I came off the couch a couple of times.... an author hasn’t done that to me in YEARS. I’m late in writing my review (currently finished Book 4-Devotion) because I needed to be confident that the author was truly building a plot worth my star rating for the genre and for the series. Every bit worth my time, the characters pop out of the pages, and the action/romance/intrigue all build extremely well. Pay attention to the dialog! For a new author making a series, I think she’s nailed it.

Lots of action and plot

Really enjoyed this one. Lots of action in the first half of the book and slower action middle to end. I still need more Darius now lol! I was not expecting a particular topic brought up but it made for an interesting plot! Going to get book 4 now :)
