Pregnant out of wedlock, beautiful, young orphan Gabrielle Hansen is pursued by an evil force from the past, an undying horror that seeks her innocent baby. Original.
I'll keep it simple: 1 star for the quality of the writing, 5 stars for the number of laughs I got out of the unhinged insanity of this book. I'll be talking about it a bit more over on my Booktube channel:https://www.youtube.com/@CoffeeCatsan...
Keep in mind this was written 1983. This story captivated my attention from the begging to end. I empathized with the unfortunate individuals who suffered harm at the hands of Flora and her associates. The resolution, particularly the joyous union of Gabrielle and Andre, was particularly wonderful. Both Gabrielle and her younger brother, Kerry, discovered love and a sense of belonging.
Better than Come Down into Darkness, or at least, that's what I feel about the book. 1 star down due to bunch of inexcusable grammatical and spelling errors (did they even proofread before publishing it?)
