2 Paranormal authors that will help you get there.

Dale Mayer - Tuesday's Child

What she doesn't want... is exactly what he needs.

Shunned and ridiculed all her life for something she can't control, Samantha Blair hides her psychic abilities and lives on the fringes of society. Against her will, however, she's tapped into a killer - or rather, his victims. Each woman's murder, blow-by-blow, ravages her mind until their death releases her back to her body. Sam knows she must go to the authorities, but will the rugged, no-nonsense detective in charge of tracking down the killer believe her?

Detective Brandt Sutherland only trusts hard evidence, yet Sam's visions offer clues he needs to catch a killer. The more he learns about her incredible abilities, however, the clearer it becomes that Sam's visions have put her in the killer's line of fire. Now Brandt must save her from something he cannot see or understand... and risk losing his heart in the process.

As danger and desire collide, passion raises the stakes in a game Sam and Brandt don't dare lose.

C.M. Owens - Deadly Beauties

Alyssa Coldwell decides to put her destiny as an immortal witch to the side, so she can take the chance to live like a normal girl amongst regular humans before she too is part of the fey world. She wants a break from magic and all the dangerous drama that comes with it, but life doesn't always let you do as you please.

Magic is supposed to be simple - you're either light or dark. But Alyssa is brutally awakened when she learns that life isn't always so simple. There are gray areas, and there is more to being light than simply saying you are.

But magic isn't her only problem, humans have problems as well. When she meets Kane Ice, she finds herself in a situation she's never been before. She's been sheltered by her overly protective mother, so being with a guy hasn't ever been an easy task. Kane makes it impossible not to try... while she can. Though she knows she'll have to leave him once her body turns immortal, she can't help but fall for him.

What's the problem with a witch loving a human? So, so many things. Her world is too dangerous, and her attempt to take a break from it fails miserably when her mother is taken captive. With danger always around her, she knows Kane will never be safe. But it's too hard to let him go.

Kane's not so fragile though, and he refuses to lose the only girl he's ever really cared for. Secrets are a part of Alyssa's life, but she's not the only one with a locked vault full of unspoken truths. When the secrets come out, Alyssa loses all her faith, her will, and her hope.

Believe: 2 Paranormal romances that will make you want...to believe! box set has the following titles Tuesday's Child by Dale Mayer and Blood’s Fury by C.M. Owens. I’ll update my review as I finish each title.

Tuesday's Child by Dale Mayer

Tuesday’s Child is the first book in the Psychic Visions series and it was just a great way to start off a new series. I just absolutely fell in love with this new world and new characters. I just couldn’t get enough of this world and it’s characters. I was sad to turn the last page. I can’t wait to see what happens next with this series.

Split Rating

The first short story is fairly good. No complaints about the storyline or the writing style. However, it is awash in cliches & catch phrases. The words journey, issues & healing were really given a workout. The second short story is a wannabe x-rated, formulaic Young Adult bit of dreck filled with the expected angst... with the 'heroine' stuttering & tripping often so that the smirking 'hero' can catch her... I vomited in my mouth a little. Yuck.

Read a similar book

I read a similar book like the one here. Linda Howard wrote a book named Dream man of course hers was better than Dale Meyers book, but a lot of what he wrote was like what she had in her book. I’m very disappointed in him for copying her😞....

Compelling story

Good book with a compelling story. I disliked the ending which was a cliffhanger. Darn it. Why do these all end artificially soon.

Brandt and Samantha's story is intriguing suspenseful. I loved how soldier was connected to the killer. Can't wait to read the next book.

Tuesday's Child by Dale Mayer
Stunning story of a psychics horror filled life as she and the killer's victims simultaneously experience the emotional and physical pain and terror of being tortured and dying. This is a great thriller/mystery in which the heroine, Samantha Blair, grabs onto your heart strings and pulls you into her sad world. Her detective and eventual love, Brandt Sutherland, is big as life and I felt his horror and despair as he watched Blair in the midst of a psychic thrall. Also included in this emotionally charged book are animals, love of animals, and animal heroes--it just doesn't get much better!. One thing I did like about this book is that it gave accounts of differing opinions on psychics such as you would see in the real world. One disbelieving detective was swayed to believe after seeing. Often in these books it is obstinate disbelief or unbelievable acceptance. This was a nice change.

This book has danger, desire, love, action, murder, passion, deceit and more. It is certainly a page turner! Definitely 5 out of 5 stars! I wouldn't mind reading more from Mayer. Highly recommended.

Deadly Beauties: Blood's Fury
C. M. Owens does a fairly good job of writing an action packed story that includes witches, lycans, vampires, warlocks, and lots of magic. There is romance, deception, passion, action, fighting, danger, and mystery. It seems as if Owens tried to get it all in one book. I felt as if the characters and the plot could have used a little more fine tuning or development. However, she does a good job of tying it all in together as I never really felt overly confused. This book is certainly a supernatural powerhouse!

There was some language that I was not to keen on and that was...letting out a laugh, chuckle, or giggle. There were several times I had to go back and reread the sentence as it an unusual way to state it. There were also some words used in places that they just did not seem to fit and I, again, found myself back tracking thinking that I had missed something.

I would recommend the book to anyone who likes paranormal romance. I give it 4 out of 5 stars. It was a good read. I will read more from Owens.

So I picked this up because C.M. Owens book was in it and I live her work and already read all of her books and figured if she put her work with another that the other author would have to be good..I was wrong.. the other author was awesome!

Tuesdays Child:
omg where do I start!? if I could give it more than five stars I would! amazingly written with no "I knew that was gonna happens". this book kept me in my toes and continuously intrigued... made a fan out of me!

Deadly Beauties..book one..:

Deadly Beauties Blood's Fury.

Ok, first, both books did not download together as they should have.

This book ends in a CLIFFHANGER!
Book starts out okay but drags on. She's 20 years old and seems to have no clue about the world of magic she comes from. She casts a spell it reacts to someone she didn't expect it to and never questions why. So much info that does not need to be in the story. I was ready for the end at around 60%. Now I find out it has 2 more books. No Thank You. I will not spend money on something so drawn out. I will assume Kane will need to work together with Alyssa to save them both from his sire. The end.

I loved reading these two stories. Both authors are amazing writers. I love the characters in both books. The stories were great and well written. The romances that ensued were quite hot and steamy. I look forward to reading more from both Dale Mayer and C.M. Owens.
