This book is so interesting! I really liked Sade and how she is so confident! She is truly a force to be reckoned with! Learning her story through Gustavo was so sad but it made sense for why she is so strong. She is definitely one of the darker FMCs that I have read. Then we also get to know Valentino and both of them are forces to be reckoned with. Watching them do the dance with each other was fun. This book was too short for me! I wanted more!! So much more! I can't wait to jump into the next book.

There wasn't really any spice in this book. I just know that it's going to be amazing once we do get it. So no spice rating for this one. Overall, I really liked this book! It was such a good tease and the characters are memorable and I can't wait to read more. If you enjoy dark romance reads with strong FMCs then this is for you!

black women deserve to be loved and cherished. i love that our fmc lets her hero be a hero while still handling her business. i usually dislike the idea that a man comes and makes it all better, but i don’t think that’s what happening here. if you listen, know that everyone gets what they deserve.

Ok. I was not prepared for the intensity of the mind games, flirty banter, and overall theme in this story. Valentino aka Omen and Sade aka Milagro have sexual tension off the charts. I can’t wait to hear about possible betrayals and potential love conquests that transpire in the next installment.
