Hunted by Muslim extremists for ten years, ex-Marine chopper pilot Carson Adams is forced from hiding when they track him to the Carolinas, then bait him to return to volatile Saudi Arabia. With access to the underground network of Christians in Arabia, and resources from C.O.I.L., Carson covertly slips into Mecca. Facing surprises at every turn, and finding help from an unlikely source, he still looks for opportunities to share God's Word in the closed country. In Arabian Variable, a covert, action-suspense by D.I. Telbat, we find that Prince Rashid and ex-Iranian Pasdaran Agent Fajl are fast on Carson's heels. God gives Carson refuge in a junker helicopter in the midst of Mecca, even as he plans the rescue of a kidnapped family. His secret contact in Israel may be his only hope when all seems to be lost.
Who could know that smuggling Bibles would be so perilous? Can Carson Adams show the love of Jesus Christ even to those who are trying to kill him? And who from his past is really his greatest foe? Arabian Variable is a 76,000-word knock-out novel of thrill, action, and suspense! Cover art is by Cindy L. Anderson.

I've been writing novels and short stories since I was a young teen. God has greatly impacted me, and I now desire to honor the Lord with my life and writing.
My stories can be read in several online and print publications, as well as three anthologies. My bestselling COIL Series include novels Dark Liaison, Book One; Dark Hearted, Book Two; Dark Rule, Book Three; and Dark Vessel, Book Four, and are available at most e-retailers, as are Jaguar Dusk, a Christian Special Forces novel, Sea Scribe, a Covert Christian Mission Suspense, and End Times Novel, God's Colonel. See my website for other novels and stories added often, including Dark Cover, COIL Book Five, to be out late 2014.
I offer free weekly Christian short stories, or serialized novels, my Author Reflections, and occasional challenges to the Christian Church on my Telbat's Tablet blog at http://ditelbat.com.
When I'm not writing, I'm very involved in Christian ministry. I've kept my home office in the NW U.S. where my assistant, Dee, lives and helps with my editing and writing needs.
My motto: There is no redemption without sacrifice.

Excellent book, one of the best books I have read.
This is a very good book! It is definitely worth your time in reading. Get it and you will not regret it. One of my favorite parts is where they were escaping in the chopper and it goes down and he is with his family. They almost do not survive they are clinging together and barely holding on to life. It reminds you how important family and faith is.
One of your very best! Although, I think I say that about all your books. Fast moving, exciting, hold your breath moments, scary and then there's love. People risking their life for strangers. Why? Because they are fellow believers and have put their lives in the good Lord's Hands. Great. Great. Great. A must read. Thank you for your excellent, inspiring work. God bless you.
Leaving your family at home to help a person who is a Christian who is a prisoner in another country and realizing your family was kidnapped because the bad guys are after you and rescuing them as well as the Christian in a hostile place is not easy for anyone. Exciting story.
D. i . Tel at is a true Christian. This book grabbed me from the beginning. Disc I ing what Christians, who put Jesus Christ first go through to live by his word. This is an action pact story. Read in a day could not put down. Want more of his bookd
Hope to hear more from the Arabian Variable in the future. I enjoyed this book much better than God's Colonel which came just before this book, both as standalone novels.
I enjoyed the twists and turns of this page turner. Had me guessing the direction of this story line which never seemed to go where I thought it would. After reading most of Telbats books how did I miss one of his first before the C.O.I.L. Series.
Never-ending action from the beginning to the end by one of my favorite authors! Going through impossible situations with stealth and the grace of God!
