Escort #2

Unforgivable Sin

Rate this book
In book two of The Escort Series, Troy Thompson and Emilie Watson are finally admitting their feelings and thinking about giving a relationship a try.
What happens, though, when being an escort in Sin City isn’t the only problem to worry about when starting a new relationship?
Someone from Troy’s past is back. Carla was the love of his life, his ex-fiancé, and the woman who committed what most consider an unforgivable sin. A sin that forced him to believe he’d never love or trust another woman again.
With Carla doing her best to convince Troy that she’s changed, and showing up to his house with talks of friendship, Emilie is left to wonder if her and Troy’s connection is strong enough to withstand the return of his past.
Is Carla truly back to heal old wounds, and get closure on their relationship? Or is she back to do whatever’s necessary to be the only woman in Troy’s life?

Without giving anything away I wanted to post one of Troy's quotes. Ladies get ready for Troy. This man should come with a warning label.

“Fuck, Emilie,” I growl. “You know what I want, baby.”

Well...what can I say. I read it and finished it but can't say it was uber exciting for me. This is the first escort book I've read that hasn't been a four star read minimum. Not that this is really an escort book...

Photobucket Pictures, Images and Photos

Troy is the friend of the hero in Living in Sin, Jace (now THAT book I liked a lot). But I digress. He and Emilie were briefly introduced in Jace's book after a smoking interlude in a closet at (I believe) a wedding. Emilie won't commit to dating Troy until he gives up his job as an escort.

Troy has trust issues. Ever since he caught his fiancée Carla banging his cousin in his own bed five years ago, he hasn't had a committed relationship...until he meets Em. He wants something more with her. He's willing to give up being an escort for a chance at long-term happiness with her. It all seems to be heading in the right direction until dearest ex Carla comes back to town. She's determined to get Troy back.

Well, Carla took the cake for psycho bitches. At any given point in the book, I was....

Photobucket Pictures, Images and Photos

Just when Troy commits to trying to maintain a trusting relationship, Carla starts a shitstorm of epic proportions.

Not sure what didn't hit the mark for me. The plot was definitely predictable. The book, in general, seemed to be filled with needless details almost in an effort to make some sort of word count quota. An example would be (book is in alternating 1st person POV of Emilie, Troy and Carla)...we would "live thru" a scene with say, Em...well, in the next POV, the author retells the entire scene with Em telling Troy what happened. It seemed totally redundant. It's not like we got more information...just a re-telling of a scene we already saw. Confused?

The book had some steam. Not crazy steamy but okay.

We have a big set-up for a future book with Mark...almost too much focus or set-up in this particular book without getting any answers. It was more than a teaser but not enough to know what the heck is his story.

Anywho, I wish it hit mark like Jace's book but not so much. Will I read the next book? If it's Mark's, oh hell yes.

Moving on....

And I thank you!

Book out NOW!

I urge you to read the first in the Escort Series, Living in Sin, before reading Unforgivable Sin although it isn’t imperative to do so.

Living in Sin ended with a budding friendship blossoming between two side characters – Troy and Emilie – and a deep need to see where their story goes. Unforgivable Sin is a direct continuation from the first book and flows into their story perfectly with ease.

You find out from the beginning that Troy has had no relationships for the previous five years due to having his heart broken by his ex-fiancée, Carla. He has no desire for one and just knows that he won’t ever be able to trust a woman again. He has been ruined and broken beyond repair. The demise to their relationship is why he became an escort.

We know from Living in Sin that Emilie – or Em as she is known to her few friends – has a spirit and personality that is as outgoing as they come. She says what she thinks and isn’t afraid to say it how it is. Therefore, I wasn’t surprised to see her be upfront with Troy and say that nothing can happen between them all the while he is still an escort.

Emilie and Troy – doomed from the beginning? You’d think so.

