Standing over six feet tall, USA Today bestselling author Jonathan Moeller has the piercing blue eyes of a Conan of Cimmeria, the bronze-colored hair of a Visigothic warrior-king, and the stern visage of a captain of men, none of which are useful in his career as a computer repairman, alas.
He has written the DEMONSOULED series of sword-and-sorcery novels, and continues to write THE GHOSTS sequence about assassin and spy Caina Amalas, the COMPUTER BEGINNER'S GUIDE series of computer books, and numerous other works. His books have sold over one million copies worldwide.
As Ridmark's war with the Exarch finally begins after he was able to quietly take over about 1/2 the island without the evil sorceresses even been made aware of it til it was to late that Ridmark and his army had taken so much so quickly. The sorceresses had cast a spell that killed everyone in one of their cities into undead hoping to destroy Ridmark and his army. Now the Sorceresses that rule the Island have been forced back and have decided to retreat back to the capital and kill the whole of the capital to unleash over 50,000 plus undead.Looking forward to seeing what ends up happening in the net book and who wins.
Once again Mr. Moeller continues to write books that are enjoyable reads and keeps you wanting more.
Ridmark and his family and friends travel through the deeps to surprise the Heptarchy on the isle of kordain. Lika stormrider meets her father who is killed by the master and she becomes the guardian of kordain. Nicomedes realizes he was tricked by the master and realizes his true plot. It will be interesting to see what happens next in the battle for kordain
Another excellent addition to my favourite series. Great action, characters, and twists. I honestly could read about these characters forever. I do hope that the author has more plans for Joachim in the future. He is by far the most underutilised member of the Arban family.
If you are a fan you won't be disappointed. Nothing particularly new but excellent development of the characters who are all advancing in power and wisdom. More to come as evil is hard to beat.
Book 4 was a fun read and had errors throughout. The overall is interesting and a bit predictable. The plot and characters are developed well, but repetitive in information on each individual.
