The Quest
In The Quest, a young girl, Aria, is chosen by fate to be the guardian of a very special book – The Book Of Life. She was given the book on her first birthday when her Godmother appears and gives her the special book warning her she must protect it at all costs as it contains all the important wisdom in the world. Alarmed at Arias’ terrible task, her parents want to spirit her away to avoid Singh, the terrible ruler who indeed will spend a lifetime looking for it.
Aria insists on carrying the suitcase that contains the book and while prancing vainly in new shinny shoes, she trips on the loading ramp of the plane, she hits her head and drops the case down into the swirling waters of the river below. The plane speeds away with her parents, taking them to a new world while she is left behind with the impossible task of finding the case with The Book of Life. She must begin her quest following the river to its end searching for her lost suitcase and the book. With a new found friend, and two animal friends – a trusted feline and his muse a tiny bird – can they find the lost Book of Life while still escaping Singh the ruler who is tracking them all the way?