Troy decides that Em is worth the risk of a broken heart and quits his job as an escort to concentrate on taking their relationship to a more committed level. Happy days. That is until Carla reappears on the scene. I mean, bad timing or what?!

Carla – to put it politely – is bat sh*t crazy. There are twists and turns throughout the whole story which revolve around this love triangle of sorts. I won’t give any away but I gasped, I almost cried, my heart stopped and I laughed alongside these characters as I followed their lives. Isabel has a way of turning what could have been just a sweet, romantic story and giving it a big ol’ shake up! With a healthy dose of the hot and steamy scenes we've become accustomed to, naturally! ;)

Emilie endures the pain and newness of a relationship with a man who has a past – one that just isn’t going anywhere anytime soon without there being drastic measures taken. You gain information about Emilie and Troy’s friends throughout the story – getting more told about Jace and Adrienne’s relationship continuing from Living in Sin and a fantastic set up for the next story in the series – albeit information that can be perceived in more than one way including two new characters to the books.

Do Emilie and Troy wade their way through the troubled waters together? Do they get their HEA? There is only one way to find out – READ IT!

Thank you Isabel for another 5 star read from me; I am eagerly awaiting the next story – Marc’s which, from the tidbits of information you deigned to give us in Unforgivable Sin, is going to be a humdinger of a book and I cannot wait for it! I LOVED the three way POVs and could see some of your sense of humour and personality shining through the story especially in the banter between Emilie and Adrienne and, for me, made the book that much more knowing how much of your flare you have inputted into the story. <3 <3 <3

Oh! And guys, check out the acknowledgements - yours truly is mentioned BY NAME! Boo yah! ;) :D

Great addition to the series. There was more suspense and Carla is bat shit crazy. 4.5 Stars. The one thing that really annoyed me is that Em whined too much.

I've already got the third book.

I want to shout from the rooftops about how much I love this series. It is so different from the other Erotica Romances out there today and to me, that makes it a definite 5 star read. But I know 5 stars are not nearly enough… how about a bazillion stars for this one!

Unforgivable Sin is the second book in The Escort Series. If you have not read book one, Living in Sin, you are missing out big time. Unforgivable Sin follows the story of Troy and Emilie from book one. They want to give a relationship a try, but Troy has his trust issues and Em has a, ummm… well I guess you could call it, a dilemma, (since Troy is a male escort and all). Just throw in an ex-fiancé for good measure and you got some definite crazy love triangle action going on. This story has you in for one wild ride.

I had so many thoughts and ideas running through my head while reading this book, I was all over the place, “cra-cra in da house”. One chapter I was cheering, the next chapter I was upset, and the next chapter I didn’t know if I was supposed to be excited, mad, or in need of a good shower (if you have read LIS – just know Isabel doesn’t disappoint in Unforgivable with the smexy stuff… trust me).

The mystery and suspense sucked me in and the way the plot twists were written had me second guessing my suspicions and even surprised me at some points. Book two is very different from book one, but in brilliant, refreshing way. If you’re worried you are not going to get enough of Jace, Adrienne, Marc and the rest of the boys, don’t worry you will get plenty of them in this book. I am a “series girl”, I love them. I always want more of my favorite character and in Unforgivable Isabel writes with immense emotion and shows excellent character growth, this series just keeps getting better and better.

Isabel can do no wrong in her writing as far as I am concerned. This book is just proving why she is an Amazon Bestselling Author. I can’t wait to see where she is going to take us on Marc’s journey.

2.5

The thing about reading a book involving side characters from a previous story is that I tend to begin writing their story in my head. So when the author takes a path I haven't foreseen I get a little disappointed and feel cheated with the story that was written as opposed to the story I wanted written.

That being said the story wasn't bad. I wanted so much more for Troy and Emilie but instead all I got was the cliché crazy ex. I knew that Troy had hang-ups regarding his past relationship but I would have liked them tackled differently.

