55 books3,915 followersLacey Weatherford was born in Ft. Meade Maryland while her father was serving in the military. She has been a life long resident of Arizona, spending most of her time growing up in the small rural town of Clay Springs.
It was while she was attending the small country school in Clay Springs, that she read her first "big" book at the age of eight. It was a Nancy Drew novel and Lacey was instantly hooked. She read every book that she could find in the series and decided that she wanted to write stories too.
Lacey spent a lot of time at the library from that time forward, even volunteering in her later teen years and early twenties. She would don a crazy clown outfit for the Friends of the Library fundraisers in an effort to help get the new town library built.
When she and her husband moved away from the area, Lacey took the opportunity to take some creative writing classes at the local college to help further along her interests. Several years later, they were blessed with the opportunity to move back to Clay Springs with their family. The town had finally succeeded in building their library and Lacey had the opportunity to be President of the Friends of the Library for a very short time, before relocating.
Lacey and her family still live in the White Mountains of Arizona, where she continues to write young adult novels that have a fantasy/fairytale or paranormal bent to them, as well as being sure to include a great romantic storyline!

I was Gifted a copy for an honest opinion. I Loved it!!
Amazingly written book by two great and talented Authors. I enjoyed it so much, well written and of course,,,,, yes a cliffhanger! but well worth it. I love their characters Sklar and Ryder.
Ryder being my most favorite. These two authors know how to put the swoon in swooness, you can't help but fall in love with the story as much as the character's, I recommend this book to everyone and all.
I can't to see what the out come will be for these two, it can't come soon enough.

I have read books by Lacey Weatherford before and loved them. I haven't read anything by Belinda Boring so I wasn't sure what to expect from a book they co-authored. I found myself drawn completely into the story. I loved the romance and the story of how these two very different people met. The ending wasn't what I expected but it definitely made me want to read book 2 and find out how they overcome their obstacles.

Just whoa!
Just when I think these 2 authors can't rock my world anymore they decide to write a book TOGETHER and SHATTER my world! I loved the beauty of this book, the amazing connection these 2 characters share. While reading it you couldn't help but close your eyes and let the love roll over you. Some love stories seem so forced between the main characters but, not this one. Skylar and Ryder are just made for each other. 2 artists falling in love is always amazing add a Wander to the mix and it's beautiful. Then ending.... Oh the ending. It rips you apart! The hurt, anger, sadness, and misery is so deep you can taste it. I cried and cried and cried some more, not ever author has the ability to make a reader feel so much and so deeply but these 2 have that ability in spades.
In true Boring and Weatherford style they leave you craving more! To say I'm needing book 2 is a understatement!
Any readers who wants to experience a love that can be described as BEAUTIFUL then this IS THE BOOK FOR YOU!!!

This story is written by two amazing writers, Lacey Weatherford and Belinda Boring is definately going to be a hit with the paranormal romance community. Ryder will be the new book boyfriend of many a reader by the time they are done reading. Skylar is the girl we all want to be. I'm in cover love with this book! Gorgeous and handsome in one awesome package. Lacey Weatherford and Belinda Boring are amazing authors when they write by themselves, but put them together and they blew all my expectations. The writing is wonderful and I just can't ask for a better story. Easy fast paced read full of romance and hot scenes. I'm totally in love with Ryder and Skylar. He is my new book boyfriend! I can't wait to read the next book in this series! These authors ended the book on a climax, so you better hold on. I want more!! Ryder is a Wanderer which is a child of Angels who wants to study the universe. Skylar is an art student looking to find herself and start her life in a new place. When they meet magic happens and they are in a hurricane of love, lust, romance, and secrets. Can Ryder trust her with his secret? Will Skylar reject what he wants to offer? I was impressed with the seamless writing from these two great writers, it's not easily done. Great romance, sexy scenes, heart wrenching moments and the cliff-hangar ending that Belinda Boring is famous for. You'll need a few tissues and you'll have to hold onto the angst because Shattered, book 2 in The Story of Us, isn't out until an unknown date in 2015.

