Goldie's Locks and the Three Men

Rate this book
From bestselling author Liz Adams comes this modern erotic retelling of the fairy tale Goldilocks.

What if the only way to find the right man was to instead find the right men? As a thief, Goldie is always on the run so she can never settle down with one lover. But when she tackles one final job, could the three bearish men inside the mansion she's staking out promise her more than she could ever dream possible? Goldie's Locks and the Three Men, a modern erotic fairy tale fantasy for women. Her locks and her men, she sure knows how to pick 'em.

WARNING: In this modern erotic fairy tale, Goldie is a thief that has a way of unlocking men’s hearts and stealing their money and clothes. In her search to find rich men to swindle, she instead finds a heart-pumping, thigh-squeezing fantasy for women like herself, including: solo M, M/F, F/F, light B&D, and lots of bare-chested men to enjoy. For 18 years and older.

“I am pretty sure, but I think I stopped breathing for a little while as I read the break-in part and the fun scenarios that ensued. Liz Adams can create some hot scenes in the kitchen! I will never look at a spatula quite the same way again! *fans face* This read was a HEA with a surprising twist. You may think you know just how each of these three bears is going to react to Goldie sleeping in their beds, but just wait. You won’t see this one coming.” – Erzabet Bishop, author of The Erotic Pagans Series – Beltane Fires

“Scarlett O'Hara. Lolita. Holly Golightly. Some characters jump off the page and stay with us – forever. Goldie, the eponymous heroine of Liz Adams’s palimpsest Goldie’s Locks & The Three Men, belongs in this small elite group. We first meet her in what at first seems like a fairy tale. Her blonde ponytail bobs behind her as her cherry-red heels clip clop along in what might be a forest glade until, with some surprise, we find her on the sidewalk in Las Vegas about to enter a casino. Goldie is not what Goldie seems. She is a thief. A pro. The real deal.” – Chloe Thurlow, author of Girl Trade and expert of The Fifty Shades of Grey Phenomena

“Now, I’m not normally one to tackle erotic versions of stories I read growing up. I tend to stick to paranormal/fantasy, so this was a little trip outside my comfort zone. A trip that was unexpectedly delightful. With my baby brain lately, I’ve found it hard to concentrate on anything for too long, so thought I’d tackle it over two days, despite only being a novella. I didn’t stick to that plan. I got it read in an afternoon. Although I was a bit cautious going in to it, the details and flow of the story make the pages take on a life of their own. The characters are much more adult in a delightfully wicked sense, and Goldie was quite endearing, for a strong-willed thief. The other characters played off her quite well, and while all the personalities complimented each other in quite interesting ways, they were all strongly individual.” – Phoenix Johnson author of The Wolf in the Neighborhood

“Since I am an author of erotic fairy tales, this story caught my interest. The story followed ‘Goldilocks and the Three Bears’ enough for me to recognize it, but it was so different from the fairy tale it felt like an entirely new work. This is a fun little book that was a pleasant break for me. Ms. Adams’ sense of humor is right on target, and the sex in this book is… let me just say, Wow!” – Elizabeth Black, author of an erotic ‘Puss in Boots’ Trouble in Thigh High Boots (Lactation Sex)

Once upon a time.....well this bedtime story is not what I remember as a child. Enter Goldie, smart, beautiful, clever, sassy smart mouth, determined, and to top it off a thief. She is no Robin Hood stealing from the rich to give to the poor. Goldie is more like Cinderella, dreaming of a rags to riches life style to escape her evil father's greedy upbringing. Being a thief is all about the adrenalin, the planning, the execution, not getting caught, all a supreme sexy rush. She has hardened her heart against the pain of being neglected and unloved. Goldie is every woman the world over. Searching for the "one", but we all know he doesn't exist.

Enter three unique men, a mansion with razor wire fence, surrounded by the forest. What secrets do they hold behind those tall walls? What treasure is there to steal? What are the three men hiding, or who are they hiding from? All she knows is that substantial charitable donations have been made from this address and her favorite charity needs help. She has to succeed.

Ms Adams has taken a child's tale and created a hot hot hot erotic tale. Much like Aesop's fables this story has a lesson. The three bears are all unique in their ability to answer different needs of Goldie's, to take the sum of her parts and make her whole. Goldie is a laugh out loud character with her smart mouth wisecracks, and her major cat burglar skills. You will definitely have to keep a nice cold glass of water and a fan handy as she meets each man while trying to steal them blind. Bruce, Rob, and Al will forever be super hero's to me. The sum of their parts.......well lets just say they could definitely make my whole day.

Fairy tales retold are a favourite genre of mine especially when it is spiced up with some hot erotic sex. In this re-interpretation of Goldilocks and the three bears, it's tasty hot. I do a beta reading of this book and it was good. I gave it a 3 star. With the final published version, it's better and smoking hot. The plot holes were filled up and Goldie became much more palpable.

Goldie is one of those people who views man made laws as guidelines. She has no issue with breaking them and she does her best to avoid getting caught. In her mind, a little stealing is not a bad thing. She needs it and others have what she needs. At least she crosses the line at killing.

Goldie can be driven by loyalty which is what places her in the current pickle of a situation. Her mother is ill and desperately needs medical assistance. This is expensive. Goldie starts up again with her nefarious thieving.

