From USA Today bestselling author, T. Sue VerSteeg...
Most women have those two very distinct, very different voices in their mind. One can usually be chalked up to common sense, the other to mischief, mayhem or just plain morbid curiosity. Both are always there, though, ready with their two cents worth.
Jemma Keith is no exception to the rule. She doesn't have a problem agreeing to photograph her cheating ex-boyfriend's wedding. The dilemma, however, is what to do once she gets there. Common sense feels like taking the high road; she can handle being the better person. Mischief wants to slither in, crashing the whole affair down around his worthless ankles.
What's a woman to do when she can't make up her mind?
At least both sides are in complete harmony about the bride's cousin, Anthony he's hot, handsome, and oh, so tempting.
Join Jemma as she weaves through a web of lust, temptation, revenge, and maybe even love.

Cute and quick read. Though frustrating at times. I'm glad Dalton got what was coming to him but Jemma really should have come clean way before the shit hit the fan. But luckily it all worked out. My biggest "is she for real???" moment was when . I liked the banter between Jemma and her brother. Their relationship reminded me a lot of me and my own siblings. Plus I enjoyed the Springfield setting since that is where I'm from. I recognized many of the places mentioned in this book.
I thought the narrator of the audiobook, Melissa Moran, did a good job.
I ate up My Ex-Boyfriend's Wedding in one sitting. It was fast-paced, entertaining and engaging, with some surprising plot twists. A perfect fit for a weekend read. I don't like books that bunch up or bind or chafe or dig sharp edges into me. When a story is good, you sort of forget you're reading a book...just like you forget you're wearing underwear.
My Ex is smooth, seamless and sexy. Like really good underwear.
When I picked up this book, I couldn't fathom why a person would agree to shoot their ex-boyfriend's wedding. Not only did VerSteeg make this story believable (I probably would have done the same thing) she made you root for Jemma. The thing I liked most about Jemma, is that she is a real person. She's flawed and a bit awkward, like we all are and she handled real life like most people would (within reason). Bottom line, great story, great characters, and I look forward to reading more from VerSteeg.
I made it to chapter 17. Then the plot started to thicken in a baaaaaad way. Abduction? Truly?! That was too much for me, even given that anything is possible in the US. I bailed.

When Jemma Keith agrees to be the wedding photographer at her cheating ex-boyfriend's wedding, she gets much more than she'd bargained for. First, she gets the new camera and printer that she needs to take her business to the next level, then she gets the bride-to-be's hot Italian cousin, Anthony, who she needs to take her to seventh heaven. But when Jemma catches her ex kissing another woman right after his trip down the isle, one-by-one things start to go terribly wrong. Can Gemma clear up the lies and misunderstandings before she loses Anthony? Or is she destined to remain, as her business name suggests, "Always the Photographer, Never the Bride"?
My Ex-Boyfriend's Wedding definitely delivers on its promise of "lust, temptation, revenge, and maybe even love." But this book goes beyond what you typically expect from the genre. Just when I thought the story was ending, I found out there was so much more yet to come. And I couldn't tear myself away. Bravissima!
An everyday story, of an everyday girl (with a little extra steamy details and the hot Italian guy), funny, delicious, and somewhat of a 'the ex got what he deserved' thingy, I really enjoyed listening to it very much. I was given the audio version of the book and I must say that Melissa Moran is an excellent narrator and makes the story even funnier, I really liked her performance very much. Definitely a good one :D
One of the worse I've read this year. It was like a bad soap opera. The insta love was completely exaggerated, literally they just say each other and they already wanted to get married. I was like what the hell? In most parts of the book. The main character lacked personality and she was plain dumb. I really don't know why or how I finished this one.
There are no words. I'll just say....awful writing. These 29 other reviews must clearly be friends and family of the author. I don't think I can even read the last few pages. I've never read anything so bad.
Some parts were a little entertaining but the story was just overly ridiculous. So much drama! The instant love was exaggerated. The main character lacked personality and there is no character development at all.
Oh dear... this was? Um... trying too hard and really not succeeding. There were numerous errors throughout... poor character development... so many tropes I gave up counting. Just not a good read for me.
I have less than an hour left but I’m suddenly done with those book. It started off “minimal” drama (compared to the shenanigans towards the end), and then the drama kept increasing exponentially. The plot wasn’t fleshed out enough for all the craziness that happens in the last 3rd of the book or so. I also don’t like the audiobook narrator, she makes everyone sound whiny and pouty no matter what they’re saying. Very meh.
Actually i found out this audiobook unexpectedly, i was intrigued to listen to, so far i enjoyed it, but I thought this story was not that special, yeah i had read enough story like this one, i think my half rate is enough :)
This was entertaining but not great. The characters didn't really make sense, and I'm not sure in what world Jemma wouldn't have been fired from the wedding.
Should she stop the wedding? She is getting paid well to be the photographer? Does the girl know what she is getting herself into? Then the bride is kidnapped? What is a girl to do? A good read.
I kinda hate that the Female Lead is portrayed with a strong personality but at the same time stupid when it comes to her decisions which get her into so much trouble...
Other than I think she should have grown a back bone sooner and been more truthful to her boyfriend and his cousin sooner rather then later. I enjoyed the book.
This started out good and then it just felt like the story went off the rails in terms of plausibility. I like drama, but the direction this story went regarding the ex-boyfriend, well, it just felt a bit stretched as far as convincing the reader what a horrible person he was. I already didn't like him, so it wasn't necessary to push him into the zone of hatred. And the heroine's brother, his story line was far fetched, too, as far as his character transformation once he fell in love.
