I didn't get very far through this book.

I've read widely on ADHD neurodivergency and mental health; in my profession I work with young people needing a range of support in these areas.

I found the author's practice of saying "ADHD people" uncomfortable. People with ADHD are not the condition, they have the condition.

I also stopped hard at the point where she said ADHD was CAUSED by a dopamine deficiency. Dopamine deficiency is a comorbidity of ADHD but I can find no research that supports that it is the cause of ADHD. People will believe what they read in books; the fact checking needs to be robust. It's irresponsible not to do this.