I got the amazing opportunity to be a ARC for this book in return for a honest review.
Skylar is a artist who moved to a new town, for the sole reason of going to a prestigious art school.
Ryder is not of this world living in a world of humans.
When writing a review I don't like to tell to much about the story itself I would rather express how the book made me feel....
First off let me state that when I first started reading this I mentally prepared myself not to be as satisfied by this book because of me assuming it was sci-fi, if I am being a 100% honest then I would say while I am a big fan of paranormal romance, sci-fi is not my cup of tea. Thinking this however did not stop me from falling head over book in love with Skylar and Ryder. It drew me in until all I could do was read and feel the emotions that Belinda and Lacey weaved into one amazing, heart thumping, and beautiful story. To me the beauty of this entire book was not only the love that Skylar and Ryder had for each other but the mental artistry that both the author's created. I laughed, I blushed, and I cried. I could feel the emotion of Ryder and Skylar in every page!!
I would not only recommend this book I would buy it for friends and family so that they to could be drawn in to such a truly wonderful book.
P.S. It's not Sci-Fi it's paranormal Romance!! Assuming was wrong and for that I am utterly thankful!!

When I had the chance to read a ARC of this book I jumped at the chance it's written by two of my fave authors so I just new it would be a amazing!!!
Skylar has a passion for art, she moved across the country to go to her dream art college & ended up with more than she could have ever wished for, she is young & has never been in love, until now!!!
Ryder is a wanderer, he has never settled in one place for long & has never wanted to until he meets skylar, she is everything that he has always hoped to find but never has, until now!!!
The attraction between them is instant, it's a love story with a difference & the only thing coming between them is the secret Ryder is keeping from skylar, that he's a wanderer, will he ever find the courage to tell her??
They are both living in heaven until disaster strikes one dark evening, can they get thro this??
This book had me smiling & crying, it was filled with so much passion you can't help but fall in love with them,
This book will have you hooked from the very first page, lacey & belinda are awesome authors writing on their own but together they are amazing, I was sure I would no who wrote what part in the book but it was that well wrote I honestly couldn't tell...
Definitely a 5* rating from me! we'll done ladies keep up the great work....

What can I say…except…wow, just WOW! I would give it 20 stars if I could!
Each of these authors do a great job on their own, that being said, the bar just got pushed through the roof!
They have created their very own “Fantasy-Paranormal Genre.” The story and characters are a well-blended bit of both. I read Sci-Fi/Fantasy, but am picky about it as it seems to me that some of it (OK, a lot of it) is just too far into (or out of) left field.
Let me preface this comment by saying…I am not a prude… but, I do enjoy using MY imagination while I am reading. The way the steamier portions of the book are written is amazing. There is just enough descriptive dialog/wording to rev the imagination, without having every single unnecessary detail revealed. They have proven once again that ROMANCE does not have to mean XXX!
They have also handled a horrendous issue in a very feeling/understanding way. Life, unfortunately, is not all champagne and chocolates, and this story deals with the many complexities of real life, the good, the great, and the evil. The story is fast paced (very hard to put down) and pulse pounding! They have discovered a new way to capture our interest with both the new story and characters. I cannot wait to see their stories/personalities broadened in the next book!

Super HOT and Swoony!!!
I was pretty sure that with Belinda and Lacey writing together that only good things would happen, and I was right. Unlike some other books I have read with multiple authors, I could not tell when one writer went to the other, it blended so seamlessly.
The story of Skylar Blue and Ryder is intense and swoony!
Skylar has moved to a new town to go to school, she doesn't know anyone and her roommate didn't make a very good first impression. When she literally bumps in to Ryder her life takes an interesting turn.
Ryder is a Wanderer, he has been around for a long time and has seen a lot of things. He has seen the Universe and the worlds that no one else knows exist. Somehow Skylar has made him want to stay where he is and learn more about her.
Through the story the bonds that these two make with each other are fantastic. I love the truthfulness of how Skylar reacts to the news that Ryder is a Wanderer.
When a horrible event happens to Skylar, Ryder is forced to make a decision to save her. But can her save her in time and what will that mean for their relationship in the end?
True to form, Belinda and Lacey leave you on the edge of the cliff wanting more! I cannot wait to read more from these amazing authors and more from Ryder and Skylar!

