Not for me.

I didn't love it. I did get to the end though, waiting for something to happen.

The characters seem to be running around like headless chickens, sorry to put that vision in your head... No one seems to actually know what they are doing. A lot of this story is set around sitting in the living room, talking. The characters have no depth yet, but it is book 1.

Everly should have been easier to like than she was but because the story is so surface level all I felt was mehhh.

That ending is so cliche. I wasn't going to read book 2 anyway but creating scenarios in the last two chapters that were easily avoidable. Let's just say TSTL is just that.

Good Read

I found this book to be quite the page turner, especially once I found myself absorbed in the story. I love the mystery that surrounds the characters and I’m looking forward to continuing reading the story to find out what happens next. I would recommend giving this book a read.

Very disappointing. This book is full of mistakes and needs proper editing to make some of it easier to read. Bland storyline that is predictable and I'm not inspired to read the next in the series.

Good but predictable

I enjoyed the book even though the characters and plot were pretty predictable. There were moments where if the FMC and MMC would have just communicated it would have saved them a lot of headaches and it drives me nuts when they don’t. I’m not normally a fan of books when the plot is so tied into the characters not talking because it just seems like such a simple solution. With that being said, it was interesting and kept me engaged enough to finish and to want to move on to the next book in the series.
