Ok now I know that this series is continuing

I can air out all that needs to be addressed. I st off the Death of Rose being connected to Sadie and the corruption of the police Department is the duty of the FBI and should have been brought SAC Marze's attention. Especially when it is connected to Allie and her Mother. She trusts him and we know that when she told him that her mothers police file disappeared and she was almost killed because of this. I hope that this is why Marze was sent to Seattle , this is big and with Sadie at the helm how was this over looked for so long. The FBI has to be on to this level of corruption.
Now that the bones have been found an investigation has to be done and I think its time for Allie to see her father for information on Sadie and their past. She also needs to protect Shepherd who is just a kid effected by this like she was. Ethan can only do so much and he already got shot twice trying to protect her. I also want Ethan and Allie together and raising Shepherd side by side and Ella the great Grams. Lol... I hope Eva reads this and takes it all into consideration before the next book release.

A Lethal Gamble is the sixth book in the Allie Bishop FBI Mystery Thrillers by Eva Sparks - and again, with this series I was plunged into a gripping blend of psychological suspense, high-stakes investigation, and emotional undercurrents.
Across the series, we follow Allie Bishop, a sharp, determined FBI agent whose intelligence is matched only by her resilience. Each book delivers a self-contained mystery whilst weaving in an overarching storyline that deepens Allie’s personal journey.
Ms. Sparks excels at layering clues, along with a few red herrings, ensuring that the final reveals are both surprising and satisfying.
The cases are dark and often chilling, but the human connections - between Allie and her colleagues, her adversaries, and even herself - gives the stories heart. The writing is vivid, making it easy to visualize the action, yet still intimate enough to pull you into Allie’s inner world.
This is perfect for fans of fast-paced thrillers who also appreciate character-driven storytelling.
Happy Reading…

Disappointing

Another book about a rogue agent. This was a promising series and I initially loved the character but I can't stand books about characters that come in and think they know better than their superiors or colleagues that have been doing the job far longer than they have. In the real life, you wouldn't get away with crossing the line like that. It puts people's lives in danger. I would expect more from this character. Hopefully the story line improves in the next book.

A little boring spoilers included

This wasn't my favorite for sure. I actually thought.it was quite dull. I.was expecting more i.guess. this guy killed people because his mother had killed herself after losing all her money at the casino. He was sent to foster homes and his life was miserable. I understood his pain because he adored his mother. He loved her no.matter what. I couldn't believe that he killed a woman with.a baby either. He caused another child to lose his mother. He didn't seem.like he would have done that. But the ending chapter was awesome.

Thank you, Eva Starks, for Allie Bishop!

This is great escape series of books. One book leads you into the next! Soon, it might be difficult to stop continuing the adventures of FBI Agent Allie Bishop, the intrepid and compelling protagonist. The characters have heart and are compelling. The mysteries within the books have a tendency to hold you rapt.
These books would make a long airplane flight fascinating and fun. They are great for slow afternoons in a barcolounger.
I love the down-to-earth goodness of the characters.

Great Agent Bishop book!

Another great Agent Allie Bishop story. This one dealt with the murders of tribal members at a casino. It was interesting to get insight into what goes on with the tribal casinos, although I did have some sympathy for the 'bad guy'. The back story about Agent Bishop's mother is starting to heat up. The other storyline with Ethan is very slowly working in the background too. Very, very slowly. Good story, can't wait to read the next one!

A Lethal Gamble(Allie Bishop FBI Mystery Thriller Book 6)

OMG!!!!!!!!! This book was way beyond amazing and scary. You can see where a person may take exception to a large casino, where someone might blame a casino for the death and destruction of a family member, but this child took it way beyond that. Innocent people were murderd, just so he could get revenge. This book is a must read, but you have to start at the beginning. I can't wait for the next book.

heartbreaking backstory, terrifying result

Homicides at a Native owned and operated casino bring the FBI into the investigation alongside Tribal law enforcement.

Under the temporary supervision of Hagen, (as Marze - supervisory special agent - is temporarily reassigned) Allie’s least favorite teammate, Allie and the team sally forth to the casino.

The ending …

It was okay. This author has quickly become a favorite of mine, but this book was soooo slow. Usually I’m diving in and reading until the wee hours of morning but this one didn’t have me excited to pick it up. The ending is SO good though. I’m looking forward to the next book!

Well crap. I didn’t know until I got to the end of this, that the next book isn’t out now! 😭
I wish Sparks had addressed Hannah’s involvement. It feels so weird for it to have been left where it was.
Great story that built up well without being cliche or predictable. So excited to see where Allie goes next and what we find along the way.

Ego driven Allie

Allie's attitude that she is the only one who can save the day is getting very tiresome. She really needs to grow up and remember she is part of a team. That being said I did enjoy and recommended this book, but author please Allie's ego driven, I don't have to obey rules and protocols, actions are not believable.

great story

Well written, great characters and interaction. Ali and the team hunt a serial killer bent on destroying a casino. But it is my humble opinion that Evan and his story is a distraction.

A Lethal Gamble

One of her best books yet. I enjoyed every word. The characters are so real to me in this series that they feel like family and friends. She has the most gripping twists in her books.

A mothers love

People are dying in the casino. Allie and Jason are helping with the investigation. There's a lot of action and twists and turns to the story. Allie finds out more about her mother. The story kept my interest and I definitely recommend it.

This book lacked the thrill of the first books in the series offered. I do enjoy her books but this area has become repetitive and lack of motivation to want to finish.

Love this series, and this was a great. It pretty much stuck to one storyline. There are continuing smaller backstories that have happened in the series, that didn’t seem to be followed in this book. Without spoiling… nothing was addressed about a phone call received at the end of the last book. Or anything with Sadie. Hopefully they will be addressed in the next book.
