Can love save a soul?

Cassandra Griman was caught in the wrong place at the wrong time. She'd stayed out at the bars until last call, and on her way home was cornered in an alleyway by four men. That night might have been her last...until she was saved by an angel.

But first impressions aren't everything, and Cassandra soon realizes that the captivating woman who saved her life is no angel. In fact, Elle is a powerful vampire who was exiled from Boston fifty years ago. But Elle has returned now to exact revenge.

And Cassandra is caught in the middle of it.

Elle is cruel and has a very dark past, but despite everything, Cassandra feels herself drawn to the mesmerizing vampire. Is there more to Elle than meets the eye, or is Cassandra falling for a woman far past saving?

A dark and sensual romance that explores power and love, the novel DARK ANGEL, will leave you spellbound.

I never hated as much a main character as I did with Elle 😂 but man I love her. the connection between Casey and Elle is just incredible even if Elle is a cruel and extremely cold person haha she just has something about her that we can't hate. I actually listened to this one and I have to say this was really well narrated, I would have put it at a four but I can't really do that now. Alec was a great side character and was also funny at times, Josie was well how to put it a nice way a piece of trash 😒 I hate these kind of people. however this was a good book, give this book a chance.

Jump all over the place, could not connect with characters and left to much out to truly enjoy. I would not recommend this to my friends at all.

Fascinating!

A profound love comes along and heals a shattered heart. I thoroughly enjoy this author’s style of writing. The words/thoughts were powerful. I felt them along with Casey and Elle. I was filled with fear towards the end. Now I can exhale. I enthusiastically recommend this book and any other works by Bridget. A very good read. Thank you. Peace

I don't know about this one. The story and the romance had me hooked, especially the connection between L and Cassandra, but somehow it fell flat in terms of story and dialogue. It needs either 200 more pages at this pace or a sequel to satisfy me.

As for the romance, if you're into the , then this might be something for you.

I really enjoyed this vampire book with a difference. I wasn’t sure that it would work when I read the blurb, but I was pleasantly surprised. If anything the chemistry between these characters was so much hotter than what I’ve read before. Absolutely fantastic performance from Lynn.

I rate this between a two and a three, but since I generally liked it I'm gonna go with a three. A shaky three.

I really liked the premise, the blurb got me sold. The execution, however, lacks. The story is a bit of a mess and all over the place - especially the thought process of the MC. One moment they were having a conversation, then the MC notices the table between them and how old it seems, just like everything else in the house. I didn't like that non sequitur (there were a lot of it). I get that the author was trying to paint a picture, create an 'ambiance', but with 'jumps' like that it ruins the moment/scene for me.

Some things got a bit redundant, too. Which made finishing the book a little trying.

If things were tighter, more cohesive this book could easily be a four.

Excellent I really love this book.

Take your time reading this. And when your done take moment to let it sink in. Dark Angel was incredible. I just didn't want it to end. A beautiful love story with so much emotion and feelings. Fear, hope, sadness, reality, sacrifice, happiness, confusion, and true love. Bridget captures everything and than some in this book.