The characters in this story are not that complex. Ms. Adams designs them all with their own motivation factor. Learning about how each character ticks adds to the story. What really kicked this story up a star rating for me was the smexy hotness when Goldie stumbles across her three bears. This one is too big. This one is too small. This one is just right. I'll let you figure out what item fits "just right". *snicker*

There is a little twist in this story which I didn't catch the first time I read it. It's a lovely blending which had me grinning. This is a smooth fun read and I recommend it for erotic readers who like erotic fairy tales retold.

At first I thought this was going of at a tangent, but as the original I always thought Goldilocks was a naughty girl and here she is a thief but one with a conscience that becomes apparent as the consequences of her actions become known and she tries to correct a wrong. At this point it moves to a brief f/f scene and I thought where does Goldie link with Goldielocks and where are the three men. Eventually it linked in. Also the reason for the martial arts and latest technology.
Liz reveals slowly where and why the three men are small to large, and witha very clever twist at the end which I twigged at a late stage, then found I was right and had to laugh.

Well written, remember it is based on a retold version that links into the original fairytale. I liked this but still prefer Liz's take on Alice best.
It has a hint of romance, hint of BDSM, and plenty of lust. It shows vanilla and kink...amazing what can happen in the kitchen haha.

Has to be 4 stars from me.

Liz Adams rewrites a popular fairtale into a sexy fantasy for adults. This is a short story about a theif with a heart of gold. Goldie is really more like Robin Hood except she doesn't necessarily give to the poor, in the end she just wanted to help her mom and start a new life. With her last job she just might have found what she has been looking for and more.

Goldie's character is pretty well developed. Her 3 men not as much but there is enough to give the reader an idea of their character. The story flowed pretty well. The one thing I would have liked out of this story was maybe a bit more of the final relationship with her 3 men. Other then that it was a cute short story.

Favorite quote: What is the lightest thing in the world? A c**k because you can lift it with your mind.

Goldie is a professional thief who decides to go straight after a gentleman she robs in Las Vegas gets severely beaten because of her. She pays off the beaten man's debt with the money stole, leave town a start a new life.
All is well until her mother becomes gravely ill and will need expense surgery.
Goldie decide it's time to go back to a life of crime to pay all the medical bills. All it will take is one good job, which she finds in a large mansion filled with expensive furnishings and a safe full of money.
The only ones living in the mansion are a billionaire his friend and their butler.
The place is covered with modern day electronic security but is no problem for a professional with Goldie's skills. So she waits until all three men leave one evening and breaks in.
The men return early and Goldie get caught by one of them. What transpires next is very hot erotica when Goldie try's to find out which man is just right for her veracious appetite. She soon decides she has found the perfect fit, who offers her money and a job.
You'll love the whole story, but especially the ending.

I don't even know what to say . . . this was the most bizarre thing I've ever read. I was intrigued by the title, but what I found was not what I was expecting. The plot really didn't make sense - there was pacing issues, and every encounter with Goldie didn't really make sense. Things were stilted and just jumped from one event to the other without any flow or continuity between then. I mean, major props on the idea, but I just couldn't connect with this one at all.

OMG, That twist at the end surprised dafuq outta me and I LOVED it! ❤️
Goldie is a thief and needs money for her mom. She scopes out a mansion inhabited by three men and decides they are her mark. She learns of their different kinks as well as their smells, among other things ie one is not enough, one is too much, and finally one is just right.
You get the identities of the men towards the end and I swear it put a huge smile on my face- what a crossover!!

Humorous Fairy Tale Modern Take

This is a humorous take on Goldilocks and the Three Bears. It does a good job bringing it up to modern day standards. There are obvious takes on the original tale with some added erotic episodes interwoven throughout. It kept a nice smile of satisfying humor in my face. Enjoy!

An interesting tale with a twist ending that I never saw coming. A very original way to tie Goldie's Locks to a comic universe. As per usual with Ms. Adams novels the sex action is perfectly written. If any of her books screams sequels it's this one!

Scarlett O'Hara. Lolita. Holly Golightly Some characters jump off the page and stay with us - forever.

Goldie, the eponymous heroine of Liz Adams's palimpsest Goldie's Locks & The Three Men, belongs in this small elite group. A pro. The real deal. And she needs the cash.

It's fortunate the high roller she runs into looks like Justin Timberlake and those pretty little breasts peeking over the top of her low cut dress is all the introduction she needs. His name is Gary and it takes time to get him away from the table - with his winnings - and up into the hotel bedroom. Gary takes her for a hooker, and she goes along with it, accepting $400 - four black chips, and the promise that he's in for the ride of his life. His winning go in the safe, the four black chips go on the dresser and, as you would expect from a Liz Adams fairy tale, the sex is mythical. While Gary sleeps the sleep of Snow White, Goldie robs the safe and, a gorgeous twist, leaves the $400 in black chips to pay for the great sex.

This is the set up. I won't ruin the story. But we are now crazy about Goldie and, as the title tells us, this is Goldie's Locks (as in safe locks) and The Three Men - two more to come with plenty of delicious flashbacks into the life and times of this living, breathing, loveable character

Enjoyed the book, especially the surprising ending except what the butler did to Goldilocks was more abusive than erotic (IMHO).
