Finding happily ever after is going to take one heck of a master plan.
Novice wizard, Everleigh Clarkson, and elven prince, Aithan Nomos, have upped their game and are done playing defense. The supernatural vigilante group, Pandora’s Key, has gone too far.
Unfortunately, stopping them will be easier said than done. Pandora’s Key is planning to take the city by storm... literally and figuratively. To complicate matters further, now that Everleigh and Aithan are officially dating, there’s also the minor problem of Aithan’s grandfather, King Kostas, trying to bully them both into working for him and him alone. Good luck paying for life without a job.
But this time, Everleigh, Aithan, and their friends are ready to tackle it all. Which is a good thing. Because finding happily ever after is going to require one heck of a master plan.
Delve into the final book of the Wizard in Vegas Trilogy set in the Pandora Effect world today for snarky humor, clean romance, and supernatural adventures!
Brittany lives with her Prince Charming, their little fairy, and their tiny prince in a decently clean castle in whatever kingdom the Air Force has most recently placed them. When she's not writing, Brittany can be found chasing her kids around with a DSLR or belting it in the church choir. You can find more of her work at her website BrittanyFichterFiction.com.
The perfect ending to my newest favorite of all time urban fantasy series!! 😍😍
I was nervous when I started reading, wondering if this would be an out of the park win or just a-okay, but Brittany delivered on the previous books with this awesome wrap up of Everleigh and Aithen’s story, though plenty of tiny loose threads remain for new characters to take up the helm of the overriding plot with the annoying Key.
Thankfully the romance wasn’t NEARLY as heartrendingly angsty as A Wizard’s Worth (from which I’m still recovering from, let me tell you) and while Everleigh and Aithen still have to fight for their well deserved happily ever after it’s FAR less painful and they grow even closer then ever before through it all. Individually they grow as well and FINALLY Everleigh stops trying to save the world on her own, as while an admirable trait it also was getting a little irksome and not just for poor Aithen and their friends, lol.
Speaking of their friends, I LOVE how tight knit of a group they are now after everything that’s gone down in the previous books, and continues to go down in this one, and how they grow stronger despite it all—it both made for epic and hilarious moments with them all being and working together and it made me so happy seeing them finally come together like this. (I also can’t wait for more details on, hopefully, most if not all of these characters getting their own stories in later trilogies, ahem 😉)
The plot was WILD with so many twists and complications thrown at the heroes it was hard to predict and even breathe at times. I will say if there’s one thing I’m disappointed about it’s how the situation with King Kostas was handled, and that’s not to say it was handled badly in a written or even moral sense, it’s to say I’m vicious towards fictional villains and felt he got off the hook to easily for everything he’s done. (No I have absolutely no grace or sympathy for the man, nopeity nope nope 😡🔥⚔️) Now with the next trilogy being about Julia and Alexander I can potentially see more of King Kostas having to “pay his dues” and suffer, ahem, I mean REPENT for his extremely DEPLORABLE actions, so for now I’m putting a pin in this little issue and will sit back to wait and see how things unfold.
If you can’t tell I utterly ADORE this series and these characters and am SO excited that I’m going to be able to follow them on further adventures! The only downside is I have to wait until 2026 for the start of Julia’s trilogy! 😩😭 How will I survive until then?! Wonderful, amazing, clean urban fantasy series that rivals Magiford in its brilliance, romance, and heart—hugely, highly recommend!

4.5 stars I can’t believe that this trilogy has come to an end. It has been a whirlwind and so so good! A Wizard’s Way is the final book in Brittany Fichter’s A Wizard in Vegas series. I adore this series and the characters! Poor Aithan and Everleigh, they just can’t seem to catch a break. They are now engaged but Aithan’s grandfather is still making things difficult. To make matters worse, the Key, the bad guys, are still out to get Everleigh. This book had me on the edge of my seat. I needed to find out how it would end. There were so many twists and turns. I loved getting to read about Everleigh and Aithan interacting, they were just so sweet and fun together. The side characters were amazing! They all need their own books and I see hints of different couples. It was fun to read about Everleigh and Aithan learning more about each other as they sought to take down the Key. Everleigh was powerful but she also had to learn that she couldn’t do everything on her own. I felt like in this book, you really got to see Everleigh and Aithan fleshed out. Honestly it was just such a fun book and I would totally recommend it! Although it is the last book in the trilogy, it is not the last book in this world. There are more books coming!! I am beyond excited to read the next series. The romance and plot were perfect! I love the themes of family and learning to lean on others. A Wizard’s Way is a clean urban fantasy romance.
