A paranormal romance series. An epic journey. If the Seventine are released, will anyone survive?
Some days Abigail wonders why she gets out of bed and then she remembers; it’s her job to save seven worlds.
No biggie, right?
Not to mention the breaking of her melding bond with Brace seems to have destroyed more than just her heart. She’s hurting all the way to her soul. All she can do is focus on the tasks at hand, and with this in mind she sets out to find the remaining half-Walker females. The next world is Nephilius: a warrior planet. The inhabitants – Angelica – value fighting, bravery and honor above all else. Abigail planned on competing in their tournament, but in her weakened state she knows that she’s no match for them.
The need for a true warrior brings Brace back into her life, and Abigail has no idea if she’s strong enough to prevent their bond reforming. Sure, he doesn’t remember her, but they are and always will be mates. Therefore Brace possesses a fundamental need to protect her. And right now her own instincts are screaming at her to ease the pain inside by throwing herself into his arms.
Abigail knew it was going to be a massive sacrifice, but for the sake of everyone’s lives she needs to be strong enough to stay the distance.

I knew it! I knew something was up with him & that Abby was being manipulated. I'm so glad that she & Brace talked & realised the error of their ways but I'm intrigued as to how this whole re-melding thing will play out with the obstacles in their way. This book upped the excitement factor & I really struggled to put it down (work schmerks, who needs a job). Only two more books to go. I need to know how this ends!
I have really enjoyed reading the 5 books in this series so far - and even though the books contain the same main 4 characters ( Abby, Lucy, Colton, Brace ), I'm not tiring of their story. I'm still invested in wanting to find out what is going to happen.
A new character to the story, being a half walker female, enters with each book. In Nephilius, the female is Delane. I was probably more interested in Lucy in this story over Delane, as the reader finally gets more info on her background, and Lucy starts to develop more magic/skills. As usual, there is lots of great banter between Abby, Lucy, Colton and Brace. Poor Brace - he is a little confused at times in this story - he feels such a strong connection to Abby, but doesn't remember that they were mates and the bond was broken.........5 books down, 2 to go!!
I decided to give this book a five star rating because throughout the series I've seen a vast improvement in the writing of the story. Jaymin Eve had a good strong world to begin with but it was her writing that had let her down. As the books were so short she wasn't giving herself enough time to develop the story and provide background information. By the 3rd book most of the background info had been covered therefore it seems like this allowed her to focus on the core of the story instead. This series is fast becoming one of my favourites due to such a great blending of all these different worlds, characters and classical myths.
The series just keeps getting better and better. New characters to fall in love with. New villains to hate. Flaws exposed that make you love your heroes even more. Definitely a series that's a must read.

I liked this book and, while I appreciated the new character, I wasn't able to connect with her as I had with the others in this series. She was noble and strong and loyal and that is great but this character took these things to an extreme. One of the saving graces was the story between Abby and Brace. And the ending was great. Looking forward to the next character!
In this book the repercussions of the last really set you on edge. You just want to run into the book and say 'please be okay!' because watching it unfold is just to heart wrenching. But it is worth it because when the bad is over, the good is just brilliant! To read it because you will not be disappointed.
This series keeps sweeping me off my feet! This book gave so much more insight to the story and I'm so in love with this world. Jaymin Eve has created such a beautiful world and I have a hard time wanting to leave it. On to the next book!
I'm addicted to this series! Fairies, pixies, warriors, shapeshifters, and more! These books have a good mix of action and romance! Something for everyone!
NEPHILIUS is the fifth book in the Walker Saga, and we finally start to see some answers. The wait has been worthwhile as I have spent time connecting with the characters. It's not all over though, oh no. We've been given a small teaser, but there is so much more to go, and only two books left to do it in.
I'm happy to say that the triangle between Lucas-Abby-Brace might be sorting itself out - thank goodness. You know triangles aren't my thing, but because Lucas wasn't around all the time, it made for easy reading. Now it seems like he will have his mate after all, just not the one he thought.
This was still a hard read though. Abby is lost without Brace, but is having to put on a brave face. Not only that, but she has to go to Nephilius to find the half-Walker, who turns out to be Delane. I agree with Abby's thought that it will be good to have a warrior half-Walker with them. All of them are turning out just fine, even Fury who I didn't much like in her book!
Excellently written, leaving you with a cliffhanger as well as the explanation. On the back of this book, which was my last one, I just had to buy book 6. Now I just need to save my pennies for the last book. Look out for that review next month! Absolutely recommended!!!
Finally, I can confidently rate a book in this series with 5 stars! From start to finish, this book was awesome. There were so many new adventures and layers of discovering background and depth to certain characters that I couldn't put it down.
Spolier Alert:
I also really like what Jaymin does with the temporary suspension of Abby and Brace's bond. It was refreshing to get a break from their obsessive attachment for a little while and give them a chance to get to know new sides of each other more. I LOVE that Lucy is half pixie how this book introduces Fey with everything else. The land of the pixies is super neat and imaginative and I'm sure there is a lot yet to explore. Plus--I TOTALLY suspected Josian, even back in the last book, it was clear there was something off about him. I was actually expecting it to be worse--but I have a feeling there will be much more to unfold there. I am also excited to meet the last two half-Walkers and to get to that final battle!