I am a avid Belinda Boreing reader so when I received this book as an arc I was sceptic only because I am so used to my Mystic Wolves series. One thing that Belinda is great for her books not only by helping you visualize the scene of where the book takes place, but that you also feel that the characters are people you have spent your whole life with.these were obviously brand new characters that we had to get that connection with and it took no time at all. I am not as familiar with Lacey, but Skylar and Ryder were amazingly written characters and their story was both tragic and awe inspiring. It was the true love that we all wish to find for ourselves. Of course at the end of the book they kill us slowly with a cliffhanger ending! The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is because I felt that the main characters moved so fast that it just seemed rushed, and then everyone was completely ok with everything they do. But still an excellent read!

This is a story written by two of my favorite Queens of Swoon Lacey & Belinda. Separately they are amazing but together they are out of this world amazing.
Ryder is my new book friend and once you meet him he will be yours also. Skylar is the girl we all love. She is sweet, smart, and sees beauty in everything. She is just a young girl starting college and looking forward to what the world has to offer. Ryder is a Wanderer, he wanders from place to place and planet to planet. He has never wanted to stay in one place long but all that changes when he meets Skylar. When these two meet the sparks are crazy between them.
I was sucked into this story from page one and when I was all done I literally wanted the next book. I couldn’t believe it was over. It had has the swoon worthy moments you can expect from these two queens of swoon. I am eagerly awaiting the next book. So please write faster Lacey and Belinda. 5/5 Bloody Fangs

This is one book that I knew right from the start, was going to be an amazing one. I mean how could it not. It was written by two amazing ladies.
Right from the start Ryder captured my heart. He was so sweet and funny that I couldn't help but fall in love with him instantly. Skylar stole my heart as well. She knew just what she wanted and had no fears going after them wholeheartedly. The love that flows from these two is something that everyone wishes and hopes for, yet never finds. Their love is pure and true and no matter what, you just know, that no hardship or flaw will hold them back.
As per true fashion my soul was lifted and I was filled with laughter, fear, passion, love and of course, sadness. I could never imagine the ending that came and will be holding my breath....once again....until the next book is out and I can find out what happens.

I have greatly enjoyed the fantastic books that both Lacey Weatherford and Belinda Boring have written individually, who would have dreamed that they would get together and write THE BEST BOOK EVER! I know, me neither, but it happened and now you can read the result.
In this book Ryder, am immortal Wanderer, in on Earth doing research. In an act of Fate he mets Skylar, a new to the area college art student. This book will take you on the journey as their relationship pogresses, Ryder 'meets the parents', and Skylar learns his secret. Will their relationship survive? Or will they forever lose eachother?
You will not be able to put this book (or kindle) down until you are done... even after you will be thinking about the experiences that both Ryder and Skylar went through. You will also wish that the next book was out already... its that good.

I love Lacey Weatherford and Belinda Boring’s books, so I knew a book written by them both was going to be Awesome! I loved this book! Skylar Blue is an artist, she has moved across country to attend Art School. She meets Ryder while she is moving into her new apartment. Ryder is a wanderer and has traveled all over the Universe, observing the different worlds, cultures, and societies. When Ryder meets Skylar they are instantly attracted to each other. This book has romance and mystery. I would defiantly recommend this book!! I can’t wait to read the next book in this series!!

OMG you did not just leave me hanging like that! I am still in shock and feel like I want to scream, cry and even throw my cherished kindle. Wow that is a cliffhanger to beat all.
I am totally in love with Ryder and would go anywhere in the universe with him. What a perfect leading man. "With Just one touch, he'd branded me his, forever." I couldn't have put it better than Skylar. The intensity of their budding relationship and the heat of their physical chemistry blew me away.
I adore this book and the originality of the story that authors Lacey Weatherford and Belinda Boring created. I couldn't put it down and now my heart aches for more. Brilliantly written and original. I will definitely be rereading this book. I highly recommend it!

I adore both Lacey Weatherford and Belinda Boring, so when I learned that they'd be writing this together, I wondered how they'd combine their different styles into one book. I can say that they did so seamlessly and Wanderlust did not disappoint. I couldn't put it down. I was finding every opportunity I could to keep reading. I read to escape into a different world. I read because it takes me places I'll probably never get to go. I loved going on this journey with Skylar and Ryder and I can not wait to see where two of my favorite ladies take us next. Wanderlust is simply out of this world.

