Grace and Blake are in for a ride, a twisty, intense ride, as revelations are dropped, and feelings develop. Grace is having to deal with finding out she may not have known her grandma as well as she thought she did. And Blake, well, she doesn't know him nearly well enough, though she wants to. Will he ever open up to her and give her every piece of him? Or will he always keep things from her?



Blake's not sure who to trust. Everything is upside down, and all he knows is he has to protect Grace. His feelings for her are stronger than he's ever felt, and he's afraid if this isn't resolved, he may lose her, and that's one thing he'll never allow to happen.



Whew, what a twisty, delicious conclusion to the Smoke & Glass Duet! This couple is the one that made me love Cari and Taryn's writing. And Grace and Blake are even better now with light edits and revisions. If you haven't read this writing duo yet, this re-release is the perfect starting point. If you're a long time fan as I am, you'll love reading one of their previous couples who have received a fantastic facelift.

The sexual tension is palpable; the $ex scenes are passionate and intense; the secrets and deception have the potential to destroy the building friendship and possible future. The story line execution is wonderful, evenly paced, and well written.

Possession starts where Obsession (Smoke & Glass Part 1) leaves off, and we are dropped right back into this intense mystery / love story. Possession concludes the fantastic story which was started in Possession.

This second book in the duet has the mystery portion of the story and we see Grace, Blake and Jack unravel the mysteries and questions left by Graces grandmothers death. Blake and Grace are starting to collect clues and puzzle pieces to figure out who is vandalizing the house and what actually happened to Grace’s grandmother.

We slowly realise ( thanks to Grace's grandmother) that Blake has been besotted / obsessed with Grace for a lot longer than she ever could have thought. His connection to Grace and her grandmother raises questions, gives answers to other questions and sets us up for another story arc for the future........
Guess who he is related to....... OMG Yes !!

The more clues these two uncover, the more secrets come to light. The real question is, can their passion & love overcome the lies that are uncovered as they learn who, why, and what the vandal wants from Grace.

Can Blake keep her safe, win her heart and solve the many mysteries ?
All while believing that he isn't good enough for but falling even deeper in love with her ?
Will Grace be okay when she is deceived by the one person who she thought she could rely on ?

This final book is at time dark, emotional, and mind blowing with the plot twists and turns, but just as steamy as you would expect from Taryn and Cari !
Taryn and Cari have written two absolute masterpieces with theses books and left us all waiting to see what high jinks Blakes heritage will cause within their fantastic universe.

Well, I knew that POSSESSION was going to be all kinds of amazing, and I was not wrong, not at all. Cari and Taryn have the romantic suspense thing DOWN, and have brought their talent in a big way to give the absolute perfect follow-up to OBSESSION (Book 1).

After the free fall ending of OBSESSION, I could not wait to see how things would unfold between Grace and Blake, the revelations that were coming our way, and the way that the ladies would deliver all of the passion, action, and edge of our seat suspense that is this series.

It's been clear that Blake's secretive past is somehow tied to Grace's grandmother, Annabelle, and their past. But there are people that would go to drastic lengths to make sure that those secrets remain hidden, and figuring out who is friend and who is enemy makes for a gripping read, full of intrigue, suspense, and passion.

Cari and Taryn have done a fabulous job here, and done it with their trademark intensity and sizzle. Because, above all, OBSESSION and POSSESSION are the story of the relationship between a man and a woman, and the twisting path that has brought them to each other, and I could not have loved it more.

With all of the 'steamier than ever, we've got a mystery to solve, what the heck?!' hotter than ever action here, the Smoke & Glass books are definite must-reads. But wait, there's more... more Jack Hollister, that is. Yep, there's more Jack in our future, and I couldn't be more excited, so get reading, and get ready, because that's going to be one heck of a story, I guarantee.

This is book 2 in the Smoke & Glass series and it absolutely must be read after book 1. This is a re-edited version of The Boss-book 2 is parts 4-6. Lies. Seduction. There are a lot of twists and turns coming for them both, along with the banter that these author's have become known for-at least for me! If you read the original series, this is just a re-redited version. But, it does have a brand new epilogue, so you may still want to get it-even if you have it from before. I found it well worth it!

Blake and Grace are in the middle of something they don't quite understand -- something someone is willing to get shot for has got to be hidden in Blake's (formerly Grace's grandmother's) house. What is it? Who wants it? Whatever it is, it puts Grace in a terrible (dangerous) position. When Blake and Jack come to the rescue, we see Blake’s tough-as-nails exterior soften a little – he really does care about (dare I say love?) Grace. But all their secrets are weighing them down.

Once their dirty little secrets all come to light, their young relationship is truly put to the test. Mystery, action, sexy times.... this story has it all.

Taryn and Cari have done it again with this story -- weaving characters that grip you and make you invested in their well-being. Hats of you you m'ladies. Well done.

Yes! This is starts off right where Obsession ended. This is a fast-paced book between Grace Copeland and Blake Carson. This all started, or so we are led to believe, when Grace's grandmother passed away and when left in debt her home was sold (out from under Grace) to Blake. When Grace shows up to try to get her home back, she instead gets a job as Blakes assistant. It doesn't take long in his orbit until they cannot keep their hands off each other, that was in the first book. Now in this book we learn so much more. Will they survive all the secrets and lies as they come closer? Will Grace be able to survive finding out what her grandmother was involved in? So many questions and so many twists. I loved this book and wonder how I missed it for so long!

