Carrie loves to geocache, as well as volunteer her time with a local animal shelter and rescue group. While she enjoys traveling, she likes to spend most of her time at home with her wife and dogs.
She has written ten books in the Somerville series, and has revised and rereleased them as an independent writer.
Carrie has also written four stand-alone romances and has several more planned.

This series and its characters have been my constant companion these past few weeks. It'd be bittersweet saying good bye to them as I feel like i've been witness to their growth and stories.

What’s not to love!
Never a dull moment with Lex and Amanda, because as always, trouble is looking for Lex. There's a lot going on again and I really enjoyed seeing how Lex and Amanda worked through every obstacle and drama that was thrown into their path. Beyond Always brings smiles, anger and all emotions in between. Plus the banter, interactions, the dynamics, the strong family bond and the supporting characters are so freaking good. It makes me sad when this 9th installment is the end of this great series. I really love this family.

Great series
I really !over the entire Somerville Series. The different characters and everything that happened
To Lex and basically anyone with her was a!ways an adventure. As much as I did enjoy the books at the end I was kind of disappointed. I wish you had one more book to tell me how the characters ended up.
Did Eddie grow up and take over the ranch or maybe
lorrie. What ever happened to Elizabeth? Did Hubert move back. Did he stay a nice guy. Did Martha end up adopting Jerry? For me I just did not have enough answers. I did love all nine of the books, in fact I'm still having withdrawal pains. So if you write a number ten it sure would be great.😍

This book was AWESOME! I love lex and Amanda and there is NEVER a dull moment! I love the fact that other characters were playing bit parts in this book. Especially my fave rodeo pair! I need more!!!!

This has been an wonderful journey to read of Lex, Amanda, thier family and all their extended family. I am hoping there is one or two more to wrap this series up, it feels like there will be.

Enjoyable ending to a nine book series about Lex and Amanda. If you've made it this far you're as invested as me in their story and although there could be other books written, this feels like as good an ending as any.

The best for last
I cannot get enough of this family, they are the best. Poor Lex can’t catch a break though, always getting hurt somehow.
Eddie cracked me up too.
I am going to miss reading about their antics and adventures. Enjoy!
