★★★★ 1/2! Blake Law Barrington Exposed, part 2.1. A rare glimpse into the mind of Blake Law Barrington!

“I cannot let her have the upper hand. This has to be all my way. And there is no highway for this little bird.”

Books in series should be read in order:
Book 1: The Billionaire Banker - Blake & Lana
Book 2: Forty 2 Days - Blake & Lana
Part 2.1: Exposed - Blake & Lana
Book 3: Besotted - Blake & Lana
Book 4: Seduce Me - Julie’s story
Book 5: Love’s Sacrifice - Blake & Lana

Blake Law Barrington Exposed should be read after chapter 3 of book 2, Forty 2 Days.

It consists of 2 bonus chapters allowing for a rare and priceless glimpse into the mind of Blake Barrington during the meeting at the bank in the opening of book 2.

It was amazing to know his thoughts, feelings and struggles. We are also treated to a Q & A with Blake and a flashback into an event in Blake’s childhood, leaving us with a cliff-hanger of sorts!

Yes it was brief, but it was perfection!

“Not having total control over my own impulses makes me feel vulnerable and defenseless. It is like falling backwards into nothing. I hate the sensation.”

I read this short novella in the back of "Besotted". In this small snippet we get the first couple of chapters of the second book in Blake's pov. I actually loved finding out how Blake reacted to a few of the really important scenes in the book. It was nice to hear that even though he was coming across as a cold a**hole, he deep down was fighting his feelings for Lana...and he actually didn't really hate her!! I am so in love with this couple that I have enjoyed any extra that I can get of them.
So thank you to Georgia Le Carre for giving us a nice brief look into the complex billionaire!
I love her writing, and have enjoyed all of the series so far. I can't wait to see what else is coming for this couple!!!

Blake Law Barrington..he makes the simplest things sublime!

This just goes beyond my expectation, where I thought after reading BESOTTED, it couldn't get any better. Hearing blake's POV, all that's in his mind, what he was thinking and feeling that very moment he set his eyes on Lana Bloom, was so memorable. Here's a man who's a master of seduction, a man who gets all that he pursues and owns all that he wants, yet she stole his breath, he was seized with this unthinkable urge to hunt--that is, to possess and own Lana.

This just made the already extraordinary tale of the BILLIONAIRE BANKER series even more captivating by hearing Blake's thoughts, this beautiful man who oozes with charm, power and irresistible sex appeal and can get any woman he likes, they practically fall on his feet. Yet, that one single moment he laid eye on Lana for the very first time, he was possesed by this undefinable desire, unbidden carnal thoughts played havoc in his mind--so carnal that sent tingling shivers down my spine. Suddenly, I want to be possesed, to be owned by this powerful, dazzling magnificent man. He maybe ruthless when it comes to business dealings but when it comes to Lana, he's gentle, an incredible sensuous lover, thoughtful and loving he makes even the simplest things sublime!

This remind me what literature could and should be, MS. Le Carre made me remember why I love to read. This is absolutely incredible, it will hook you from the first paragraph and it just gets better from there. As you continue and know more of what Blake feel for Lana, things he wants to do to her, with her and for her, especially those painful months they were separated, it will tear you to pieces as well as capture your heart. Blake Law Barrington is not only one passionate mystifying man, he's arrogant but confident, when aggrieved he's brutal, when he loves he loved fiercely and give it his all. In other words...Blake Law Barrington is simply divine!

Fuck me, that gave me tingles!
My five stars are for Blake's pov which was absolutely perfectly written - I felt it.

I was straight back into this fantastic series.
Reading Blake's pov hasn't numbed the hurt of how he treated her in the bank. Jesus, he was so harsh about her jacket etc I hated him. Then, when he wanted her to turn and look at him from the car, it was so desperate I loved him.

I could read one and two again!
Can't wait for three and four!! Not long now!

Pre-review:
Squeeeee! VERY excited to have this little one!
I needed Blake's POV badly!

An excellent addition to The Billionaire Banker series. Having read The Billionaire Banker and 42 Days, which were written from Lana's perspective, I loved reading some of the key scenes from Blake's point of view. I felt a little disconnected with him in the first book, then warmed to him in the second, but this has really helped me appreciate how genuine his feelings for Lana were / are and it makes it all the more clearer as to his reservations to get too attached and bring her into his world. You could really empathise with him having read this. Great idea to wet my appetite and refresh my memory ready for the launch of book three Besotted. Bring it on Georgia!

A nice snippet of scenes from Blake's perspective and a couple of teasers for what's to come. A bit short for my liking, but as the offering is free - no real complaints here!

To avoid spoilers, be sure to read the first two books in the series: Book 1 (now renamed), Owned and Book 2, Forty 2 Days.

Informative

This ties in Blake's point of view and a questionnaire at the end about everything I wondered about. I'm really glad I bought this book

This is just a compilation of a couple of the books first couple of chapters which are usually listed at the back of the book anyway. There was nothing in this book that I had not already read in the main books. I would skip it. Happy Reading

I loved this short story couldn't put it down. This story is by Blake's point of view when Lana comes back a year later. Blake had the banks monitoring for any activity by Lana and there was nothing until one day when she apply for a loan to start a business. When Lana walks in to the office Blake sees the shock on her face when she sees him. Blake hates this woman now for leaving him when he was down, but he still can't stay away so he tells her that she still has 42 days left on her contract. Blake decides to go see Victoria to tell her that he can't marry her, but when he leaves thinking everything is fine Victoria goes crazy. When Blake sees " Billies baby " for the first time he knows immediately that that is his son.

I found it very interesting. I kind of felt that that was some of what Blake was thinking. I liked the questions and answers session with Blake.

Overview

The COMPILATION includes...
The first two chapters of Forty 2 Days told from Blake Law Barrington's POV,
bonus teasers, excerpts and a Q & A with Blake.

My Thoughts

Not quite a novella - but always nice to get a reverse POV on things that we've read before. The good thing about this series though i have to say is that you don't have to have it fresh in your mind to be able to pick right back up - that's how compelling the story is. So when we get jostled around a bit through a few installments to get Blake's POV, it's not hard to remember exactly where we are in the story.

so...not enough to make me take pause before diving into the next book, but a nice way to spend the last 30 minutes or so.

This book has segments of the books 1 and 2 from Blake's perspective. I read it after I read book 1 and book 2 and it was useful to get inside his head.

There are particular scenes - when Blake sees Lana again after a year in the bank; when he sees his baby for the first time; Georgia does a good job getting inside his head.

This is an add on and know that it is very short and does not flow like a normal book, it is really segments of the previous two stories.

After reading the first two books in the series, I was really pleased when I saw this as I had felt that Blake's Pov was something that was missing from the books. So many times I wanted to be in his head, I needed to know what he was thinking. Exposed gave me, Blake’s POV for some key scene from the last book, which i really like, but it also made me want more....

A few chapters from the first two books of the series from Blake's POV. It is always fun to see how the other character's mind works. And Blake is the most interesting of them... It is great to learn what his feelings were when he saw Lana again, how quickly he caught on to his dad's and Victoria's ploys, most importanty how soon did he see that Sorab was his...
