Paolo Eleuteri Serpieri is an Italian comic book writer and illustrator, noted for his works of highly detailed renderings of the human form, particularly erotic images of women. He is best known for his work on the Druuna erotic science fiction series.

Mein Gott, die Graphic Novel liegt schon seit 2017 auf meinem SUB. Eigentlich war ich immer begeistert von der wirren Story der Druuna Reihe und habe meist gute Erinnerungen an die Bände. Leider fand ich es dieses mal gar nicht mehr gut. Ob es an der langen Zeit liegt oder an der Handlung, kann ich nicht einschätzen. Ich kann nur sagen, dass ich das Gefühl habe, dass sich alles nur wiederholt, man in einer Endloschleife ist und ich mich nun doch eher langweile. Sicher ist (außer das mit der Langeweile) alles so gedacht, aber ich fand es nur noch nervig.
Was mir dieses mal auch aufstieß und mir früher nicht aufgefallen ist, war das Verhalten der Protagonistin. Sie war so unglaublich zickig und unsympathisch.
Was wieder total klasse war, war der Zeichenstil. Der mag ich sehr.

De máquina a clone é Druuna transformada e descobre que o mundo dos homens teve uma guerra com máquinas e que foi decidido criar apenas entidades não humanas, andróides, de modo a evitar-se os erros cometidos pelos humanos.
Mas o facto é que os andróides querem sempre saber qual a razão que torna os humanos como o são e acham que a análise é feita desmembrando-os e abrindo o seu cérebro pois lá deve haver a explicação para o prazer e a dor.
Mas o sofrimento de Druuna em perceber que já não é o seu original mostra que é humana apesar de tudo

Chaotické pobehovanie Druuny z mesta do centrály, kam ju vedle malý trpaslík . Tam sa dozveda velké tajemství, co kdo je a o co vlastně šlo. Asi chápem, prečo posledné dva diely nevyšli v češtine. Množstvo sexuálnych scien je prudko zredukované. Začína sa filozofické a psychologické táranie o Druune , ktorá tam stvárňuje chudinku a trosku túžiaci po domove.

Five stars for the art, one star for the story and two for the world building, so I give three stars as a mix of the three. Sex, monsters and violence are not really my cup of tea, but still the beautiful art made me turn the pages.

This Druuna volume just couldn't have been more random. It's like the creator didn't even care about the (still insane) previous traits of the character etc.