Whereas Adrienne and Jace's story was fun and all about falling in love for the first time Troy and Emilie's was just too serious and drama filled. A lot of the excitement regarding the newness of their relationship was eclipsed by focusing entirely too much on his ex.

I just... wanted better. I fell in love with them in the last book and waited with baited breath for their story. So I'm a bit disappointed that the best parts of them were nowhere to be found. = (

After reading the first book in this series "Living in Sin", I fell in love with Isabel's style of writing and became a fan for life! If you haven't read "Living in Sin" stop reading this and go get it now! You will not be disappointed! We got to know both Troy and Emilie in the first book and I was very excited to read there story. These two characters have amazing chemistry and they really burn up the pages! There were some big twists in this book that took me by surprise. "Unforgivable Sin" has a very unique storyline with a great element of mystery. It was great to catch up with Jace and Adrienne and we got some great scenes with Marc that made me super excited for his story!!! These books are super steamy, romantic and fun! Zero complaint here just eagerly awaiting the next book in this series!

The story of Troy and Emilie is finally here! This book is just wow! You have playfully, crazy psychotic, a little sadness and sexy time!!
Troy has had his heart broken before. And for him to give his heart back to someone is going to have to be someone that is special. Emilie is just that woman. She is the woman version of Troy she is funny playful and sexy.

Together they have hot explosive sex that oh my gosh just leaves you begging for more.
Unfortunately Troys psychotic ex comes back in the picture and is not going down without a fight. After breaking his heart she is back with a vengeance. Can she break Troy and Emilie's relationship??

You need to 1-Click this book and find out you will not be disappointed!

Well done Isabel!!!!

What would be considered an unforgivable act? Is it lying? stealing? cheating? Five years ago, Troy’s fiancée committed one of these acts that caused him to lead a much different life than what he ever thought he would. Because of Carla’s deception, Troy closed his heart off and vowed to never love again thus, in a way, leading Troy to his career as an escort. But now all these years later, he’s reconsidering not only his profession but also his willingness to love again all because of a sassy woman who he can’t stop thinking about, Emilie. Readers were introduced to Troy and Emilie’s connection in book 1, Living in Sin, and their relationship grows as book 2 begins. But a complication arises that threatens to stop anything happening between them before it ever really starts – Carla. She’s back, and she’s determined to prove to Troy that she’s learned from her mistakes; she wants to reignite their relationship and live the life that they promised each other they would. But can you ever really go back after something unforgivable occurs? Living in the past doesn’t allow anyone to move forward, and if Troy wants Emilie to be his future, he needs to deal with his past once and for all, but that might be easier said than done with someone like Carla.

After reading Jace and Adrienne’s story, I thought Isabel Lucero would give readers further insight into the escort business and what it means for someone to get out of it to start a relationship, but that’s not what we got, and I loved that it was completely different than anything I thought it was going to be. In Troy and Emilie’s story, readers get a large amount of suspense and hot sex as well as a whole lot of Crazy with a capital C. I usually have a hard time reading stories with bat shit crazy antagonists, but the way Isabel writes Carla works extremely well. She’s a desperate woman whose life turned out completely different due to her own mistakes and that is clearly shown through her duplicitous acts. Emilie is a great heroine; her strength through all the chaos and her unwillingness to hide out proves she can conquer anything. What I loved most about her is the fact that she refused to give into her desires for Troy until he was out of the escort business; she didn’t compromise her feelings and that, in my opinion, was an important step for her in making a relationship with Troy work.

Unforgivable Sin is a great follow-up to Living in Sin. Sometimes when an author writes a series, the books can be a bit repetitive in subject matter, but that’s not the case in Isabel Lucero’s Escort series, and I can’t wait to see what new storylines will be brought into Marc’s book. With the little bit of insight readers get about him in this book, it will be interesting to see how everything plays out with his mystery woman.

A complimentary copy was provided by the author in exchange for an honest review.

