SELF-EDITING YOUR MANUSCRIPT with a Machete and Flamethrower: How to Edit Your Novel, Don't Learn the Hard Way, Impress Your Readers, Reviewing Your first Novel
I am a writer. I would like to make a profit off this, who wouldn't? But even if I didn't the fact that people can view my words makes me a happy camper. Writing calms me and helps me meditate. Whatever I write I hope it is good and among deserving eyes.
A very basic guide to editing your novel but worth a read if you are new to the subject. I didn’t learn much from this book but then I have read heaps on editing. I did learn one new thing, however.
It’s a very quick read. I read it in about half an hour or less. The authors have written other books which are referred to in this book.
Terrible self-pub pamphlet (15 pages!) about writing from a writer with no more than 10 reviews on any of these "books" about writing (all tossed out in about a year, more like a blog than a book lineup), much less an actual novel.
For bonus points re-read the description and see how many obvious grammatical errors you see in the description of this book ABOUT EDITING. The irony.
