When the devil falls for an angel, all hell breaks loose.
Sandro
My name is Alessandro LaRocca. I’ve been sent to Tampa to reclaim the city from the Russian Bratva, who've started an unsanctioned skin trade there. Unfortunately, to strengthen our alliance, the NY bosses have also arranged a marriage between me and Giada Zerilli, the daughter of an established family in Tampa, and the last woman I want in my bed. In fact, the only woman I want is someone I can never have. Lennon Kelly, the sweet, fiery daughter of a maid, who captured my heart at thirteen. Every one of my childhood summers was spent at Club Paradiso in Tampa, where I met her, fell for her and then lost her. But now I’ve found her again. And I will find a way to have her. To hold her. To make her mine.
Lennon
My mom was murdered when I was seventeen at Club Paradiso, the hotel where she worked and the summer playground of the mafia. The day of her funeral I fled Tampa to live with my aunt in Chicago. I cut all ties, including with my first love, Sandro LaRocca, leaving him no way to contact me. His world of death and darkness isn't one I can be a part of. I’ve spent the last decade back in Tampa, throwing myself into my career, helping women heal after trauma, and keeping my broken heart encased in glass. But now Sandro has returned to my city. The boy I used to know has become a powerful and devastatingly handsome mafia Don, threatening to shatter that glass and turn my world upside down once again. If only he had been born into a different family, a different world. If only he wasn’t marrying my childhood enemy, Giada Zerilli. For my own sanity, I have to find a way to let him go for good. Even though, being in his arms is the only place that has ever felt like home.

Specific Dark Mafia Possessive MMC Spice, Angst and Heartbreak Opposites Attract Forbidden Love HEA
Sophie Woolfe is no stranger to publishing, having written under various pen names in the mystery, suspense, and thriller genre. However, SANDRO is her debut spicy romance novel and the first of many in the Tampa Mafia World series.
Exploring the dark side of human nature through fictional characters is her passion. Especially swoon-worthy anti-heroes and strong women. She lives a quiet life in a colorful beach town in Florida.
I absolutely loved and devoured this book!! A fast paced mafia romance with the perfect amount of spice balanced with the story !! An arranged marriage for the mmc , who is still in love with his teenage crush, who stole his heart from day 1 ! It was so hard to put this book down because I needed to know Sandro & Lennons story & how they found their way back to each other!! Their love & relationship is hot & adorable!! Such a delicious quick mafia read !!!
Glad I found this book. It was a thrill ride from start to finish. Sandro is a mafia man in charge of Tampa. Lennon is the girl who got away ten years prior. She wants no part of that world. Especially after her mother’s death.
Watching the two of them dance around each other when they reunite, you can see there are unresolved feelings. But the love is real for both of them. This may be a dark romance, but their story was far from dark.
A wonderful story that leaves you wanting more. Even more so with that ending. Can’t wait to read book 2.
Wauw! That’s the only way to describe this first ever dark mafia romance from Sophie Woolfe. I mean what a debut to this genre and what a way to start off this series. If you love mafia romance, second chance, spicy scenes, smut and a great flowing story with all the mafia elements (arranged marriage, betrayal, payback). This book is just for you. Sandro & Lennon’s story is awesome. It starts off with Sandro and you get a great first look into his mind and his world and most importantly how he sees himself. Lennon is the complete opposite but don’t think her life was any easier then Sandro’s. She’s had her own problems, trauma and heartbreak along the way. Add in a couple of great side characters I would love to see more of. That very first all consuming love and heartbreak that leaves you shattered and broken. An arranged marriage, anticipation, treats, betrayal, surprises and turns you never see coming and you have a great story on your hands. Not to mention that one heck of a cliffhanger that makes me dye for the next book cause I need to know what happens next. I flew through this story and would recommend it to each and every one of y’all.
I absolutely loved this book. Sandro and Lennon are perfect for each other!
What do you do when your teenage love/love of your life unexpectedly walks back into your life 10 years later? Lennon has not seen Sandro since tragedy struck and now it seems he’s back. As the son of a mob boss, she should run and avoid him at all costs for the sake of her own heart. But as the memories and feelings come flooding back, she finds she can’t stay away despite his arranged engagement. Meanwhile Sandro is also struggling. He has spent the last 10 years trying, and failing, to let her go. Now that she is within his reach he is determined to keep her. They are each struggling with what finding each other again means for the lives they have built. Trying to navigate loyalty, duty, longing and need without ended up hurt again. But when a piece of information comes Sandro’s way that has the potential to change the course of his life, he jumps at the opportunity to get wants he wants and desperately needs, Lennon.
Totally worth the read! It’s face paced, well written, with good flow and the exact right amount of spice. Can’t wait for the next book to see what’s next for these 2 and those around them!
This book felt less like a dark romance and more of a romance with darker aspects. The MMC is supposed to be this big bad mob boss but we really only get to see his softer sides, which is fine, but it doesn’t convince me that he’s some deep, dark, deranged mobster. The FMC was okay, but a lot was left up to interpretation. I felt the story was lacking deep emotional ties to the characters to make us as the audience feel connected to them, which left me feeling disconnected in the end. I also felt it was almost too “happy ending” by the end between Lennon & Sandro, and I was expecting a bigger twist than what happened. The spice was okay but also has the “cheating” trope in a way which is a toss up for me. All in all, the plot is there but the writing is lacking when it comes down to the character development.
Sophie Woolfe is a new to me author and Sandro is her debut book and she did amazing! Sandro and Lennon's story started as teens in love but ended when tragedy hit Lennon. Now, ten years have past by and they've crossed paths again. The lust and love is still strong but they could never together...or so they thought.
Sandro is book 1 of the Tampa Mafia World and can be read as a standalone. While it is a standalone it does end on a bit of a cliffy but that's only to continue the series of the next couple's story in book 2. I really enjoyed Sandro (and the side characters) so I'm looking forward to the next book!
This was such a great book! I had a hard time putting it down and doing life stuff! I just loved Alessandro and Lennon, and of course all the other hunky mafia men! Their story was filled with ups and downs, lots of twists through their journey, and most importantly, it left me breathless and ready for their next adventure. A true love between a bad man and a good girl who loves him despite all his evil. Who doesn't love a mafia man!!! A MUST read!