The story goes up and down, it's okay, it's not boring but there are some parts that ain't necessary and so I just skipped those parts.

I don't remember reading the plot, I loved the first book so I was pretty sure I'd like this one.
The story haven't reached half of the story when it peaked, Carla, the crazy ex tried to kill Emily. So after that, I thought, what's gonna happen next coz scenes like that usually happens near the end of the story.

I kind of didn't like that Adriene and Jace had a chapter dedicated to them, I mean, the scene where Jace proposed should have happened in the first book, wherein they're the main characters coz I don't even remember them at all, their time ended when the 1st book did. Quite a few authors who write a series (w/ different main characters) does that, and I think they should stop. We don't friggin' care about the main characters from the other books anymore and would want the focus to be on the current main characters. Thank god they don't have their own POV's coz that would have sucked!

It was a no brainer what Troy had planned, then after everything, he went to Marcs and that was it, problem solved...yayks.

Book 2 in this amazing series and I just want to say, "hello Troy"!!!

If you haven't read this series you really should. A delicious group of escorts living a charmed life until that is..... until they fall in love.

Troy was a tough nut to crack. Still not able to trust after a painful break up, he's the one of the group most likely to remain an escort but that is until Em comes along. Despite his feelings and concerns though he takes a chance on love and despite his crazy ex, Carla re-emerging, they are determined to find their HEA, but will they?

Seriously folks, read this series, you'll love it!

Where do I start? First let me say I LOVED Living In Sin and the escort guys. Now after reading Unforgivable Sin, I am team Troy :)

We knew that Troy had issues and it was great to see his story and what happened to him.I felt so bad for him but totally understood why he was the way he is. Enter Adrienne's spitfire friend Em and the sparks fly between her and Troy. (hotness..omg) She has her issues as well. Can the both of them overcome their issues together? A blast from the past reappears and there were parts where I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what was going to happen next. Amazing!! It was great seeing the other guys and I am so ready for the next book which is Marc's :)

If you haven't read book 1, I highly recommend it :) You will love it leading up to this one :)

Awesome job Isabel! <3

Wow.. that was some unpredictable scenes. This book has a good storyline, if only I can get the deeper emotions in every character, and more for "the dark feeling"(??) I'm sure this will be bomb. Regardless though, it was a good read!

Now it's time to hunt for Mysterious Marc!!

Really like Troy and Emilie as a couple! They create BIG sparks when they're together. I mean BIG, NEON, SPARKLY, SEXY sparks! I attribute that to Troy's sheer abundance of animal magnetism. It's no wonder Emilie was jumping his bones every chance she got. So, yea... they're hot but they're also incredibly cute and openly affectionate... They are simply a perfect fit for one another.

Unfortunately, not everyone thinks they are great together... Psycho, psycho Carla. Damn. She can roll with the best of the crazies! Her alter ego was easy to figure out but it still kept you on the edge of your seat, just waiting to see what craziness she'd dump on Troy and Emilie next. Oooh, I hated her! I just can't believe how sneaky she was and how long it took for her to get caught!

The lie Troy told Emilie later on in the book broke my heart. I understand his motivation for doing what he did (to catch that delusional b****, Carla) but that didn't lessen the blow. BUT... it did lead us to finding out a tiny bit about what and who Marc has been hiding from everyone. Very interested in reading all about his story!

Liked getting the chance to see more Adrienne and Jace, as well as the rest of the guys too. I would love to see a wedding take place in the next book!

This is a no-brainer for fans of Living in Sin. You must read Troy and Emilie's story!

I enjoyed the first book so I was looking forward to this one. Unfortunately I have to admit, I didn’t enjoy it as much as the previous book.

One of the reasons is that I didn’t remember Troy and Emilie’s background as clearly as I’d like to since it’s been a while since I read the first book. I wished there were more descriptions of their physical appearance and their ages. I remembered from previous book about Troy being cheated on and we got enough info of that in the book. However Emilie’s back story was almost non-existent.

