When an omega passes her heat at a facility, she signs a waver just in case. Because accidents do happen.
I’m an accident.
Not a fatal one, but one where something went very wrong.
Now, I am nothing but instinct, barely human, only my savage omega self.
Kept as a curiosity in a lab for experimentation, I’ll never know love or acceptance. I’ll never have a family or a future.
When I escape, the facility cannot allow me to be free. Society at large cannot know about accidents like me, after all.
They’ve created other experiments from accidents just for this purpose. Feral alphas, trained to use their unerring alpha instincts to hunt down omegas.
But when these alphas find me, they are not trained to claim me.
They are trained to kill.
The facility isn’t counting on one thing, something so rare they don’t even know it exists. These deadly alphas are my scent match.
dub-con, warming, desperate desires, mating as comfort, male-male interaction, bisexual awakening, I-want-to-kill-all-girls-but-you, and one very cliffy cliffhanger. This is the first book in a duet.
This is one of those wacky times when I choke on my words and reluctantly say how I need a little bit more plot and less smut in this book, in particular, in order to enjoy the story.
Look, I tried. The writing reads very immature. The characters are somewhat off-putting. The plot (the little there is of it) gets pushed forward in ways that are too convenient. It pulls me out of the story. This isn't for me.
This is the darkest omegaverse I've ever read but in an intense way that I just want to read more. Calix gives Lotus some normal, arrow is like comfort, knight is like a dark knight protecting them from murdering others, and Striker is the leader who helps guide her. Learning their lives before and seeing them as different people after the trauma is so interesting. Striker being a priest before made me laugh. I despise Dr. Acker's character and honestly am not a fan of Carla either. I think she was cheating with the brother before Arrow went missing. And I fully believe that companies would be like this if a/b/o dynamics existed in real life. Can't wait for the rest.

Eh it's decent. Spicy scenes are a little odd and ill timed. It would be better with more plot less spice and Im shocked saying that. My 2 favorite parts were someone's view on religion and their explanation of matriarchal society. I don't think I'll read book 2
Lotus was an experiment, that went wrong, and now shes escaped only tp habe feral alphas sent after her in Strike, Arrow, Knight and Calix, what no one expected is these trailed k*llers would find their scent match in Lotus! Well written engaging fast paced read i cant wait for bk2!
Dnf like 60ish%, I didn’t really like how Calix was introduced to the rest of the group. It put me off so much that I didn’t want to finish. It was so rushed that I just couldn’t 🥲 it’s sad bc the concept was really interesting.
DNF 25%. This reads so badly and very immature. This feels like a middle schooler tried to write a fanfic for adults, not a published book. The concept could be interesting, but the writing and pacing is just not there.
Reads like a wattpad story. Love all of the concepts the writing just needs some work. I hate being left of a cliffhanger. Now the omega is taking charge.
