It was 2 AM when Ryan got home. She had really enjoyed herself with Prince. It was dark so she assumed that King had left plus his car was gone. “Oh shit, King! What the hell are you doing sitting up in the dark?” As soon as she had opened the door he was sitting there in the foyer with a blunt in his hand. “Did you fuck him?” Ryan was taken aback by his question. “You have some fucking nerve, King. You don’t want me but as soon as someone else shows interest in me you act crazy. I’m tired of this shit with you!” Tears had begun to fall. She had thought going out with Prince would open his eyes but it didn't. “You sick of this shit but you’re the one that fucked up – not me. But don’t get it twisted, Ma, you’re still my fucking wife. You need to dead that shit with my mans.” “Are you fucking serious? You out here doing you so I’m doing me. Fuck you, King!” Before the words were out of her mouth King had grabbed her by the collar of her shirt. “Don’t fucking play with me, Ryan. That nigga will be missing by tomorrow morning if you don’t get rid of him.” He let her go and walked out the house. Ryan slid to the floor and cried. She couldn't understand why King was acting like this. They hadn't been together as a couple in over six months. King sat in his car in the garage and thought about how he was acting. Was he wrong? He couldn't help it when it came to Ryan. Maybe it was time for him to get his shit together and go home. Yeah she fucked up but it was obvious he couldn’t shake her. That was his heart and he was ready to make shit right. That night Ryan cried herself to sleep. She loved King but it seemed as if their relationship had caused her nothing but turmoil. How much more could she take from King? ~ ~ ~ ~
King sat in disbelief as he read the papers he had received in the mail. He couldn't believe that had really served him divorce papers. He wasn't ready to let go. He was ready to fight for his family but it may have been too late. He hadn't told Ryan yet, but he had hired an investigator because everything that happened between them seemed suspicious, especially the cameras being in their home. He had found out who was responsible; Tish. Not only that but she had been seen with Imran and that didn't sit well with him. He already knew what had to be done but he wanted his wife to know that he was over it and wanted to come home. He wanted to tell her how sorry he was for acting an ass without thinking. He never gave her the opportunity to explain the video. Instead, he acted on emotion and that may have cost him his family. Sending those papers was the hardest thing Ryan ever had to do. She fought with herself long and hard about it but it seemed as if King didn't want her and Prince wasn't going anywhere, even though she was getting tired of him already. As Ryan was walking in the door her phone rang. She rolled her eyes when she realized it was Prince. "Hello?" she answered with a bit of irritation in her voice. "Where the hell you at?" he barked through the phone. He had become real possessive over the last few months. "At home. Why?" Ryan had been thinking about packing up her kids and moving far away from all the bull. "Don't fucking play with me, Ryan. I need you at my house pronto. A nigga hungry." "Okay, Prince." With that Ryan hung up. She had to come up with a plan to get away from him. Truth be told, she was scared of him. He had a crazy side that Ryan had the pleasure of seeing once before. Ryan took a minute for herself before gathering her things to head over to Prince’s house. Thank god Mia had picked the kids up earlier and they wouldn't be back until later on. She didn't want her son to see Prince disrespect her again. The fairy tale that she had experienced early in their relationship had turned into a nightmare.
Ryan and King gave me trouble at times. I cannot believe some of the stuff they did. Like King. How you gonna cheat after you just got married again? Really? Then Ryan, keeping a huge secret like cancer from King. Whoa! I swear I was about to disown this book😂😂. But somehow there loved lived on. They worked at it, kept those vows and made it. As you can see love is hard, but if you meant to be. It works out in the end.
