This story lost 1 star from me right at the beginning due to needing to continuously reread sections to try to figure out what was being said. Grammar and punctuation issues abound in this book.
It dropped a 2nd star because of the "uncontrollable lust" trope. I enjoy fated mate shifter stories, but even shifters are more than just animals. I feel that if we can train a dog to wait for a treat, a shifter should be able to control their sexual urges.
The 3rd star dropped due to head hopping, a.k.a. POV shifts mid-section. At times, the writer jumped so quickly between the perspectives of multiple characters so quickly that, again, the reader has to read sections multiple times in order to fully understand.
The final star came off at the end due to, once again, NOT BEING THE WHOLE STORY. You have to continue the series in order to get the rest of this couple's tale. I prefer standalone romances.
READ IT! I have become obsessed with this series! I have a continuous love/hate relationship with all of the characters which makes it so much better for me. I love to hate certain characters and watch them grow into characters I love!
The third person writing makes it so much better as we get to see the perspective of the different characters. Added bonus: there is gay representation in the series. I read the first book in a day and the first four books of the series in 5 days. I couldn’t put it down!
I received a free copy of this book and I’m leaving a review voluntarily.
1.5 stars.
Lets start at the beginning, I like the concept of this book, a badass female medic trying to be accepted in an all male special ops team. But there were a few thing very wrong in this book. It did not meet any expectations. The only reason it got more than 1 star is because of this, and the fact that the writing is pretty decent.
Beware of spoilers!!
Let’s start by the bullying done by Darius. He never physically abuses our main character, but verbally abuses her from the moment they meet. And the whole test to get on the team, how the f*** does anyone carry a grown man, twice your size and nearly twice your weight, several miles! That is physically impossible….
Secondly, the relationship between Kat and Ryan. Who the f**** sleeps with a guy after he just had sec with another woman, 30 minutes ago!!
And third, the whole roofie thing.. and than Patrick blackmailing her? And why doesn’t anyone report the guy because of all the pictures and the obvious drugging and sexual assault??
And fourth, the whole thing about Kat being a ‘Luna’, a special kind of shifter, but afraid of her wolf and never shifting and everything. It’s such a cliche…. It’s just not any good..
No, I don’t recommend this book and I won’t be reading the rest of the series.

OK so this is good it’s interesting and like a different take on. Shifter paranormal romance type thing. Which is nice, overall the book is easy to read and entertaining.
It’s also really easy to pick up and put down which has been helpful because I’ve had an insane week.
So yeah if you like the genre or if you just wanna pick it up and try it I would recommend this one
The only minor issues I had with it some of the dialogue is slightly clunky at times And I can be confusing in points. But again this week has been crazy and stressful and weird so that might be why I’m struggling
A very soli 4 stars.
Also sent this book for review from the TikTok TBR takeover
This book could be good, could be awesome and I keep reading the series like you watch a train reck, just to see what happens.... The premise is great, One special blood-wolf, only female in an military special ops group but.... Nothing happens, this super special wolf is not even strong, doesn't like to shift, pays absolutely no attention to her wolf... And then the completely ridiculous trials for her to be in the group, the abusive behavior of Darius, her acting like she doesn't know they are wolves and trying to send their blood to be analyzed, the hate that Darius feels for her and the abuse.... And her relationship with Ryan? And... should I say more.... She writes beautifully but I feel she doesn't know what she wants to do with the story and that is the biggest problem with it

This is a writing style that is unique and truly refreshing. There is no heavy use of a narrator and the plot progresses through the dialog of the characters regardless (so pay attention!) of their mood. This made me use my imagination throughout the flow of the story. Steamy (😊), foreshadowing and plot handled with care, realistic character development. The plot pieces are falling in place. Quite addictive!
This was my first read by Miranda McGuire, but it will not be my last.
McGuire's unique voice, her strong male and female characters and her plot that twists and turns will keep you turning pages. McGuire's characters are charming, quirky and too steamy for words. Wolf Team-Attraction not only has a strong hero, but a strong heroine as well and a group of secondary characters you will laugh at and fall in love with.
Sassy and spicy. A 18+ read Want a strong female lead? Do you want someone what challenges her? This book has banter that is fun and sassy. It has some major spice. Be sure to check trigger warnings. My one wish is that there was more shape shifting in this book. I'm looking forward the next in the series
The story pulls you into the story right away so you feel like you are part of the storyline. Very intense not for those under 18 . This author is new to me and I think I will be a fan for many years coming. She writes from a different perspective and that is awesome some authors can pull this off and she Is definitely one of them. Highly recommend.
It took a bit to get me into the book but it did get interesting especially in the more military bits of the story. Looking forward to seeing where the story goes!!
Oh my gosh! What happens next!!! What en ending. Kat is one bad a$$ woman, Digby is all man, and Darius just confuse s me. I am not sure if I like him or not. Intrigue with a little what the H3ll thrown in for good measure.
I liked it but didn't love it. There was some spice and over all I did enjoy this book but there were a few things that either didn't make sense, were skimmed over or changed.
