What an absolute treasure this book was to learn more about how this enigmatic artist lived and the wonderful collages he created. I thoroughly enjoyed this book because it deepened my passion for Cornell, his creative process., and especially the background for the collages he created.

Outstanding, thorough and profound exploration of one aspect of the improbable career of Joseph Cornell. Well written, excellent illustrations.