As for the story it was okay but it could be better.

I like that they had to deal with the psychotic ex, but the drama they had to go through felt too light for something so serious.

And the

was also below my expectation. It was just lukewarm.

P.S.: I’m wondering if all of the guys were going to quit when they’re in a relationship. I personally hope not because I’d really like to read a story where one guy had to balance his job and relationship.

I discovered Isabel Lucero one day when I was browsing for books under $5.00 and found Living in Sin. The blurb intrigued me and I finished the book that same day. I loved Isabel’s writing style; it was easy to read, creative, and HOT! I couldn’t wait for the next in the series to come out.

Unforgivable Sin was remarkable! I loved that we got to hear Troy and Emilie’s story from both of their POV’s and then to throw Carla’s POV in was a fantastic idea! This story was different from Jace and Adrienne’s as it had more drama and suspense. It kept me on the edge of my seat and I couldn’t put it down.

I would have liked it to be a little hotter but it would be hard to top Jace and his first chapter! I was very captivated with the tidbits about Marc towards the end and cannot wait for his story! ~ Tiffany, 4 stars

I read this a good while back! For the life of me I'm unable to understand why it was still sitting in my 'to read' list!
ANYWHOS from what I remember I liked this book a lot, aside from the fact that its the first interracial couple I have come across in all my readings.

The emotion felt real between Troy and Emilie!
The book was not at a moderate pace (in my opinion)
The sex 10/10 stars lol
and the psycho bitch of an ex! sigh Typical woman, man working his ASS off to provide for you and you treat him like garbage and NOW you want him back *rolls my eyes repeatedly* But alas she made the story even more interesting.

I wonder if any of the other fellas from sin city are getting a book
*keeps fingers crossed*

OH LAANNTTAAA, I’m fresh from reading this and WHOA, WOOWW. I have to start by saying it wasn’t as spicier and steamy as the first one as this one was a bit more informative on the character building aspect. Also it had a lot more drama and angst 👀🤌🏼

I was still here for it and I absolutely loved every minute of it, this is Emilie and Troy’s story and in book one we learned a little of Troy’s ex Carla and GUESS WHAT SHES BACK AND CRAZZYYY

We also get more of Jace and Adrianne and I loved it! I love seeing the character growth when I’m done ready a standalone series and reading them in the next book.

AND MARC, LINCOLN AND THALIA?? 👀🔥

I really did try, I'm sorry but I loved Jace's story more but I did like the suspense in this story but at times I did find it predictable like what Carla was doing with Troy's cousin, classy might I add too lol and the whole break up plan.
I wish there was more sex scenes after all it is an escort series but hey maybe I'm just a one track mind woman lol!
Overall I liked the story and I do hope Marc gets his own story because he is a mystery one which I would love to solve ;)

Review:
Troy is a man that doesn’t trust, love, or do relationships with any women. Not after being burned by his ex-fiance who cheated on him with his own cousin. That is why he turned away from his normal boring job doing what his father always wanted him to do, which was following in his foot steps. Once Troy found escorting it was perfect for him. No attachment, no relationships, just sex, all while making great money. It was working great until Emilie came into the picture. They met through their mutual friends Jace and Adrienne. Troy knew that he wanted more with Emilie but friends would have to work because he was not giving up his life for a women again.

Emilie was a stunning women and when you put that together with her outgoing personality, and a mouth that had no filter, she really was something else. She had noticed Troy before he had even laid an eye on her. He was a great looking man that stood out in a crowd after all! Emilie and Troy slowly become friends. They would talk on the phone every once in a while and go out to eat but that was were it stopped. They also had a few conversations about taking things to a relationship level, but one thing was always holding them back, Troy’s job. Emilie refused to date Troy if he was still escorting. She was not going to let a guy she cared for and dated share a bed with another women. But none the less Emilie put her heart out there and let Troy know if he wanted it, he could have it.