Book Highlights: Everleigh learning more about her powers Jealous and protective Aithan Friends and family! Jamie and Soo Min bickering Getting to know Alexander better Magic and fun The banter between the characters
Yes! Finally! I've been eagerly awaiting this book for MONTHS now and it definitely didn't disappoint! I love it so much and it's everything I ever dreamed of and wanted for the final book in A Wizard in Vegas trilogy! I absolutely CAN'T WAIT for A Mage in Vegas next!
This book honestly has EVERYTHING for a thrilling ending to the Wizard in Vegas trilogy! Full of snark, humour, loyalty, romance, and high-stakes, this book kept me on the edge of my seat throughout every single page. I love how strong the team is together now and how they keep on working to strengthen their magic. I started to like Maverick a lot more too in this book, even though he is only in a few chapters. And then, Everleigh's ex-boyfriend comes in... And the Key has a huge plan that will happen soon...
The ending was awesome! It was full of heart-pounding excitement and high stakes! I love how the climax continued to build all the way to the end and finished the book off so perfectly! And then how things got resolved with King Kostas (after he tried to kill Everleigh in the hospital bed🫢)...😍!
And everything else was everything that I could have wished for! Their wedding, Christmas🎄! Did I forget to mention the hole in Everleigh's heart?
Overall, this book was the PERFECT conclusion to A Wizard in Vegas, leaving plenty of hints for A Mage in Vegas and future sequels. I can't wait!
Disclaimer: I received an ARC from the author. I was not required to leave a review and all thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.
I cried, I swooned, I felt compassion for a character I spent SO MUCH time despising (did not think that was possible)! I ALMOST skipped to the end too many times to ensure it would be a happily ever after (I refrained). And all in all, I felt like it was the perfect ending to an incredible series. It still left me wishing for more of Everleigh and Aithan and this world (luckily Brittany loves her readers and is telling Julia's story next!)
Everleigh continues to be such an ideal main female character. She remained compassionate, strong, and humble. She wanted to save the world & protect her people - she felt the burden and the weight of that calling - yet had the wisdom to let others in and realized that she didn't have to carry that burden alone. Which is so relatable. I loved that about her; the way she processes and moves through life is so relatable. She feels allll the things - righteous anger, grief, joy, fear, bravery - yet always chooses kindness and mercy.
And Aithan - he loves her so much and the way he fights to stand beside her and protect her! SWOON.
I could go on and on about each individual character but I think I'd end up giving spoilers and I don't want to do that. So I'll just say...absolutely worth the read.
This book was the perfect ending to the trilogy and it ended so satisfactorily! I loved how Brittany Fichter concluded this series and I cannot wait for the next series! I really enjoyed seeing how Everleigh and Aithan's relationship developed, especially since he was no longer cursed. This book was really nice in terms of relationships as we got to see more interactions between Everleigh, Aithan, and their friends. Despite the threat of the Key still looming, I loved how Brittany Fichter still included so many humorous elements that kept the novel light, but it was still really thrilling and serious in the action-packed and dangerous moments. The entire story was so well-written and the plot was really enjoyable to read. The book was extremely gripping and page-turning, and I finished this book in one day! I simply could not put it down. I highly recommend this book for anyone who loves clean urban fantasy, strong heroines, strong and intensely protective heroes, thrilling plot, and supernatural elements that are not dark. This book is an absolute must-read!
I received an ARC from the author. All opinions are my own.
Finale in the Pandora Effect Series, by Brittany Fichter
(Many thanks to Brittany for an early copy of the book. All opinions are my own.)
The happily ever after in this series was *hard* won. The majority of this third book was still mired in twists and turns and plots and attacks. I won’t lie- I would have appreciated someone telling me it was going to have a great ending.
So I’ll tell you- it has a great ending. I don’t want to give any spoilers, but the ending was incredibly satisfying.
I wish the characters were a little less subject to their innate “natures” (jealousy, possessiveness, etc), or had made an effort to overcome them instead of being ruled them. But that is just the world Ms. Fichter has woven.
All in all, this was a fun series with a fabulous ending. No swearing, some peril (including some on-screen deaths), and nothing spicier than a few rather chaste kisses.
If you like clean supernatural urban fantasy with romance this series is for you. This is the final book of Everleigh and Aithan's story; so if you haven't read the previous books you should start at the beginning.
The third book is just as enjoyable as the first two books. All the characters that you have come to care about are included, and the world that the author has built is still interesting. It is hard to review the book without spoiling the story so I will just say that if you enjoyed the first two books you will enjoy this one. The book's ending is a nice lead into the next series set in the world. I am very much looking forward to the Mage in Vegas books.
I received an ARC, but was not required to leave a review. The opinions in this review are my own.
-this is the last book of a trilogy & must be read in order
-this is told from Aithan & Everleigh’s points of view
-there is some fantasy violence
Review:
What a great conclusion to Everleigh & Aithan’s story!