Of all the book in the series so far, Nephilius was my favourite. I couldn’t stop reading the story. The anticipation of finding out what happened next was what pushed me to finish reading the story in just two days. The part that I loved was the story of Lucy. I was happy for her for all that happens in this book.
As for the new half-walker, Delane. I still couldn’t connect with her, maybe in the next book, I’ll get to know her more. I’ve suspected Josian since the previous book, and I hope everything would turn out alright in the end. Abby would be devastated, and hopefully by that time, her bond with Brace already mended.
I cannot praise this series enough! A fantastic twist on a dystopian novel that gently eases into some hefty fantasy. I read First World on a whim and before I knew it just had to buy the whole series which I read in a little less than 10 days. They simply cannot be put down! I highly recommend for anyone to give them a try, even if its not your favourite genres I promise you there is something for everyone.
Extremely well written and I will certainly be looking out for more of the author's work.
Started this book heartbroken. So I was like, come on! Let's see what we're all waiting for to happen! But you know... plots happen. So... some major things take place and bam! My Heart is put back together. Then the sneaky bits seep in and the idea of who is behind everything happening is like, what!? No! So yeah.... reading this was like no... yes!!! Yes!!! Wait.... what??? Uhm no!!! Beautifully executed Ms. Eve! You sneaky you!!! Onto the next one.... do they ever have to end though??
Finally! This was the book I have been waiting for this whole series! It was non-stop crazy adventure and tension the whole time. You got a whole bunch of new information in this one, which some of it is still making my head spin. My only complaint is that I was kinda hoping for more from the tournament since that was what intrigued me. I thought it was going to be more prominent in the book, but really when it was all said and done, it probably only lasted for a couple pages altogether. There is so much going on right now, I can tell these next two books are going to be a rollercoaster.
Amazeballs! Absolutely Amazeballs! This book is more about the world Nephilius and what is happening there. The half-walker from Nephilius is in some the twists and turns but mostly just the world. The heartache is so strong that it made me call. The betrayal that is revealed at the end blow my effing mind! I so didn't see that coming. Also if you love Lucy as I do, we find out alot about her past in this book. •••••• I highly recommend this book/series! •••••• ~~ I have Kindle Unlimited, and I used that service to read this book. ~~
okay so I maybe saw the plot twist coming, expect for who the masterminds are that was shocking.... but cool.
I hope it won't mean her (spoiler) is evil. Very interesting. I love Lucy pixie! So cute! I had secretly wished this series would be a reverse haram thing, where Lucas and every guy loves Red, the main Ninja chick. But alas I will settle for Lucy getting Colton and Ria and Lucas (sigh).
Both of these events happen simultaneously. Abigail demonstrates her ability to save herself and rescues the in-laws in the process. Even with the bond between Abby and Brace broken, their love for each other shines through. Abby is one step closer to completing her quest to save the seven worlds and all of their inhabitants. Very fast paced read.
The story continues to be amazingly written and have loved every minute of it. I can’t say I was surprised at how it ended...but it still tore at my heart to see it come to life!! 😢
I can’t wait to get into the next book this series has truly been phenomenal barely words can express my love of all the characters and story development. You’d be crazy NOT to love it!
Anyways that’s all I have time for because I seriously NEED the next book!!
OMG I was freaking shocked at the end literally felt the rage to go into the story and kill the villain to death. The story had the most extreme turn point. Although the story was really good probably the best thing. Little spoiler alert there is a marriage. Really you get to see a different side of Lucy and who she is. Aribella,s struggle is true. Love it. Absolutely amazeballs. Love it
If I didn’t mention it before I’ll say it here, Fury is hilarious! That girl makes me laugh, real belly laugh. On that note so does Lucy but I know I’ve said that already. I’m going to leave this short review with the ending. Unfortunately, I saw it coming a mile away. It’s so disappointing and heartbreaking. We got a lot of answers here at the end and in this book particular. Can’t wait to read how it all plays out.
I really like these books in this book seem to have a lot more action in it. Not only was Abby busy trying to find the next half walker, but her and Lucy had an adventure trying to find Lucy‘s pixie family. I really liked the walker girl that they found in this book. We also learned some things about Josian at the end of this book, which was kind of sad. I liked him. I will definitely be reading the next book in the series.
You can really feel the intensity of Abbs heart break after breaking her melding bond with Brace however the fate of the worlds rest on her shoulders. Big girl pants on and off to a tournament - with Brace stepping up to the challenge. Warrior angels - powerful and dramatic making the planet challenging and awesome at the same time.
I did like this one but not as much as the others. Maybe it was because of the constant references to Brace and Abby’s break in the bind or just that it felt stilted between the action. Overall though it was still a good instalment. Love the growing relationship between Colt and Lucy. That last chapter was a doozy!!
Currently finished book five of this enchanting series. The books are page engrossing and massive page turners. I especially like the originality of the plots and characters and how the are linked to myths and legends. Love, love, love, these books!! Can’t wait to read the final battle.
Great story!!! A fantastic read and you won’t be disappointed. The story keeps more interesting the more you keep reading and captured you are to find out what will happen next. Definitely recommend this book. It’s part of the series so you can’t skip this. Characters are awesome.
I am actually enjoying each story as they blossom. But, this book felt like it was more about Lucy than Delane. Even though I love books as well that have many surprising twists and turns in turns. Love the series they each one has a way of keeping you hooked!!!