Carla, Carla, Carla. Carla is Troy’s ex-fiance that broke his heart by cheating on him in their own bed. Well she is back! Just sitting on Troy’s door step one night. Of course he is furious and wants to know why she is there and what she wants….but what she wants is him back.

Will Troy leave his job to give Emilie and a relationship a shot? What is he going to do with Carla and her reappearing in his life? What lengths will Carla go to to get Troy back? Hmmmm read the book and you will find out!

Isabel did a great job weaving a story between all three of these characters. I was sucked in from the first page and I had to know what would happen next. When Crazy Cunty Carla (yes this is my name for her) showed back up I knew shit was going to hit the fan, I just had no clue the twist and turns it would take!

Unforgivable Sin is full of suspense, hot sex, and Troy learning how to trust a women with his heart again. I loved that all the characters from Living in Sin reappeared in this book and we got to follow up on them and see what is going on in their lives. I have and will be recommending this book to my book friends, and now I’m recommending it to you. If you like a book that is full of suspense, hot men, and hotter sex I totally recommend Unforgivable Sin to you. But don’t forget to read Living in Sin first, Jace and Adrienne’s book!

So now I shall sit in the corner and twiddle my thumbs until Isabel says the wonderful words ” It’s Live” about Marc’s book, the third book in the Escort Series. I know Marc is going to rock my world because he is mysterious, quite, and keeps to himself. Those are the ones you always have to watch out for.

Kurzbeschreibung

Unforgivable Sin is the second book in Escort Series and chronicles the relationship between Emilie and Troy. Unforgivable Sin, and its predecessor Living In Sin, can both be read as standalone books and can be read in any order, however I would suggest reading them in order, just because you’ll get more out of the storyline as a whole, to see how the relationships are developed and how they play out. There are no cliffhangers and everything is wrapped up by the end.

Unforgivable Sin begins immediately where Living in Sin leaves off, literally. At the end of Living In Sin, Troy has asked Emilie to meet him at his home so that they can discuss their future together, only when he arrives home, he finds his former fiancée, Carla, on his doorstep, suitcase in hand. She comes to him with a sob story of her parents having passed away and a need to apologize for her past behavior, having cheated on him with his cousin. Troy, doesn’t fall for Carla’s act, but her return soon comes between he and Emilie, and Emilie has to face the tough choice of dealing with Troy’s bat-shit crazy (like seriously cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs) ex or moving on. Troy not only has to deal with Carla, but he must come to terms with possibly leaving his life as an escort behind in order to be with Emilie. Troy must also work through his trust issues, needing to realize that Emily is NOT Carla, and that he must have faith that she will not break his heart in the way Carla did.

Emilie has moved into the owner position at the coffee shop and finds that it quickly takes up a lot of her time. It is there she befriends Christine, and soon Emilie, Adrienne, and Christine become fast friends, doing the usual girl stuff like clubbing, shopping, etc. But when Christine starts to act a little weird and secrets and lies start to surface, Emilie and Adrienne are left wondering what Christine’s motives really are.

Unforgivable Sin is quite a different book than Living In Sin. Yes, there is still plenty of hot, steamy sex, but there is an element of a thriller in this book as well. Much like the last book, this one is also well-written and kept my interest from beginning to end. I loved the continued cultivation of the relationships between characters and the set up for the next book, which will feature Marc. Perhaps there was a little bit too much foreshadowing for the next book with the secrets Marc is keeping, but it is hardly what I would call a cliffhanger. It will leave you wanting to read the next book, but it won’t leave you with the need to throw your kindle against the wall.

Unforgivable Sin was another solid four star read. Ms. Lucero is a great writer, crafting characters that are honest and believable as well as a storyline that will keep you engaged. Again, there are a lot of Vegas books out there and while this one doesn’t necessarily stand out from all the others, it is certainly well worth the time to give it a chance. I know I’m definitely looking forward to Marc’s story and finding out what exactly it is he is hiding!

