Remember how I said the first book was good but had room to grow? Well, this sequel said, "Watch me glow up!“

I loved A‘s and Haruto’s development. Al’s intensity is still there, but now it’s layered with this heart-melting vulnerability, like, who knew this man could go from "overbearing" to "I would die for you" so flawlessly? And Haruto?! The man who once ran from commitment like it was the plague is now fully, irrevocably in love. The way his walls crumble, the way he lets himself want Al long-term, was really beautiful to witness.

„From the top of this charming head to these eyes…nose and mouth …I love them all.“

But let’s talk about the real star of the show: THE SPICE?! Holy hell, the sex scenes in this one were definitely next level! Every moment was electric, packed with so much passion and actual emotional weight, none of that empty, mechanical stuff. You could feel how much they craved each other, body and soul. It’s been ages since I’ve read smut this well-written.

And the feelings?? Ugh, don’t even get me started. The way they look at each other, the quiet confessions, the "I can’t live without you" energy, it’s not just lust anymore. It’s love, raw , real and I was here for every damn second of it!!

Final verdict? 5/5, no notes!!
If you liked the first book even a little, you NEED this sequel. It’s hotter, deeper, and so much more satisfying.

This was a satisfying conclusion to this two part series. The couple Al and Haruto are adorable and I’m glad everything got tied up in a nice little bow. There was a brief miscommunication but it was very quickly resolved. I wish this series was longer honestly because I want to continue reading more of this couple. Also the chibi art of Al and Haruto is absolutely adorable. I had some small grievances which is the only reason it didn’t get 5 stars. Would recommend to anyone looking for a short BL or even romance manga to read.

I didn't love this as much as the first book, mostly because the balance of story to smut was off. I...don't love the art for the latter. It's a bit much and kind of over-the-top. But the story parts were lovely, and I appreciated the softness and eventual good communication between Al and Haruto.

It felt very natural for Haruto to transition from his playboy, globe-hopping adventure to a committed, monogamous relationship. I liked the scene of him tearing down his old conquests poster and genuinely being very happy about his time with Al. They both bring out each other's best qualities - Haruto was partly a playboy just because he was afraid of being true to himself, and didn't think he could be open at home and at work. Having a work friend know about his relationship and continue to value his friendship was a really nice touch.

And Al's slightly obsessive behavior makes a lot more sense when you understand that Haruto is the first thing he's ever cared about or wanted for himself, outside of his family's high expectations for him. He didn't defy his family to be with Haruto - he went straight to his grandfather to ask for approval from the family head - but he did prioritize their happiness and his ability to ensure a future for them. I really liked all those elements.

Al's father was a funny little bonus; I wasn't expecting to enjoy a random side couple that much, but they were cute. This was a nice, mostly drama-lacking two-volume series.

Our butler has decided he knows what is best for everyone and decides to cause problems. The art is uncensored and lots of smut in this volume. All consensual again which love that in a fluffy manga. These two are really good together. They care about each other and love to put the other first. I wish there was more by this author translated into english cause this is the perfect low lift, fluffy, romance BL. I do think we were tricked at the end but oh wellss....

Conclusión perfecta. Los amo. Después de conocer a Al, la vida de ligoteo de Haruto da un giro de 180 grados. Sintiéndose cada vez más atraído por el hombre perfecto, Haruto se percata de que su corazón podría estar irremediablemente enamorado de Al.

Tulipa sitten jatkettua tän parissa. Seksiähän tässä lähinnä ainoastaan on. Lopussa oli vähän ikävä viittaus siihen, että toinen hahmo on tosi mustasukkainen, vitsi ei ollut kovin hauska (hahmo siis matkustaa kyttäämään työmatkalla olevaa kumppania, ettei se vaan harrasta seksiä kenenkään kanssa…) Mutta siis jos tosi graafista ja spicyä mutta ei kovin ongelmallista BL-mangaa etsii, niin tässä olisi sellainen.
