional ride. Veronica has issues with so much guilt for what happened with Callum, then she gets taken. Zane, Keiran, and Enzo have to keep their emotions in check to get their woman back, but when they do, they set out to get those responsible. Things come to a head and when the smoke clears who will be standing? The ending has me needing the final book.
The second book in this Mafia series picks up right where the first leaves off, Veronica coming to terms with her decision. She's such a a strong person and is continually put through the wringer and using that strength to survive what is thrown her way. After going missing, her men do everything to bring her back. I can't wait to read the next book and see how their relationship continues to grow and where their new path will lead.
This was darker than the first book and it was brilliant. The book develops the relationships between Vee and her men, especially Enzo and Zane. I'm still kinda waiting for Kieran to really get his crazy on with her. If you like your men dark with a side of psychologically divergent and an fmc who has survived whatever the world has thrown at her, then this is the series for you!
This book picks up right where the first one ended, and it’s so intense. But, man, it was a fantastic time! The strength in Veronica is amazing. She’s absolutely a survivor.
Sorry, Enzo and Kieran, but Zane won favorite of the book. I can’t wait for more of all the guys, though! They’re all fantastic characters.
Totally 5/5 stars. I’d give it a 2-3/5 on spice, maybe.
Already knowing there was a 3rd book coming out, so you expect a cliffhanger 9f some sort, but that. That wasn't what I was expecting. Can't wait to see how the group handles and evolves the future. I so wish these guys were mine. The dominance mixed with tenderness. The psychotic tendencies underneath it all. Yep. I have claimed them.
It getting better and more passionate as the drama unfolds
Veronica is kidnapped. The guys are not playing around. This has drama, dragged out, do not touch our woman you will die. This is amazing how you love very individual characters in the relationship. Kieran, Lorenzo, and Zane, Veronica. The cliffhanger is the best and I really hate cliffhangers.
Things just got interesting, I can't wait to see what will happen now. I'm glad that Vincent got his just desserts for what he did to Veronica, thanks to Zane, Enzo, and Kieran who ended Vincent via window. Each story of the Mafia Brothers series gets better and better. On to the next one. 😊😊😊
I loved the first one & couldn't wait to dive back into the world of the Vee & her 3 Mafia men. This book did not disappoint! It was definitely an exciting page-turner (check those triggers though) & the farther we get into this story the more I absolutely love Veronica. Her story arc has shown such growth, strength & resilience. I can't help, but cheering her & her men on while they work to find their happiness. A seriously fantastic read!!
Second of 3 in the series… That cliffhanger in book 1…whew…I needed to know where this went! I was NOT disappointed in the twists and turns in this book. I really enjoyed this book and watching how each of the men were so different but offered Vee just what she didn’t know she needed!
