Days after fleeing the sports centre, Pickle, Karen Bradley, Paul Parker and Jade Greatrix have spent mundane days in the woods. But with dehydration and starvation not far away, the group are forced to leave the woods, encountering danger from human and non-human beings.


Meanwhile Jack Slade is also close to death and needs to find a temporary safe haven pretty quick as his weakness could cost him his life the next time he comes across a Snatcher.


Will our group of characters see some light at the end of a very long tunnel? Or, will they finally find it too difficult to live in the third week of this now global disaster.

This volume shows us week 3 of the Zombie Apocalypse in this series. Our main characters of Jack, Karen and Pickle are all back and showing us how they are surviving, not only against the zombies, but also against other living people. This book seemed to focus more on groups of people they met and what they were doing in order to survive, both good and bad.

If you liked the first 2 books, you will enjoy this one as well. I am glad I read it and I look forward to volume 4.