Wow! Possession was a great finale to Obsession. I am a big fan of Taryn Quinn's Crescent Cove series but if you're expecting that small town sweetness in the Smoke & Glass duet, you're clearly heading in the wrong direction. This duet is twisty, steamy and full of surprises. Billionaire Blake Carson has so many layers that my head was spinning! And his personal assistant Grace Copeland is a woman on a mission, no one is getting in her way to discover the truth about what happened to her beloved grandmother. Blake and Grace steam up the pages in their search for answers. Possession was told from dual POV and was a wonderful romantic suspense story that will have you guessing until the final pages.

In this second part of the duet we find out all the things! Grace and Blake have been on a wild ride and I wouldn’t have it any other way. There is suspense, a bit of a thrill to find out who done it and all these threads that you get answers to here.

Taryn Quinn brilliantly concludes the life of a billionaire with a past that ties to Grace in all ways. You find love, a love so fierce that it spans a lifetime practically. Grace is stubborn, but her tenacity will drive you to fall in love with her character.

I seriously could have had more in the story. It was so awesome that I didn’t want the ending to come. Taryn Quinn knows how to write a magnificent billionaire along with a female lead that truly drives and leads the story.

Putting the pieces back together

This second book in the duet is when the mystery portion begins to unravel. Blake and Grace are beginning to collect clues to figure out who is vandalizing the house and what actually happened to Grace’s grandmother.

Through trying to solve these mysteries, we begin to find out more about Blake and his connection to Grace and her family. The more clues these two uncover, the more secrets come to light. The real question becomes, can their passion overcome the lies that have cropped up between them?

This final book is sometimes dark, sometimes troubling, but still just as steamy as you can imagine!

When I thought I was Obsessed with the first book, this one grabbed me in even more! Blake and Grace are still revealing more clues to Grace's grandmother Annabelle's secrets. Annabelle has left clues throughout her home and other secret places that Grace had fond memories of. Together Grace and Blake solve the mystery as quickly as they can before the people they are coming after get to them first. Excellent mystery novel with tons of snarky remarks and a fire that has this couple unable to keep their hands off each other. Between the smoking hot scenes between Grace and Blake and the suspense you will be so addicted to this read!!!! Thank you Taryn Quinn for another hit!!!

Holy smokes! Blake and Grace grabbed hold and did not let go. I love how this story is able to pull me right back in. Grace is digging to find out more about secrets that seem to be popping up, and there's danger lurking that kept me on my toes. Blake still has his own secrets so I enjoyed how these things were handled while digging through their past. It's part mystery, thriller, and suspense mixed with a growing connection and a ton of spice! It's a great read that I enjoyed from start to finish.

Another great read from the writing duo of Taryn Quinn. This is the second half of the Smoke & Glass duet and so many readers have given wonderful reviews for this book. and I totally agree with them. The book was beautifully written, with an interesting storyline and wonderful characters. I loved the interactions between Grace, a glass artist, and Blake who is a businessman and specializes in glass buildings, and there are many secrets and lies between the two. I thank the authors for giving us a great story, I give it more than 5 stars!!!

This book is the conclusion of the story, which started in Obsession. Blake and Grace have found themselves with a mystery mixed into their romance. These two are explosive in their attraction to each other, but they rely on that attraction to provide a distraction from the truths they need to share. The mystery of Grace's grandmother leads danger right to their doorstep, but how they deal with it will determine if they will ever be happy together. Great conclusion to this story!

This is the conclusion. Blake and Grace are set to discover so many secrets. So much betrayal.
Blake and Grace don't know who they can trust.
As the mystery of what Annabelle and Philamena were up to is discovered Grace questions everything in her life.
When she learns about her early connection to Blake, it just might break their relationship/connection.
There are many twist and turns in this story.
But the foundation of Blake and Grace's connection gets strained but does not break

This is book 2 after Obsession. Blake and Grace had to face so much danger, twists and turn. Secret that came out. The attraction between them is so strong. The mystery of her grandmother lead to danger. Who can they trust. Oh boy this book will keep you glued to the pages and on the edge of your seat. Will they get through everything and have a happy ending?. This is a very great must read story.

The drama continues from book one. Blake trusts no one around him, including Jack. Both Grace and Blake make really stupid choices. Hers almost end her life. His almost cost him Grace due to really ticking her off. Things get better when they learn to talk AND listen. He can be very sweet to her and they have some great people around them. They only have to figure out who is great and who is the enemy posing as great first.

Blake and Grace delve deep into the mystery in book 2 and the tension ramps up as Grace is put into danger . The secrets are many and Grace is so tired of them. The biggest one threatens to tear them apart, however Grace realizes she's in deep with Blake.

Grace and Blake have their conclusion! I loved how this story had so many facets just like the glass they both work with. Grace will always have a place in my heart for her resilience. Possession has mystery and is at times dark, as Blake and Grace learn more about what her grandmother was really involved in. This would sure did continue the emotional rollercoaster ride with its twists and turns. It is a well written, nicely paced story that will keep you on yours toes.

I enjoyed the conclusion to the Smoke & Glass duet. Finishing Blake and Grace's story gave me satisfaction for the most part. The ending felt a bit rushed and I'm not sure I got all of my questions answered. With that being said, I did enjoy the story. I do recommend reading this duet.
