Part VII in the Beacon series is an excellent bridge between everything that's happened in the series so far and the final book. There's a great deal of dramatic tension. There are also hints that the two miraculous babies and their special gifts will play a major role in the series' finale. I'm looking forward to reading the final book to find out exactly what happens to the characters and their unique world.
