Can eighteen year old Lucy overcome her prejudice of the rich and fall in love with her childhood best friend? Rich and lonely Jake Neels adopted Lucy and her family as his own. Growing up together it’s inevitable that he falls in love with Lucy. But what about Richard, best friend to Jake, what does he feel for Lucy? I thrashed against him wanting more but he held me tight.
"No baby. Lucy, please. We can't. You have to stop," he whispered between kissing my neck and rubbing his length against me. Then he shook his head as if to clear it and reared up on his forearms. He loomed over me patiently waiting for me to settle down and meet his gaze. His gaze was hot but his expression serious, "We cannot do this. I know you want to and I want to also but not like this. You are not ready. Not yet."
I started to hyper ventilate and Jake gathered me back up against him and rocked himself against my core. A torrent of intense feeling flooded me so intense that I was reduced to begging, "Please, Jake..please." I begged for I don't know what only knowing I wanted ...no needed more

I very much enjoyed reading about Lucy Little. You had me hooked from the beginning to the end anticipating the sequel. I have to say I am not so sure which relationship I want to blossom or would I rather see her move on to enjoy her life. Can't wait to read more about Lucy and her sisters because I think that Emily and Cat are going to add some additional fun whenever they are involved.

Lucy and Jake have always been friends but lucy throws herself at jake at her sixteen bday but jake rejects her or so she thinks.
NOW that Lucy is all grownup,jake wants lucy and so does she..but with their relation not accepted by their parents and her feelings for richard and then theirs also their matter of her sister's unexpected secret,lucy is all confused and torn.
Different story..its a bit confusing,but entertaining enough that i read both books in the series.
