“These seats taken?” Jess enquired with a thrust of her bosom.Paul’s eyes were out on stalks.“I er no,” he stammered out.“Kewl, ladies.” Jess motioned for Mand and me to sit to either side of her.I slid my tray of culinary delights onto the table, oh yeah it’s chicken and broccoli pie with ‘seasonal’ veggies, peas and carrots to you and me.Once seated Jess started the introductions, “I’m Jess and these two are Lily and Sammi.”Drew thought that the trip to Blighty would keep him out of Gaby’s wardrobe - how wrong can you be! If it’s not cousin Maddy, its new mate Manda de Vreen convincing him to don a frock – in the cause of entertainment of course. On the way there’s the birth of Bernie’s bairn, a close encounter with the Olympic track squad and a weekend at Gran’s.It was never the intention to rewrite the volume and you’ll find the general flow unchanged complete with the original Tabaruka illustrations. However I hope that this Second Edition is a smoother read and that you’ll enjoy this re-edited version.I hope you enjoy reading this and look forward to seeing you all in volume 11!

Drew is almost in another car accident but narrowly escapes, a moped being the one to crash into a car.

Drew will be going to England for training but somehow still manages to get steered into wearing a female costume at a short con. Of course he wins.

Bernie has her baby with Gaby assisting and then Gaby/Drew meets the others he'll be training with. It's going to be a difficult training program but he seems to be doing very well. There is some discussion relating to his medical condition, though, and whether he would race in the male or the female category.

Altogether another good book in the series.