This read like a romantic suspense/thriller which is completely different than book 1, Living In Sin. Troy did not disappoint...good story.

***** UPDATE ****** Blog Tour stop 6/20

Where to begin with this insane book??? And by insane, I mean crazy good! Unforgiveable Sin was definitely on my highly anticipated list of 2014. I fell in love with Living in Sin (book #1) and immediately wanted so much more from these characters. Unforgiveable Sin is book #2 in the Escort Series and while it is really different than book one, it is special in its own way. While Living in Sin was fun and sexy, this one read more like a romantic-suspense-thriller. Troy Thompson and Emilie Watson are the featured characters and from we gathered in book one, Troy is a great guy, but has huge trust issues. Emilie is beautiful, a good friend, and has developed this strong attraction to Troy. The big question is, will he leave his job for this great girl and finally allow himself to fall in love again?

"At least look at me when you break my f**king heart! If you don't want to be with me, have the balls to look at me in the face and tell my why!"

Uh yeah, Troy has feelings for Emilie, he wants her and she wants him. They are so good together and the sex is off the charts! So what's the problem? Well the sudden reappearance of his cheating, conniving, bi**ch of an ex! She is what turns this book from erotic romance to suspense thriller and at the time I read it, I wasn't sure I was happy with the turn of events. To say she is psycho is putting it mildly. I wanted to absolutely love this book just like I loved Living In Sin, but honestly as interesting as the plot and storyline was, it didn't flow as well as it could have. The peak came halfway through the book and I think that if it had been closer to the end, this would have been a phenomenal read. With that said though, I am still sticking to my 4 star rating because I love these characters, I love the fun part of the series, I love the friendship between the guys, and I LOVE the sexy as hell scenes that Ms. Lucero is so good at writing. #HOT

So if you are looking for romance, steam, and suspense, this is the book for you! I am excited about Marc's story and I cannot wait for all the secrets to be revealed. He may give Jace and Troy a run for their money!

The gang is all back in Unforgivable Sin and we were ready for Troy and Emilie to finally get it together. So I don't know why I thought this would just be Troy quitting the escort life and them getting their HEA. That would have been too simple...what I was not expecting was a whole lot of crazy!

What I loved...that we didn't have to wait until the end of the freaking book to learn why Troy had commitment phobia. That Carla bitch was on the door step at the end of Living In Sin, so Isabel wastes no time jumping right into the juicy story...and it made you hate that Carla even more. And who wouldn't love a story about a psycho ex-girlfriend who would stop at nothing to get her man back! And Carla was taking no prisoners in her quest to win Troy back. I loved the fact that you never saw this coming in the story...it just hits you like a truck. BAM! Seriously at one point I was like...is she? Did she? Are they? Damn this chick is crazzzzyyyyyy!

One of my favorite parts...was after their first "official" date and Emilie was trying so hard not to think about Troy naked. Ha! She wanted him bad and he gives her a kiss that rocks her world and then he leaves her wanting more. I knew at that moment Isabel had wrote some hot bedroom scenes for Troy and Emilie. 'I feel his tongue touch the skin below my earlobe, sending sparksthrough my body. I let out a small moan, and then he quickly turns and pushes me against the wall next to my front door. His hips are pinning me in pace, and his tongue and lips make their way down my neck.' See you are thinking the same thing...bring on the bedroom sex!

Even though this is Troy and Emilie's story...you totally want to know more about Marc and his little secrets he is keeping. He is worked into the book so well, and I am so waiting on his story. "I think Marc has a secret life. I've been suspicious of him for a while now. I mean, he's almost never around anymore." Just another guy for us to fall in love with...(sigh) I am drowning in escorts over here.

I hate I can't tell you more about this book, but I totally don't want to ruin it for you. Just go 1-click your copy, you will not be disappointed.
