This volume collects episodes 13 to 24 of the smash hit WEBTOON series The Mafia Nanny, which has more than 31 million views on the platform.
another great volume full of action, danger, and more questions on all fronts. i love how this volume ended with some forced proximity!! i'm ready for volume three!
Thank you to Wattpad WEBTOON Book Group, WEBTOON Unscolled, and NetGalley for the ARC!
We’re back with increasingly high stakes, solid character development, and a couple of new faces! Nico, Val, and Louis are fun additions to an already great cast of characters. Davina continues to be an absolute badass while battling with the reality of who she works for. Mikey is adorable and amusing, I really enjoy how his relationship with Davina has grown. His relationship with Gabriel is also so special, I love seeing how much they love each other. The tension between Gabriel and Davina is palpable and I look forward to more! It’s a slow burn but absolutely worth the journey. The art is lovely, I can’t wait for the rest of the series!
I am again current via webtoon as of July 13th 2026. It's still great, exciting to see where the ending is going. Somehow this is the first webtoon I caught up on this year.
I am current to chapter 94 of this series via Webtoon, as of Nov 25 2025. and I am totally obsessed. I don't remember the last time I was this caught up in a drama/romance. Will definitely be checking back regularly for updates!
I really enjoyed this one. It keeps the action and suspense coming and just a WHIFF of romance in the air. Honestly, they are too busy trying to survive and maybe figure out who is trustworthy and who is not to fall into each others arms. I like it when the feelings come naturally and not insta.
Honestly, I'm not sure why the MC H doesn't just pop a cap in his uncle and take over the family business, but I guess it will be revealed in future volumes.
4, this has my attention and I can't wait to see what happens next, stars.
My thanks to NetGalley and Wattpad WEBTOON Unscrolled for an eARC of this book to read and review.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
I received an ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
I'm a bit obsessed with this webtoon, and I want to thank whoever made the decision to print it. This volume collects episodes 13-24 of the webtoon series.
If you're new here: Davina is an elite nanny and she's currently in charge of Mikey, the son of the Venetian underboss, Gabriel Angelini. Davina is realizing just how dangerous the mafia world is, and she's only getting more tangled up in it. She's determined to protect Mikey, but something happens that makes her realize that her duty is clashing with her ethics.
This volume introduces new supporting characters: Val and Nico. Get ready to see more of them! The last thing I want to to mention is that this volume contains the *first* moment between Davina and Gabriel that highlights their awareness of each other in a more overt way. I read that scene, I think, last year, and it still lives rent-free in my brain.
Anyway, this webtoon series has me in a chokehold waiting for Monday nights. If you're a mafia romance reader, then definitely check this out.
I love you Davina, i love you Gabriel, i love you Mikey, i love you Adam, i love you Nicco, i love you Val✨
If you aren’t physically attracted to Michele, then I don’t know if we can speak. Yes, I know that he’s a 2D character and I could care less. I read a review that said this felt like Dramione fanfic and now I can’t unsee it. But for me, it’s if Draco got massively buff and amount 1000% hotter. Not 100. Not 999. 1000%!!!
This is a play on the mafia don trope, but if the love interest was a really well trained nanny/bodyguard/hacker who is out to revenge the loss of her parents and she thinks it’s the Angelini’s who killed them. I don’t read a lot in that genre, but if I knew it was going to be like this, I’d be a new fan!
Thank you to WebToon Unscrolled and NetGalley for voted eARC.
Could not stop reading this. Now that the core characters are developed, I loved the addition of more characters and more stakes. Also, I want that red dress Davina wears to the party.
i don’t remember what happened in these chapters because i read the webtoon version earlier in the year before the book came out. but i’m counting this book bc i need to inflate my read count to reach my goal by the end of the year 😬
I will have to go back and read volume one since I jump right into volume 2. So much has been going on but you can tell that danger lurks around Mikey and Gabriel, and the nanny is at a standpoint. She has something going on in her own head she wants answers about her past but also seems to have got attached to Mikey who has lost someone he loves.
Reading this was so much fun, Mikey is such a vibe and is hilarious but also has his moments. Gabriel seems to be in between his emotions which would like to figure out in the future. The nanny is mysterious to me and it might be because I missed volume 1 but I will for sure go back and keep this comic in my to be read to get all the info it was a great read.
2025 Reread: I like that this volume doesn't shy away from the darkness of the mafia world. It forces Davina - and the reader - to face the moral dilemmas early. This is the volume where Mikey really starts to shine as the hilarious, confident, and deeply traumatized child that he is. It was interesting being reintroduced to Nico and Val. I like how this author is building side characters that have their own unique personalities and objectives. There's a large cast, but few are flat characters. The artwork is gorgeous, despite the poorly designed cover. I wish Webtoon Unscrolled would use a different graphic designer because this series' covers are hideous, especially when compared to the source material.
4.5 stars and rounding up because I just love this series and these characters so much.
