Amazing!

I loved the first book in this series but I believe this one was even better. I could not predict was going to happen the entire time and I was a little shocked but my goodness that ending was so worth it!

Argumento:

Mis padres no me querían, mi manada me rechazó, y ahora mi pareja está a punto de hacer lo mismo. Soy una abominación que nadie quiere, ni siquiera la persona que se supone que es mi todo.

Está luchando contra nuestro vínculo con todas sus fuerzas, pero veo grietas en su armadura. Solo tengo que seguir trabajando en ellas y quizás, solo quizás, tenga la oportunidad de conquistarlo.

Y si no lo hago, estoy prácticamente muerta.


Mi humilde opinión:

Romance paranormal, shifters lobos, parejas destinadas, erótico oscuro.

No me gustó Levi cuando hacia sufrir a Clara y no me gustaba cuando Clara se lo permitía porque no tenia mas remedio, ella había entrado en calor y él era su pareja destinada. Clara no tenia control sobre su cuerpo o impulsos. Esta parte contenía consentimiento dudoso que es con lo que no me siento cómoda. Lo peor es que Levi usaba el sexo para que ella confesara porque había entrado a su territorio y porque la habían echado de su manada. Cree que ella porque hizo algo malo, entonces él no la acepta cuando su lobo la reconoce como suya y lo contiene para que no la reclame.

Me pareció demasiado cruel la manera en que la trata todo el tiempo sobre todo por el estado físico y emocional de Clara. Es su pareja destinada, esta ocultando secretos pero por qué tiene que pensar lo peor? estaba a la vista que era una joven inocente, que era la victima de la historia, que había sufrido injusticias y más, por qué él se empecinó en hacerla sufrir más? Me hubiera gustado que si bien no confiara en ella, le diera el beneficio de la duda, que la cuidara, eso hubiera hecho la diferencia para mi.

Clara no tiene un lugar al cual pertenecer, es mitad bruja mitad lobo, su origen le trajo mucho dolor y rechazo, ella fue producto de una violación y su madre, que era una bruja, no solo la rechazó sino que la maldijo para que no pudiera cambiar a lobo. Entendí el sufrimiento y resentimiento de su madre pero Clara no tenía la culpa. Por eso que encuentre a su pareja y que Levi la trate tan rudamente, malamente, después de conocer más sobre ella no me sentó bien. Clara se merecía a alguien que la atesore, que le demuestre amor. No entendía a Levi, podía entender que no le guste o se le dificulte hablar sobre sus sentimientos pero… por qué tratar a Clara como si la odiara? Quería ayudarla a liberarse de la maldición de su madre, vengarla por lo que le hicieron y cuando atentaron contra su vida pareció importarle, entonces por que no le decía que la quería sin importar lo que ella era con palabras? Levi dice que todos la lastimaron pero él también lo hizo al rechazarla cuando la encontró.

Clara intentaba defenderse pero qué podía hacer cuando enormes y fuertes shifters como Shane? Se mostró como una heroína débil, mostrando algo de fortaleza cuando enfrenta a su madre por primera vez y cuando toma la decisión de dejar a Levi por su bien.

Clara y Levi son compañeros pero no sentí ese vinculo especial entre ellos. Es más, los dos estaban confundidos por encontrarse. Nunca tuvieron una charla honesta, él fue bastante brusco, gruñendo, ordenándole. El momento cuando están juntos en la ducha fue porque la naturaleza los empujó, pura lujuria. Me hubiera gustado ver un poco de construcción en la parte romántica, algún desarrollo de su relación, lo que hubiera sido interesante porque él era lobo y ella era mitad bruja.
Todo el amor y la parte dulce se guardó para el momento del epilogo. La manada de Levi solo la acepto cuando logro cambiar a lobo? Y si nunca lo hacia porque su madre no rompía la maldición?

En fin, lo que le quitó emoción para mi fue el protagonista, si él hubiera sido mas sensible con su pareja destinada que había pasado por un infierno, le hubiera dado mas estrellas a esta historia porque todo lo demás estuvo bien.