I received a copy of Wanderlust by Lacey Weatherford & Belinda Boring in exchange for an honest review. WOW!! EXCELLENT STORY!! WELL WORTH THE WAIT!!! Is one word I can say about this book. Ryder and Skylar what can I say. Knowing Ryder is a wanderer every time I came across the word I kept singing the song The Wanderer by Dion. Lacey and Belinda did an excellent job with this story. When I found out that they wrote a book together I couldn't wait to read it. I was really excited that I got an ARC of Wanderlust and I am NOT DISAPPOINTED AT ALL!!! It is a must read. I found it to be a quick read.

Wow Lacey and Belinda did a wonderful job on this book. I really loved ryder and skylar they work so good together and I really loved the names also. The only thing I wasn't crazy about is they kinda feel in love a little to fast for me but other then that I loved it and it was the perfect love but omg what a cliffy. I was expecting it because Belinda is queen of the cliffys but I didn't expect it from Lacey. I would also lve to know who wrote what. This story was so we'll write that I could not tell who wrote what

A true love story
I do not like cliff hangers. But this book was so good I'll forgive you this once. This story is so different from others I've read I couldn't put it down. Such honest open love they shared. It touched my heart how pure and honest they treated each other, even though he couldn't tell her right off who he really was. I can only hope the next book has a happier ending and not leave us hitting a pillow screaming that it can't be left like this. That being said, I can't wait for the next book. Please write faster.

Belinda Boring and Lacey Weatherford have written an amazing book. What a great love story. I so can not wait for the next book in this series to come out. Ryder and Skyar have so many obstacles to face in their relationship. I am not certain how I myself would handle everything Skylar must face. To find out that the guy you are in love with is an offspring of angels and to learn all the hard choices you must make. It could be to much for anyone to face. The strength and courage that Ryder and Skylar must mustard to get thru makes you wounder is love going to be enough.

Wonderlust is a brilliant story of love and discovery that defies space and time. Ryder and Skylar as so cute together. At first I didn't like Ryder but he grew on me. By the end I was in love with him just like Skylar. This should be called the Ryder effect. The book is also heartbreaking and my heart almost shattered like Skylar's in the end. Cannot wait for book 2! Well done Lacey and Belinda!

Okay this book me took me by surprise. at first I thought it was going to be a beautiful sweet story of intergalactic love which it was it was happy and cute and charming and Ryder seemed like the perfect man and then BAM the ending what the hell I'm not even sure how to process everything that happened it went from happy too horrible in a matter of 10 15 pages I wish it wasn't so rushed towards the end but I understand cliffhangers are the way to get people to come back but wow

I'm going to be honest with you. At first I thought it would be another human and alien with angel twist to it. This book had me addicted to it. I couldn't put it down until I finished it. The story of love between Skylar and Ryder is epic. My heart breaks. What else can I say..... YOU MUST READ THIS BOOK!! I can't wait for another book or more of the story. Great writing Belinda and Lacey.

This was a great book by two wonderful authors. Belinda and Lacey did such a great job cowriting this book that I could not tell who wrote which parts. their characters the wanderer Ryder and human Skyler were very likeable. I am patiently awaiting the next book in the series. Great job ladies, keep up the good work.

WOW!!!!!! Two BIG thumbs up to Lacey Weatherfod and Belinda Boring. Mt two favorite authors joining together and writing this AMAZING book. I love the chemistry between Ryder and Skylar. Your combined imaginations had me hooked from the beginning. I love both of you and can't wait for the next book.

August 26, 2014I am going to refrain from rating this book because I cannot handle books with rape, I just can't. I am glad that wasn't until almost the end or this would have been my first DNF book ever.
The Wanderer aspect was interesting though. I might be able to read the next book, if there isn't anymore rape related stuff. Definitely insta-love happening in this book.

Well, that was certainly NOT what I was expecting!!! I always love an original storyline and this was one. The way Belinda Boring & Lacey Weatherford combined their artistic talents was amazing. I am definitely looking forward to more.