I find myself leaning towards romantic comedy more and more, and loved the premise of this book. The main character, Jemma, is snarky and smart and doesn't take any guff off of anyone. The hero is the type of guy we'd all like to fall for - handsome, muscle-bound, and rich. And, of course, head over heels for Jemma. The premise is that Jemma is trying hard to put her ex-boyfriend behind her and build a business as a wedding photographer. When his new fiance asks her to photograph their wedding, at a can't pass up price, Jemma decides to do it. What better way to put him firmly behind her and show that she's over him?
I was surprised how quickly we arrived at the wedding. The wedding isn't the big finale I was expecting. There is a lot of action that takes place after the wedding - actual action. It's still what I would consider a romantic comedy, but the last half of the book adds a nice dash of action and suspense, while still maintaining the fun feel of the book, thanks to Jemma. My favorite scene is her in her ex-boyfriend's wine cellar - I would've done the same thing!
If you're looking for a fun read, with a bit of action and plenty of romance, pick this book up. It'll keep you turning the page!
Jemma Keith has been through hell - a cheating boyfriend, a bad break-up and heartbreak. After a six month recovery period, she is concentrating on her wedding photography business. When her ex wants her to take pictures at his wedding, she is angry that he is taunting her. Can Jemma back down from his challenge? This story is a wild ride filled with romance, tears, anger and danger. The characters are amazing. I have never disliked anyone as much as I did Dalton Blackwell, the cheating ex. He's despicable. I loved Jenna and her close knit family. Her brother, Mikey, is a card. When she finds a new love interest, I cheered. Anthony Giovanni, the new bride's cousin, is a keeper. I loved the snappy humorous dialogue and the developing romance. The ending surprised me. I wasn't expecting it. This is the first book of T. Sue VerSteeg that I've read. I enjoy her writing style. She hooked me with her fast-pasted story. This book is a keeper.
Nerves at first sight? Like at first sight? Love at first sight?
My Ex Boyfriend’s Wedding is a super cute story and another that I read in one or two sittings despite the length. Jemma followed her photography dream and landed a gig shooting her ex boyfriend’s wedding. The usual ex-to-ex arguments, lots of family love, a charming man and a pretty big misunderstanding kept me engrossed from beginning to end. At one point, I’m pretty sure I woke one of the cats up yelling at a couple of the characters.
Just noticed there is a paperback copy available. Will definitely be buying!!
Thank you T. Sue Versteeg and Halliday Publishing for the opportunity to read such a wonderful story! Might there be a part two?
so Jemma catches Dalton her ex cheating- dumps him and moves on- then out of the blue her Daltons father in law to be ( who is also Dalton's boss) calls up saying he will pay an outrageous amount of money for her to photograph the wedding- against her better judgement she says yes to a meet with the bride--- problems arise when she decides she likes the very pregnant Katie and really likes Katie's hunky- cousin Tony --- eventually Tony and Jemma date and things get steamy as well as very very complicated- seems Jemma neglects to tell Tony or Katie that she was living with Dalton when he was cheating with Stacy and apparently engaged to Katie all at the same time. Throw in family from both sides- a big misunderstanding or two at the wedding- and you have a quick - fun- steamy - romantic read - that is just perfect for summer
This was a wonderfully funny, very well written story. I loved Jemma, her brother Michael and her fantastic extended family!!!
Dalton Blackwell was an idiot and I am so glad he got what was coming to him. When he recommended Jemma for his wedding photographer on his marriage to the bosses daughter I just wanted to hurt him. And I loved that Michael met the love of his life through this.
This is a wonderful story. It runs the gauntlet of emotions and I loved it. It was so well written that I was hooked from the very first page and I did not put it down until I was finished. I will be re-reading this story and I can't wait for more books from this author. Awesome!!
I received a free copy of this book in return for an honest review.
This was my first time read a book by T. Sue VerSteeg and it definitely won't be my last. Jemma Keith broke up with her cheating boyfriend Dalton and six months later she is contacted to take the wedding pictures of her ex-boyfriends wedding. Jemma meets Kate and her cousin Anthony to discuss the pictures to be taken; however, Anthony and Jemma are taken with each other. Dalton is marrying his bosses daughter, Kate. Before the wedding Dalton tells Kate's mother she is his ex-girlfriend and trouble begins. After he is married Jemma catching him kissing the girl he cheated on her with a takes a picture. When Dalton sees Anthony coming he kisses Jemma and Anthony walks away from Jemma. Is this the end for them? Great book and I would highly recommend to everyone!
Fast paced, entertaining - a quick read. There's nothing like a wedding to bring unity and peace to all, right? Think again. Jemma, the wedding photographer, just broke up with her boyfriend, Dalton, who I wanted to punch in the face all the way through the book, quite honestly. Quite by accident, she's hired to photograph the wedding of a wealthy businessman's daughter. She can't turn the deal down - it pays too well, and Jemma needs the money. And who is the daughter set to marry? That's right - Dalton.
Now what could go wrong?
Well, pretty much everything. Except that Jemma meets Tony. And I'll leave you with that.
So, if you're looking for a sweet, entertaining read, pick up this book.
This book was such a fun read! I absolutely loved it! Jemma is a strong, fun, witty character who was so easy to like. Tony is strong, sexy, and charming. I think I fell for him the moment he entered the picture! I loved her loud mouthed little brother, and the ex-boyfriend Dillion is a perfectly hideous person. The characters in this story are so real and easy to love. I found myself wrapped up in this story from start to finish. This is a definite must read for anyone who loves a great, humorous, love story