First read: Still such a fun series! It is getting much darker and the stakes are getting higher. I'm loving the addition of characters close to Gabriele and Michele. They provide a fun and comforting element that is balanced by the darker content. This had no romance development, but I'm enjoying the fast-paced plot so much, I don't mind.
This is what I call a badass protagonist. Extra bonus points for her being female. She reminds me of Katniss Everdeen, and I love her for that—and so much more 💯
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I have to admit something first: mafia romances are usually NOT my thing. Stories centered around crime families and mafia bosses aren't a trope I actively seek out. In fact, I only started reading “The Mafia Nanny” on Webtoon because Gabriel gave me major silver-blond Draco Malfoy vibes... and as a Draco girl, there was absolutely no way I was passing that up. 😌 What I wasn't expecting was to become completely obsessed with this story.
From the very beginning, The Mafia Nanny hooked me because it's so much more than a mafia romance. It perfectly balances action, mystery, heartwarming moments, and genuinely hilarious comedy. The banter is top-tier, and some of the interactions had me laughing out loud. The humor adds so much charm and keeps the story from becoming too dark or heavy.
And then there's Mikey. Honestly, Mikey completely stole my heart. Gabriel's adorable son is the emotional core of this story, and every scene with him is pure gold. He's sweet, funny, precious, and impossible not to love. I would protect that child at all costs. Watching Davina build a relationship with him was one of my favorite aspects of both volumes. And can we also talk about Louis, Mikey's little friend? Absolutely adorable. I loved every moment they shared.
Speaking of Davina... I absolutely adore her. She's competent, strong, caring, and never loses herself despite being thrown into the dangerous world of the Angelini family. She is a true heroine. But what makes her even more compelling is the painful past she carries with her. She lost her family because of a mafia feud, possibly involving the Angelinis themselves. However, it's clear that there are still many unanswered questions, and I can't wait to uncover what truly happened.
And the chemistry between Davina and Gabriel? EXQUISITE. The slow burn is absolutely killing me in the best possible way. Every glance, every protective gesture, every bit of tension between them had me screaming internally. Their relationship develops so naturally that by the end, I found myself desperately needing more.
And can we PLEASE talk about THAT KISS at the end of Volume 2?! FINALLY!!! After all the tension, the longing, and the endless teasing, that moment felt so incredibly earned. I was kicking my feet and cheering because I had been waiting for it forever. It was absolutely priceless.
Another thing I loved was the cast of supporting characters. Adam is hands down one of my favorites (I adore him!!!!), and I also loved Nico and Val, whose loyalty to Gabriel is unwavering. It was wonderful watching them gradually grow to care for and respect Davina as well. The found-family dynamic in this series is honestly one of its greatest strengths.
And... ⚠️ ⚠️⚠️ the Don, Gabriel's uncle. I have rarely been so deeply disturbed by a villain's characterization. The way his presence is constantly associated with gluttony, playing with food, olives, and anything olive green creates such an unsettling sensory experience. It's genuinely disgusting in the most effective way possible. ⚠️ I never thought I'd say this, but after reading The Mafia Nanny, you might actually start hating olives. And this is coming from someone who used to absolutely LOVE them. Bleah! 🤢
Anyway… What started as, "Oh, the blond mafia guy is kind of giving Draco Malfoy," quickly turned into, "I need to consume every piece of this story immediately."
I ended up purchasing the Season Finale chapters included in Volume 2 because I simply couldn't stop reading, and now I'm counting down the days until Volume 3 is released. This series has officially turned me into someone eagerly waiting for new The Mafia Nanny content, and honestly? I have zero regrets.

Series: The Mafia Nanny #2 (Ch. 13-24) Rating: 4 stars - It was really good
This was another really enjoyable volume. At the end of the previous volume, Davina was tasked with investigating who left the threat against Mickey on the property. In no time she finds the culprit and realizes that they were trying to set up another mafia group. This leads to more kidnappings and secrets revealed.
This volume was action packed and suspenseful from the very beginning. Davina is protecting Mickey from kidnappings, uncovers information about her parents, attends a mafia member filled birthday party, and has to decide if she is cut out for this job. I am really enjoying the progress of this story, especially how the different sides of Gabriel are being shown. Humans can be many things at once and we are really seeing that with this story so far.
Overall, I am really invested in this story and can’t wait to read more, especially after that suspenseful cliffhanger of an ending. I need to know what happens next so I will be jumping to webtoons to get caught up.
TW: kidnapping; gun violence and injuries; murder; torture; house fire;

*Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher/author for providing me with an ARC of this book. The following is my honest opinion *
4⭐️ out 5
In recent years, I have found that I have a strong aversion to Mafia romance. Dark romance is so saturated but whenever I see a Mafia Nanny book..... *SCREAMS* This book was giving.... angst, slow burn, tension and absolute cuteness. I love how the story is developing and see the characters grow and feelings starting to bloom. The episodes where it shows Mikey being a kid are such a palate cleanse, in themselves. Can't wait to see more!!!
