Ivan Porenski is an Oligarch, one of the super-rich Russians who reside in London. He lives a life of excess and luxury, and he's also a player. Competing with a cultured member of the British Aristocracy is difficult for even the wealthiest of foreigners, let alone one carrying around dark secrets, and a chequered history. Part of the 'A Very Corporate Affair' story, Ivan reveals his side of events, and carries on with the story through to it's conclusion. Contains adult language and scenes.

Wow, wow, wow.

I loved The Corporate Series, absolutely loved it and for awhile I've been considering re-reading it, while looking around the other night I found this book, I was like a child at Christmas, honestly I just couldn't believe there was another book and from Ivan's POV, how on earth had I missed this.
I love different POV books I know not everyone does but I do so to get one of my all time favourite series from Ivans POV seemed too good to be true. If you've not read The Corporate Series then I suggest you do before reading this book as it will give you a full picture of what's going on. We therefore know the story before we start but it's intriguing seeing things from Ivan's perspective, I know at times while reading the first three books I both loved and hated the Ruskie Ratbag at the same time but seeing events through his eyes in this book I just love him, he's wonderful and I feel awful that I ever had any bad thoughts about him. This book fills in the blanks nicely and all the times when I cursed him for being stupid and insensitive and upsetting Elle I now take back.
This truly does complete the series although I must admit I wouldn't say no to another one, maybe one from both Elle and Ivan's POV.

So, at first, I thought this was only going to be a repeat of the previous three books from Ivan's perspective, but no, there was more. This time we end up having to worry about Elle, and whether there will be a HEA. It was a fun read, but still slightly "and then they did this, and then they did that" ...

I loved this book couldn't put it down. Ivan Porenski is a very wealthy Russian man and he always gets what he wants, but when an up in coming lawyer Elle Reynolds catches him on a mistake he is intrigue. Ivan becomes jealouse when he find out the Elle is going out with his friend and rival Oscar Golding. When Elle tells Ivan that she is no longer seeing Oscar he doesn't want to wast time in asking her out, but Elle refuses because she's felt intimidated by him. After finally getting her to go out with him they really hit it off, but Ivan kept messing up by not telling her the truth and her finding out. When Ivan went to Moscow for business to check on his companies he was taken along with his body gaurds, Elle did everything to get him back safe since his board members prefered him not to come back, but instead of thanking her he was upset with her. After Ivan & Elle shared everything about their own lives and their fears they understood each other better, and Ivan realised that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Elle, but was affraid that she didn't feel the same.

I enjoyed this series... However, it is nothing in comparison to Fifty, Jesse or Gideon.

Seeing the first 3 books from Ivan's POV I think made him look worse... Ivan was a bastard snooty and selfish and definitely not a man I would wan to be with... Finally at the 70% mark we finally get to read new material... Basically the epilogue that should have been in the last book... This series was over priced and I am upset that I payed $4.99 for the same book with details taken out with a few crude comments added about all the girls he "shagged" prior...

Overall I wouldn't recommend this series if you have to pay full price. The first book/installment is great and will get you hooked... From there is where it starts to taper off...

Loved this series of books
It was really good to hear from Ivan, especially to see what was going through his head in certain situations. Did find it a little repetitive but that's obvious because it's the same situations but just from his opinion. Really enjoyed the New York twist and love what he did for Elle at the end. The Oligarch warmed me to him in the end

I loved being able to get his POV because there were many parts in the very corporate affair books where his actions didn't make sense. I also liked that this booked covered beyond where the trilogy left off.

The trend of releasing books from different povs needs to stop, especially when the writing isn't good enough to flow properly. This was painful to read.
