Crazy town adventure, I really enjoyed Rhodes. Blake helped her to come out of her shell,opened her eyes to see how corrupt her department was. Rhodes really took a stand and definitely has great potential.

Across the sprawling series, we follow Blake Wilder (a fiercely intelligent FBI agent with a shadowy past as well as a personal vendetta) as she hunts killers, unravels conspiracies, and confronts the ghosts that refuse to stay buried.
What made this series stand out for me was the great balance of grit, intrigue, and emotion. The cases are sharp, fast-paced, and satisfyingly unpredictable, but it was Blake’s personal journey - her resilience, vulnerability, and razor-sharp instincts - that hooked me and had me completely invested in her and the outcome of each story.

A fantastic story and series!
This was a particularly complex case for Blake and her team. Not only were they met with open hostility by the lead homicide detective, several things seemed off about the case, but the most confusing aspect was that the profile, no matter which one they used, would only work for part of their case. Prior to beginning this case, Blake found out some disturbing and devastating news about her sister Kit. Unable to make contact Kit or her handler from the CIA, Blake's focus is fractured at the worst possible time. Will they be able to figure out what's going on before it's too late? This is a definite must read book and series!
I would definitely recommend this book, series, and exceptional author.

The Silent Hunt(Blake Wilder FBI Mystery Thriller Book 28)
OMG!!!!!!!!! This book was amazing and very disturbing. Blake and her team are called in to find a serial rapist who has started to murder and mutilate the bodies. This quickly becomes a strange fight for justice. The victimology is off, the first 4 women are Burnette and around 19 to 24, the second set of victims are blonde and between 24 and 35, so that makes the team think there are 2 suspects. It just gets crazier from there, but they catch them.

This latest Blake Wilder book was intense and fast-moving. Blake and her team went to San Diego to assist with a serial rapist & murder case. Her team has become very cohesive & I like it when a local is included in their investigation. Their thought processes really add to the story and the solving of horrific crimes. Also, in this book, there is reference to Blake's sister Kit & her apparent involvement in the violent Arias cartel (which has been an ongoing theme in this series). I hope we'll see where that storyline goes. Overall, it's a great read!

When FBI Special Agent Blake wilder and her team are called to California to help the police investigate some rapes and assaults on several women they meet with opposition from the Detective on the case. This is nothing unusual so Blake and her team dive in to the investigation. When the next body is discovered it has to turned into rape and murder. Blake is sure they have more than one offender but they keep hitting dead ends. Her mind isn't in the game as she is worried about her sister Kit as well. Elle Gray has weaved a story of intrigue and deceit that will keep you turning the pages.

The writer in her Authors Note, talks about "everything on fire" and "A story about real people". If that was her goal in writing this, then she succeeded. The story is such a hard to put down book because there are so many moving scenarios that are on fire, with people that feel real. This is another in a long series where the story, thankfully continues even after book 28. Excellent as usual.

Captivating!
This is an excellent series. It's one of those that you hope will go on forever. I've read all 28 books and have never been disappointed. Maybe it's the way it's written; the characters, the story line or the undeniable way you are immersed into their lives. I will impatiently wait for book 29.

Unputdownable
Blake and her team always go the extra mile to get justice. They put their lives on the line with every case. Blake is slowly changing with regard to Sonny I can’t wait until they are in the same city, or better still actually take the leap and move in together. I so look forward to the next case.

heartbreaking on professional and personal levels
A number of young women in San Diego are assaulted in their homes, then a homicide occurs; escalation, or is this a new perpetrator?
In the meantime, Blake’s sister is somewhere off the reservation, in the company of some very, very dangerous folks.

I have been following Elle Gray and reading her books for a long time now. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great author. Her characters become family, you will never find better plots, filled with exciting, unexpected twists and turns. The only problem is you're never ready when the book ends!!

Once again, a nail biter!😊
Elle Gray's books are impossible to put down until the final chapter! Since I finished the first book, I've continued to read the one book after the other. Another great Thriller
Elle Gray doesn’t disappoint with another great Blake Wilder FBI Mystery Thriller.
Her team is asked to assist in finding a serial killer rapist. The team not only finds one but two killers. They chip away at any little clue and eventually put all the pieces together.

This was excellent story about Blake and her team going all out to find out who is killing young girls and why and finding who the killer is with a surprise you didn’t see coming with lots of action and suspense. Thank you for this awesome story.

I guessed the killer pretty early but there were definitely decent twists and turns to make you rethink things. I need Blake to pay better attention and the Kit stuff is frustrating. Still enjoy the series!

Every book is as good as the one before it . After this many books in a series they can seem repetitious; however , she continues to keep the stories fresh!! One of the best series I have read!

Great book
This series has kept me guessing. I sure didn't see who the killer was in this book. Blake has her hands full with a serial killer and her sister Kit missing. When they find one killer but realize she was right and they're are two. This book kept me in mystery mode.

Once again Blake & her team get called in for help with a case of women being raped. Then women are being beat, sliced & brutally murdered & the room they are in gets totally destroyed. Blake believes that there’s 2 different people committing these vicious attacks.