Clara wanted a new start after living with a mother that has hated her for her whole life. She had hoped that if she left that she would find the place that she truly belonged but so far, she has been met with nothing but rejection. As a wolf shifter that cannot shift, she is classed as an abomination and has been sentenced to death, abandoned in the woods to die, she has hope that she will be rescued when she can sense her mate, only for Levi to treat her cruelly. Will Levi just be like everyone else in her past and reject and abandon her when he doesn’t hear or get what he wants, or could he be the one that looks at her and sees her for who she is and not where she has come from?

Levi has watched his Alpha Thorn find love and his one true mate, but after watching his pack start to find their mate and not so much as a sniff of his, he has started to doubt that he has one. That is until fate brings him Clara, he knows straight away that something is not right but whatever it is Clara doesn’t feel like sharing any of her secrets, so Levi tries to push her away, but keep her close enough to protect her. When her secrets are revealed will Levi be the wolf that she needs or are some secrets too hard to see past, is the bond that they share enough to overcome the horror that they are faced with?

Loved the book but still have to mention that there should be a trigger warning at the start as a gang rape is mentioned although not in detail. There is plenty of chemistry between Clara and Levi from the very start, however Levi isn’t the easiest character to like at the beginning, but he grows on you and Clara makes you want to wrap her in cotton wool and hug her after all she has suffered. 4.5* read

Spicy shifter novella with some suspense.
My true rating would be 3.75⭐️ but f I’m happy to round up to 4⭐️.
This is Levi and Clara’s story in the Bleeding Heart Series. She has been shunned from her pack, and is lost and hungry in the woods. When Levi finds her, he realizes she is his true, fated mate. However her secrets may keep them from completing the bond all fated mates are required to go through. He is torn but his wolf demands his mate.
Clara is confused by her feelings for Levi - she appreciates his protection and feels the invisible strings that pull and tie her to him, but wishes he would stop holding back. As her secret is revealed, and their heat reaching new heights, will they be able to overcome their biggest obstacle?
If you’re looking for a short story that’s full of spice and just enough of a story to keep you interested for more, then this is it.

Sometimes you think everything is against you but fate has other plans. You don’t have to read the first book but why not make a better flow when reading this one. This is Levi’s story he meets his mate, but something isn’t right about her, she is different isn’t like any other wolf which gives other’s the right to mistreat her, or she has been made to believe, and yet he can’t bring himself to kill her considering he is sent to take the rouge, but that rouge is his mate. Clara is sweet you want to give her a huge hug has been mistreated her whole life because she was different, she has been rejected by everyone, now exiled from her pack and on the run now she is about to rejected by the one who is supposed to look past all her short coming but she so used to being rejected she is prepared for rejection but will he reject her, has she found a home, will she continue to be burden with her mother’s burden, and is there some form of happiness for her?

Undesired Mate is a short and steamy, paranormal, fated mates, wolf shifter dark romance. Levi is a hunky, somewhat grumpy wolf shifter. Clara is a Rogue wolf shifter who has had a hard life and is carrying secrets. When Levi finds her in his territory, he recognizes she is his mate but is not friendly. She won't answer his questions, so his treatment is cruel at times. This couple had decent chemistry, and the ending was very happy after a lot of drama and angst. This does have dark themes, and I didn't see trigger warnings, but rape is mentioned, and Levi was a bit cruel early on with behavior I would classify as dubcon or noncon even. I didn't like him at first, but he grew on me. Overall, the story flowed well and was a great fast-paced read. 3.5☆s rounded to 4 ☆s.

I love a fated mate story especially when the characters must fight for each other and overcome internal obstacles to find happiness, it just adds to that extra layer of 'meant to be' that I can't resist. But what if one of them doesn’t know what love is, has never once experienced it and the other one can’t give into it because he won’t doom his children into having a degenerate mother. I like how the author does not sugar coat the struggle, trauma, honesty, and growth the characters wade through to find not only themselves but each other. Darcy Rose will be on my favorite author list for sure.