I loved seeing their relationship grow together and seeing them face everything. I loved seeing their friends together and all of them continuing to learn to work together better. I found Soo Min & Jamie’s rivalry in the background to be so funny! I also loved the happily ever after like ending for the book!
I can’t wait to find out more about Julia & Alexander in the next trilogy! (Starting with A Mage Marked) Especially to find out what the Pandora’s power did to Julia and what curse Alexander ended up with!
Summary:
Everleigh and Aithan are done with having their every move dictated by Aithan’s grandfather, King Kostas. But the king won’t let them go without a fight, making Everleigh and Aithan’s lives that much harder. And with the rise of attacks from the Pandora’s Key, it’s definitely been a hard start to their dating relationship.
But nothing will stand in their way from protecting those they love again if they have anything to say about it…
I enjoyed the two books leading up to this one more. This does bring about a happy ending, but the action goes in fits and starts and spends quite a bit of time catching the reader up on past events. The greatest character challenge makes one person out to be completely evil and yet there are conflicting actions hinted at. There’s quite a bit of made up “science” that the reader is just expected to accept without question. As a reader with a scientific bent and background, I found it to be jarring at times to suspend knowledge due to “wizard’s magic” that goes unexplained and without understanding for the characters themselves.
I loved this clean romantic fantasy! It was an amazing combination of human and fairy world with both good and bad characters everywhere. The world that this author built continued to delight me with its realistic magic and nonstop action. The character growth and the resolution of the conflict in this book (and in previous books in this series) was so satisfying and gave the perfect ending to this delightful story! received an advanced reader copy of this book, but my thoughts are all my own. I received an ARC copy and this is my review.
I really love the relationship Everleigh has with all her friends, not the least of which is Aithan. However the battle to stop Pandora’s Key is not going well, they seem to be outsmarted at every turn. King Kostas vindictiveness is also getting worse and so are his decisions. I loved the unexpected twists and really loved the ending. I can't wait for the spin off series. I received an ARC but this review is my own.
Loved it! I’ve been waiting for this book to come out for a while! First off this is a clean series! This book like all the others is clean and free from language and sex scenes.
Spoiler alert- I really loved that you think there’s no way it’s going to work out. Bad things keep happening and yet it still has a good ending and unexpected things take place. I’m definitely excited for Julia’s series!
I received an ARC from the author. I was not required to leave a review.

Fantastic conclusion to a very entertaining series!
Full of snarky banter, sweet romance, supernatural escapades, and characters that are easy to root for, this is clean urban fantasy done right.
I am so happy that this author dove into the world of urban fantasy and I'm even more excited that there will be more books set in this world. I can't wait to see what comes next in Julia and Alexander's story.
This was SUCH a good book! There were so many twists and turns. But in the end everyone got their happy ending. The world building and character development was excellent. You really feel like you are there on an adventure along with the characters. The entire trilogy is amazing. But this last book is my absolute favorite!!
I just finished the last book and it was the best ending to a very fun urban fantasy series. The author neatly wraps up the story with the perfect blend of humor, heartache, and HEA's. I look forward to the next planned series in this world she's created.
This is a good series for young adults. It's a clean fantasy with a good story line and you know the girl will eventually get the guy by the end. My granddaughter is 13 and it's safe for her to read.
The last book of A Wizard in Vegas was captivating, enchanting, and packed from beginning to end. I’ve come to love this unlikely group of friends and I’m looking forward to more of them in the next series.
I enjoyed the concept of this series but the execution of it less. There is a lot of tell and not enough show. Still will be around for the next series.
This book was so much fun, filled with humor, intrigue, love & action. Multiple enemies and battles on all fronts made this an action-packed and fast-paced adventure. I cannot wait to find out more about Julia and Alexander.. what is his curse?? So many characters that I fell in love with and need to know more about. Great quality urban fantasy!
Everleigh and Aithan were such a good couple; they balanced each other quite well. I love the progression from distant/one-sided enemies to lovers. Not only was their romance great, but the character development, especially Everleigh's, was very touching. Everleigh struggles with a misconception that she has to face the world alone because she is a wizard, and that to rely on others is simply not an option. It often leads to her hurting not only herself, but others. We learn the important facet of strength: relying on others allows not only you, but the people helping you to evolve their abilities and have a greater outcome of success.
I wanted to punch the Pandora Key members myself: they were SO STUPID--and THEO?! I can't get over his particular brand of stupidity. Like get away from Everleigh now before I jump into the book and make you get away. But I will give them credit where credit is due. Their plans for domination were creative, and I did drop my jaw in shock multiple times.
The world-building was awesome--I loved all of the lore behind the political intrigue and supernatural races. Seeing them interact with each other was fascinating, and I can't wait for Julia's story!