But King was great man and sorry but Ryan caused alot of this stuff. She was nowhere near innocent. I liked her but she made some dum as decisions. I liked them together glad it worked out
I won’t say the books weren’t good... but they were rushed. Especially book 2. The dialogue and grammar needed a lot of work. An incredible amount of misfortune happened to Ryan and King is such a short amount of time. It made it unrealistic. The “bag guys” just kept popping up out of nowhere as if they were just ploy devices to move the story along. Like Toya... where the heck did she come from? And even he dad... wasn’t mentioned until book 2 which was odd. That sort of trauma would have shaped the character from the beginning and instead he was just sort of thrown in to justify yet another obstacle for King and Ryan
The start of this book was so confusing to me. At the end of book 1 Cameron had been shot, but this one never said anything about it. This one starts with King in jail over some dude named Iran who we never met in the first book. There was no backstory given about the situation with him and Ryan either. Then we have people coming out of nowhere to make the story even more weird. Some facts didn't add up or go with flow of what we learned in book one. I'm really hoping the next installment pulls together with the previous books.
Ryan and King had some obstacles and hills to climb but they did it! Love, respect and trust can conquer it all with communication! Ryan was handed some of the worst things to happen to her, breast cancer, losing a child and then a father as the devil, but through it all she made it along with her family! Mia was a true sister/friend indeed she had Ryan back, front, sides. I love how Harlem loved on her.... Great series!
This series has been filled with so much content. I really enjoyed reading this and it is definitely goingnin my favorites category because Inwill be reading it again!! Well done!
While this is a good book, it felt really rushed. Each chapter was a whole different setting and scene and it seemed like it’s own story. My only issue with this book is that it should have a a warning in the synopsis about incest.
Outstanding book 2 I loved this read from beginning to end I couldn't put it down it kept me interested I recommend anyone to read this book GREAT JOB AUTHOR DEMETTREA on this book🤗🤗🤗
I am so glad that king and Ryan stayed together, that’s true love and I’m glad king got out the game but I bet he will always have to kill the enemy Thank you to the Author
I couldn't stop reading it, just when I got to a place where I thought I could stop something else good happened. Someone was always trying to tear King & Ryan apart but the always found their way back to each other. They were made for each other. I like the way everyone from Rich Boy Mafia looked out for each other they were a true definition of a family. I can't imagine what's in store for part 3 but I'm ready to read it.
I love happy endings! King and Ryan's relationship endured the most but at the end of the day they knew they were destined to be together. They constantly had to fight to prove their love. At one point in the book I was heartbroken because of what I thought happened to Ryan but at the same time I still was sad over the situation. This could've wrapped up the series but there is another installment so that's just as good!
Huh...the end of the storyline? I give this 2** because the main characters were not developed at all. Their relationships were disconnected from the beginning of the novella to the end. Maybe showing the couples sharing similar interest, family ties, etc. would be a start. Hopefully, eliminating the misspellings or grammatically errors will bring those elements together and add some clarity and direction to this series.
This was a great read a lot of stuff was going on like drama action and deceit but most of all Ryan and King find they way back to each other and their family was complete. Mia and Harlem is a hood love. Hey Demettrea is there going to be a book 3 if not do a book on the young ladies from Rich Boy Mafia the name should be Rich Girl Mafia what u think.
THIS BOOK WAS WELL WRITTEN LIKE HOW IT PICKED BACK UP WHERE PART 1 LEFT OFF AT I LIKE THE LOVE THAT THE COUPLE'S HAD WITH EACH OTHER AND HOW THE AUTHOR WROTE IT LIKE EVERY DAY LIKE HOW WE GO THRU TO GET THRU AND HARLEM@ KING IS THE MAN BRAVO BRAVO
Wow! I enjoyed this part. King and Ryan went through a lot. I didn't think they was going to make it. The story had so much going on and I loved every minute of it. I like how it ended. But just when you think it's over...I see there's a part 3. I gotta get on it because I have to see what happens next. I thought all their enemies were dead
Omg!!!!!! This book was good. Ryan, Ryan a strong women her an Mia love them in this book. Boss Bitches forreal, This book brought the tears out but it was all good, Rich Boy Mafia 2 is where its at. I know there's another book coming to play with Harlem and Mia. Demettrea I got the hint lol...