This story completely took me by surprise! The heroine is on the run and unexpectedly finds her fated mate—but there’s a catch. She can’t reveal why she was rejected by her pack, and in turn, he puts up his guard, refusing to let her get close until she tells him everything. The push and pull between them keeps you hooked, and when the truth finally comes out, they stop fighting their bond in the most satisfying way.

When Levi feels the mate pull towards Clara he is both anxious and confused, and when Clara turns out to be a rejected wolf, with a secret past he is unsure what to do. Clara is on the run, exiled from her pack for being different, but when she realizes Levi is her mate, she finally feels hopeful.. but that quickly changes when Levi pushes her aside because of who, and what she is. This was a fast paced paranormal Fated mates novella. Levi is working with the Alpha (Thorne from the previous book) to secure their territory boarders when he comes across Clara. He recognizes her for what she is, but she has secrets he needs to know before anything happens. Clara is running from her "former Pack" (not that she ever joined). She did not have an easy upbringing and it creates some problems that need to be addressed. Will they find a solution to the issues? Can Levi help Clara find her wolf?

Clara and Levi’s story had them meeting when she is rejected by her pack and forced to make her own way as a rogue. He’s out finding out who’s on his packs territory. They discover they are fated to each other. She knows he will reject and fight it because that’s how it’s always been for her. He fights it due to secrets he wants to know about her. Once he knows them will he go forward with the rejection or forge the mate bond for them. This was a quick emotional story.

I couldn't help wanting to know how it ends.

The story follows Clara, the FMC, as she is on the run to survive and her fated mate Levi who finds her in the woods in his pack's territory. Clara is keeping secrets to protect herself while Levi fights his bond until he knows the truth. Will the answers bring them closer together or cause him to reject her?

I really enjoyed finding out! Every so often I love a good spicy shifter romance and I loved how the story didn't seem rushed considering it's a short story.

Clara is on the verge of starving. She has no one and no place to go. Her mother is cruel and does not want anything to do with her. So when Levi catches her and demands to know why she was exiled from her back she refuses to tell him for fear of what will happen.

This read has very dark moments- almost to the point that I stopped reading it but the story is good. There is mention of rape in the past (not between the leads but between the mother and father of the FL), and some of the actions of the ML towards the FL was questionable. This story would benefit from more communication but then there would be no conflict between the leads to move the story along.

A really dark but quite good story. There was a lot of push & pull between Clara & Levi. At some point, I thought there was no path forward between them but love prevail at the end. Interesting plot that keeps the reader attracted to the book and a good sweet ending. Recommended!.

Wow! I absolutely loved this book. Amazing characters and wonderful plot. Very beautifully written and easy to read.

I read this book in one sitting and I loved every second of it. The chemistry and passion between Levi and Clara was undeniable and sizzling.

Overall I loved this book very much. If you’re looking for a fated mates, shifter romance then you’re going to love it.

Their story is filled with danger, pack drama, secrets, steam, and unexpected twists that make this a great read. Overall a good read and I look forward to reading the next book by this author. Undesired Mate is another story in the Bleeding Hearts series and although it's a standalone read it helps to read book 1 because characters from that book pop up in this one.

Escaping her abusive pack - Clara hides out in pack lands belonging to Levi's pack. Which leads to him finding out Clara is his fated mate. I'll be honest I didn't Levi's attitude towards Clara to begin with. I understood that he had to be cautious with Clara but it grated on me slightly. Especially with how sweet she was throughout this book. A quick and steamy read.

I really enjoyed this shifter romance, it had some darker themes to some stories I've read recently but I'm totally okay with darker romance tales.

Given what the FMC, Clara, had gone through I did find myself rooting for her and hoping she'd get a happy ending. Levi, the MMC, was a lovely match for her, and I enjoyed the switching of their two perspectives as the story unfolded.

Persephone seriously needs to learn the meaning of "permanent", but I'm kinda glad she turned out to be more bitch than witch, and that fate got it's own way.

This is book two of this series and I can't wait for more. Levi and Clara's was really good. I really enjoyed the connection and chemistry between these two but I also liked that they had to look beyond what society says and wants. These two have to work and communicate to get there HEA but they get there and I can't wait for more.
